Johnathan's POV
During our first class when I saw my mate and Archie explained everything that happened and why my mate smelled like Alec.
She took a seat next to me since the teacher ordered her too.
I smirked. "Miss me Cupcake?"
"Stop calling me that." She scowled.
"No. I like it so it's going to stick."
She rolled her eyes. "You're an idiot, Johnny boy."
"Stop calling me that." I sneered.
"Then stop calling me Cupcake." She smirked.
I rolled my eyes. "Why am I an idiot?" I muttered to myself.
"Because you yelled at me and Archie and now you're being nice to me thinking we can be friends."
She kept her eyes trained on the lecture but I gave up on paying attention.
"That's not what I was doing."
"You were bossing Archie around." She blurted.
"No, I wasn't I was asking him to leave." I pointed out.
"That's funny I never heard an 'Archie please give us a moment."'
"I am not a nice guy."
She scoffed. "That's obviously clear."
I glared. "What is your problem with me!?"
"I just told you."
I looked at her confused. "What?"
"What's your problem with me?" She asked.
"Your attitude," I answered.
"Is something I'm not willing to change and you're going to have to deal with."
I rolled my eyes. I noticed her knuckles.
They were battered and bruised. Stained with different shades of black and blue. They were also slightly bloody but the blood was drying up.
"What happened to your hand?" I asked but it came out as a growl.
She glanced at her hand then at me then back to the teacher.
"None of your business." She snapped harsher then I expected.
"You didn't need to snap."
"You snapped at me." She pointed out.
"I didn't m-"
"You didn't mean it!? Of course, you did. You think you can just tell people what to do and they'll do it."
"Fine," I growled. "Be a bitch see if I care."
'Why are you talking to her like that!' Rafel growled.
'I'm trying to be nice but she's being stubborn!' I yelled back.
'Kinda like you.'
I growled at him and blocked him out.
I turned back to Ace. She kept messaging her battered knuckles.
"Let me see." I grabbed her wrist and examined her hand.
I felt sparks and tingles shoot up my arm. I enjoyed it.
"Let me go." She tried pulling her hand back by I kept a firm grip on her.
"Your middle knuckle is sprained." I finally let go of her hand.
"So?" She asked.
"So you need to go to a doctor so they can treat it properly."
She shook her head no. "I've been hurt worse I'm fine."
"I'm trying to help."
"I don't want your help." She examined her hand. "I'll live I donned to go to a doctor."
"Yes, you do."
"No, I don't."
This girl is going to be the death of me.
I grabbed her wrist and dragged her out of the classroom.
The classroom was dark because it had no windows but I'm pretty sure at least one person saw us.
I ignored the sparks shooting up my arm.
"Let me go! I'm fine!" She tried to get free of my grip but it only tightened.
I ignored her and dragged her into the nurse's office.
I grabbed her hips and lifted her onto the counter. She tensed up when I touched her but relaxed when I let go.
I grabbed a first aid kit and set it down next to her.
I placed my hands on either side of her lap so she sounded think about moving.
"What are you doing?" She asked like if she was bored.
"I'm helping you."
I grabbed her hand and a bottle of alcohol and poured some onto her knuckled.
She groaned and clawed at the counted.
"Calm down," I muttered.
"It hurts." She complained.
"You'll live."
I grabbed the bandages and carefully wrapped them around her knuckled.
I finished but didn't move. I could see she was tense again.
"Are you going to let me leave now?" She glared.
"Depends where are you going?"
"Home."
"The school day isn't even over yet."
"So?"
"What do you mean so? Won't your mom be mad?"
Her jaw clenched and so did her fist.
"She doesn't care. And neither do I."
She hopped off the counter and walked out.
I followed her and she walked down the hall.
"Why are you following me!?" She yelled.
"Because if you're skipping then I'm skipping."
"Go away!" She pushed the doors the lead outside and left the building.
I followed after her. I blinked a few time to adjust to the light outside.
"Why are you so stubborn!? Stop following me!" She yelled.
"I'm stubborn!? You should take a look in the mirror Cupcake." I shot back
She rolled her eyes at the nickname and walked in the direction of the motorcycle that rooms my parking spot.
She walked up next to it and strapped on the helmet that was on the seat.
"This is yours!?" I asked confused.
"Yeah so?"
"You're in my parking spot." I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I don't see a sign that says 'Reserved for Idiot."' She smirked.
"It's my parking space, Cupcake."
"You know what I think? I think you call me Cupcake because either you are afraid of me or you don't know my real name. You give the name Cupcake so it makes it seem like I'm helpless."
"I am not afraid of you and I do know your name." I pointed out.
She looked unconvinced and looked at me dully.
"Your name is Ace Winters and I am not afraid of you." I looked her straight in the eyes.
"Wrong." She muttered before hopping on her motorcycle.
The roar of the engine echoed in the silence in the air.
She backed up her motorcycle until it was out of the parking space.
"You're a bitch!" I said loud enough for her to hear me as she drove away.
She didn't turn around or look at me she just flipped me off.
'That could have gone better.' Rafel rolled his eyes.
'I know right! Last time I try to do something nice for her.'
'You didn't have to insult her! She's our mate!'
'Right now she doesn't seem to be interested in anyone and we don't have time for a mate.'
'You may not have time but I have plenty of time.'
'We're the same person dumbass! If I don't have time you don't have time.'
'I don't care what you plan to do I just want my mate!' He growled.
'I want her too!' I shouted. 'But I don't think we can make her ours anytime soon.'
