I recollect myself after what I think is 5 minutes and head back to the dining room only to find that no one is there
Jackie: oh Im sorry honey. They left on an emergency of some sort and left your suitcase here
At least she's nice. I plaster on a smile and say thank you and grab a suitcase
Tessa: um Mrs. Sutton
Jackie: oh please, call me Jackie.
Tessa: "okay Jackie, where exactly am I staying?" I asked looking at the house that surrounds me
Jackie: oh its upstairs and I will call Chance to show you
I say a quick thanks and she disappears calling Chance. I really did not like him but I knew there was no escaping this marriage. 2 minutes later Chance appears silently and takes my stuff and says follow me. I follow him silently up the stairs to a hall until he makes a stop in front of a large offwhite room with a king sized bed and possibly the fluffiest pillows and sheets on it.
Chance: here you are
Tessa: all for me?
Chance: for us
Tessa: oh... We're sharing?
Chance: Yes, you can settle down and I will be up there in an hour.
