First Chapter
-Introduction-
~Katie's (P. O. V)
[FLASHBACK 9 YEARS]
My name is Katie Sanders
I have a brother named Aden, he is one and a half years older than me. If i'd say so myself Its more like a month, he is such a meanie head and sometimes his meanie side comes out. Too bad i have to share a room with him in our tiny two bedroom house, one bathroom, 1 living room and a kitchen. That house will always be my least favorite because when i lived there all the bad stuff happened. My dad died while we were living there, it was my recital that day and i remember it s well.
That day i woke up i was so excited to be singing my solo in front of the whole school and having my parents watching me. I felt so proud of myself, i ran downstairs that day and jumped into my daddy's arms. "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy! Are you going to come to my recital today, i am singing solo and i will bee= soooo good"i gloated
"I wouldn't miss it even if the moon shattered into a Thousand pieces and the earth split into two." he smiled and set me in my feet
"you better be there early."i said and pouted
"And i would rush if i were late." he smiled and kissed my forehead
That day he left for work, and never came home.

That night him and mum got into a fight on the phone while he was on his way to my concert. He got mad and hung up, he threw it into the back seat. In two minutes while he was driving he got a txt from my mum, he flipped open the phone to read it. What it had said was sorry. When he clicked the phone shut he look up to see a truck coming closer. he didn't have much time so he swiveled to the right causing him to fall into a ditch. he started to get out the car but then the oil started to leak and the car blew up. he stayed alive but because of the severe burns he would be in pain his whole life. They decided to let him go, and with his permission he went to heaven.

My mum snapped me out of my Flashback.
"Katie, Aden, Come on. We are going to be late arriving at our new house." i heard my mum yell. I grabbed my only box and ran down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Gosh mum, you are to loud. Give you a bullhorn and you'll bloody kill our whole army!"
"mmmhhmmm, i will remember that." she chuckled at me
Since mum has been working extra time since dad died. She earned a lot of money, She works 12 hours a day and 6 days of work. She is earning about 250 a day, by now she probably earned over a million dollars.
Mum opened the door "Katie you coming, because we are about to leave without you?"
"i am coming."
I'd gotten into the car and now turned on my ipod and next thing i knew, I was sleeping in the car to be awoken 4 hours later by my mum
