We had our second an last marching competition of this season
It was fuckin cold, an rainy, an cold, an rainy, an absolutely fuckin cold
I'm pretty sure I looked like a pregnant person keeping their freshie children warm *tried but failed* being good sophomore mum
I had my freshie to my left, being all cold an shit that I had to try keeping warm
I had another freshie to my right, keeping himself warm in his jacket hoodie thing (as of above)
Then yet another freshie to his right
Then one my clarinet freshies sitting on my lap partially laying on both me an right freshie child, who was warm them conpalined that we were making him cold
I tried
I be good sophomore mum to unprepared under educated freshie children
Overall, even if it was a shitty freezing rainy day where everyone got soaked an prob'ly over half the thousand high school students there got sick, we got two awards (division 2 for guard an something for either drum major or the band) an me an freshies had sorta sitting cuddle huddle to keep warm
