"Ogiwara?" I say, Everyone stares in confusion,"H-how?"
"Just come on, I'll lead you guys back, Trust me yeah?" He asks, "We both know our way around in the village" He says as he pulls me along, The rest of them follow.
"I-I don't understand" I say
"You will" He replies. He leads us to the central hall in the village, Kagami giving us light ,
"What the hell? Who are you?" The teacher says
"Hi I'm Ogiwara Shigehiro." He says, I wiggle my hand out of his grasp, "I'm here to help you, Something bad's going to happen and I'm trying to protect you" He says, He turns to me the whole room silent
"H-how, I saw you die. How the fuck" I shake my head "He's taunting me" I whisper
"No Tetsuya" He sighs as a loud boom echoes throughout the room "We have to go, I'll explain later"
I look back at my brother who's giving me a confused look,
'Keep alert,' I say to my demon
'Already on it' He says, Ogiwara pulls me to a door,
"Everyone, I need you to walk through this door," He says,
"what?" Akashi says
"Just do it" He replies, Looking at me, I sigh and nod. He creates some form of symbol on the door before opening it to reveal a portal, Everyone steps through. We're in a dark room. 2 doors at either side, The dark makes me feel Uneasy.
"One door, Takes YOU all home, Another leads to Akumu" Ogiwara says, I tense at the name, "You decide though it would be best for most of you to go home." Most People took the one who leads them home, All accept The generation, my brother and Kagami, The group decided to go home along with the teacher. They all leave.
"What the FUCK" I say, "I saw you die, I SAW it. HOW?"
"I didn't die, well I did but Akumu decided that was too boring. I'm trapped down there, His own little pet, With others."
"So you didn't die?" Akashi asks
"I did. But not fully, The only way I can die is by his hand" He lifts his hand up to reveal a band, Similar to mine but it was more of a mark, It looks sore. "I'm bound to him, I'm sorry Tetsuya, You did watch me die, but you didn't see me fade" I sigh. He walks over to the door. "I can't follow you through here, I'll see you at the end. Through this door you'll see your memories, YOURS Tetsuya, He wants YOU" I nod "Don't break under them" I smile
"Never have, Never will" He nods and fades. I sigh
"Tetsuya?" Akashi says "You okay?"
"I just found out my friends been.. I don't know. Let's just get this over with" I say. I open the door, We all walk in. The light is blinding.
"Tetsuya" A voice whispers
"The fuck" Kagami whispers
"You all heard that?" I ask, They nod. We walk down the hallway, We hear laughing, Its sweet and innocent. We turn the corner and 2 children cross our paths, A small teal haired boy laughs as he turns and faces the other boy, Brown hair.
"Tetsu that's you? and-"
"Ogiwara" I finish. The Brown haired boy pulls The younger me along.
"Come ON Tetsuya."
"Its not safe, we shouldn't. We'll get in trouble" The younger me says
"when have WE cared about that, C'mon" He pulls me? Along, the younger version of me. We follow,
"Wow" Kagami says "This is what you were like?" I nod
"Tetsuya, Come on. wait" The brown Haired boy pauses "Are you scared"
"No chance" I (when 'I or me' is in italics it means the younger version) say, They continue walking down the halls of the warehouse, we follow.
Screams, We both turn around "Ogiwara? W-what was that?"
"I don't know" He says back, "We need to go, You were right" He starts Pulling me down the halls,
We follow, we see the little version of me look behind them
"Don't look behind you" he says pulling me along, They run into a room. Screaming follows. I don't even think, I just run forward. I open the door and see the younger version of me get thrown into the wall. Everyone else follows behind me, I run over to where the boy is, Leaning against the wall with a look of horror on his face. I turn and see the scene I never wanted to see again. The demon On top of Ogiwara, Impaling him over and over. His screams fill the room as he coughs up blood, every time the demon brings his hand down, Splatters of blood come out, on the walls , on the demon and even some on the little version of me. I cover my mouth and look away.
"T-Tetsuya" He says weakly, "R-Run" He adds, Holding out his hand. The younger me is frozen, Fear plastered all over his face, He's shaking. He gets up and bolts out the room. The demon laughs
"Tetsuya... Come out and PLAYY" I swallow hard as I can hear his foot steps get quieter as he follows the younger version of me. I stand there.
"Don't let it break you" I say out loud and walk out the door, Solid expression. We get quickly jolted towards the place I'm hiding, The younger version of me, Breathing heavily, Crying and grunting in pain.
"Ahh" He screams "N-not now, Please Not now" He pleads, Falling to his knees
"whats happening?" Kise asks
"He's having and episode" My brother says,
"Oh god, Please no" The younger me says, He starts shaking "Sumairu" He whispers, He screams in pain, We hear laughing as he's thrown against the wall, He screams in pain again
"Yes, scream. I like your pain, Your fear , your sadness" The demon says "Cry for me" He says. Younger me starts crying, for many reasons. We watch as he gets thrown against the wall, Over and over. By the end of it, He's a bloody mess, I'M a bloody mess, "I won't kill you yet. I'll haunt you later" Then the memory, the figures, they fade. I fall and lean on the wall, Breathing heavily. The group stare.
"F-fuck" I say staring down
"An episode?" Kagami asks, Midorima pushes his glasses up.
"Yes, An episode," I snap
"What do you mean?" Murisakibara asks,
"None of your business" I say
"Tetsuya" Akashi says, I snap
"DON'T CALL ME THAT" I scream, "YOU DON'T GET IT DO YOU?" I add
"Tetsu..." He says,
'Calm yourself' Mirai says
"The HELL is that" Kise says
"I AM calm" I say, standing up.
"What the hell is going on?" Midorima asks, "What is THAT" I smile slightly
"You will all understand in time," I respond, "C'mon" I continue walking down the corridor, We hear a smash and Akashi opens the door, We walk in and see the dining room at my house, A slightly older version of me than the one before.
"Oh no" I say
"It's okay" Sumairu says placing a hand on my shoulder
"Whatever" The younger me says,
"TETSU" The younger version of my brother yells "Get over yourself, You can't keep this up" The younger me stands,
"Get over?" I ask, "HOW CAN YOU TELL ME THAT" I turn "Ho-" I fall to my knees and clutch my chest and head
"AHHHHH" I scream, the room grows dark and cold as the shadows start attacking, plates and the chairs flying
"TETSU STOP" my mother cries
"I-I CAN'T" I say as a laugh echoes through the air "HES GETTING STRONGER"
"What the hell?" Kagami asks
"Tetsu calm down" My brother says and takes a step
"NO, DON'T COME CLOSER, PLEASE I CAN'T HURT YOU I DON'T WANT TO" I scream as the laughing gets louder
"I'm not leaving you" He yells, I continue to scream as the laughing grows, My brother steps forward again, with that a shadow comes forward and hits him in the chest. Blood flies everywhere he screams in pain as I scream, in my own agony because I got angry, had a moment that turned into an episode, he looks up and says "Fight it brother.. I know...you can". With that I close my eyes.
We watch as the room lights up again, and my brother fall
"No, no no!" I yell running to his side, crying, "W-why?"
"Tetsu?" Akashi asks, Laughing fills the room again as the figures fade.
"MURDERER"
"MONSTER"
"FREAK"
Those words echo in the room, I back up.
"Why me?" I ask The demon appears,
"Why? you ask?" He says, Pinning me to the wall by my neck, I silently gasp for air, He laughs "Because having a legend as a pet, That's Rare" I don't struggle, I can't breath, He laughs "Oh yes, This is like that dream, NO it wasn't a dream..It was a warning, or more of a, PROMISE" I bring my hand up trying to pry his hand off my neck. He was about to speak again when a loud BANG fills the room, I'm dropped to my knees as the demon vanishes. I gasp for air, I look up to see Midorima holding one of his guns Aiming it where the demon was, A serious expression on his face,
"TETSU" My brother yells, Running to my side "Are you okay?" I nod, I see A hand appear in my vision and look up to see Akashi I reluctantly take his hand, He pulls me up
"You okay?" He asks, I nod "Explain" He says, His face serious. I sigh and lean on the wall,
"Ask away" I say, crossing my arms, coughing a little,
"Who was that?" Aomine asks
"Akumu," I say, "Next"
"What does he mean by legend?" Kise asks, I smile but remain silent,
"Tetsuya...Who's the thing who keeps talking to you?" Akashi asks, I smile again
"What was all THAT! What happened to you?" Kagami asks, Murisakibara keeps eating sweets and Midorima was dusting his lucky item, A large marble, I sigh.
"They all have connected answers" I say, Looking to my brother he smiles, I guess they deserve to know if they followed me here, If they cared enough to try and find me in that village, I sigh "Okay, You have earned my trust" I say, Kagami smiles. "Sumairu" I say, He nods, lifting his shirt up, revealing the scar I had made, I roll my sleeves up, Showing my markings.
"The thing that's talking to me, Is the demon that dwells within my body." They all stare
'Pleasure' He says, I chuckle,
"The EPISODE my brother referred to is what you just saw, It created THAT" I say pointing to the scar. My brother pulls his shirt back down. "The fact it was an episode was because my body was rejecting the demon, So it was painful and I couldn't control what I can now". They all stare "Thank you for shooting the fucker" I say to Midorima
"Whatever" He says, Looking down "I wanted to help you" He mumbles.
"Y-You're the phantom?" Kagami asks a look of awe and shock on his face, I chuckle
"At your service" I say with a sly smile, "C'mon, We need to move."
"Whats HE called" Akashi asks, I chuckle again
"Having the demons name means holding power over it since it isn't a demon in the higher class and the fact its connected to me anyway We don't like that It's a mutual friendship so to speak" I say walking down to the corridor, Screams, Shouting can be heard, I Ignore it and walk to the door at the end,
"Akashi..." I say,
"Yeah?" He asks, I pull him away
"The demon who killed your mother" He scowls
"Yeah?"
"What was its name?" I ask, He pauses, thinking
"Pesuto" He replies, I nod
"Okay" I say and turn, I remember that name. It's going to be a wild ride in the future, If I'm getting haunted then so will Akashi at some point, But Akumu is the strongest.
"Tetsuya" He pauses, For some reason, Hearing him call my name, My FULL name, Didn't make me uneasy or mad,
"Yeah?"
"Are all your memories horrid?" He asks
"My past was full of pain, My body rejected the demon within it" I say, walking away, I join everyone
'I just want to make this clear, I DID NOT possess him' Mirai says 'Its a bond' I chuckle,
"Lets go" I say and open the door. We walk into a room, We're back at the school in the fight room
"KIDS" The teacher yells, "are you okay?" We nod, I roll my sleeves down,
"TETSUYA" I hear Ogiwara yell running up, He stops before me, I smirk and he wraps his arms around me "I missed you"
"You and me both dude" I say back as he releases me. "Whats going on?" I ask I see my parents and some other familiar people, His parents. We hear a loud bang
"He's destroying the school" A girl yells crying
"Everyone calm down" My mother says, "is there a way out?" She asks, The teacher shakes his head. Ogiwara smiles
"Where we going?" He asks
"Outside" My father replies, Ogiwara nods and walks to the wall, A man runs in
"WE CAN'T DO THIS" He yells, "Its powerful, we need HIM"
"Calm, We're getting out of here," My father says, Looking at me, I nod. Ogiwara smiles his classic smile and proceeds to draw some symbols on the door '自由'.
"Symbol magic," Akashi says
"Remarkable" Midorima chimes
"It's pretty useful, Isn't that right Tetsuya?" He replies
"Got us out of a lot of shit" I chuckle, Noting what he wrote on the wall, 'Freedom'. The wall shifts into a door and we all walk out, We exit outside of the school, I see many different demons smashing it, And, On the roof, A pale figure, In a suit
"TETSUYA" It says "How nice of you to join us" He says, Jumping down, "Ogiwara, You left your little cage" It snarls
"Fuck you" Ogiwara snaps, He chuckles,
"Sir, what do we do, We call him?" The fighter asks, My father smiles
"We don't need to" He says, I chuckle
"Play time?" I ask, He nods, I sigh "Everyone else should deal with the smaller ones," I turn to face the demon, "This fucker I'll deal with" The demon chuckles again, The shadows surround me, Changing my appearance, People gasp as The shadows disperse, Leaving me in my fighting attire, Markings showing,
"That's my best friend" I hear Ogiwara say, I step forward, Pulling my hood down.
Akashi P.O.V
I watch as the shadows once again surround him, When they disperse I see him in a dark hoodie, His sleeves rolled up, He steps forward, His hood being pulled down, I stand in awe, Half of his hair is black, Half is the same blue, Does this represent the demon? He turns around with a smile, One of his eyes, Like mine changed colour, It changed from the sparkling blue to a deep black, It's threatening His mask hanging round his neck. He turns back to the demon.
"I'm done holding back," He says, The Demon chuckles
"Come and Play Tetsuya" I think this will be an interesting fight, He pulls his mask on and steps forward.
Kuroko P.O.V
'Time to play' I say to my friend
'Hell yeah' He says, The echo in his voice telling me its in my head and nowhere else.
