"Chile, do you even know that boy? my momma questioned. Me and Kieran had been trying this whole 'dating' for about a week and 3 days now, it was now late February.
"Yes mama, we've been in the same classes and schools since 4th grade," I responded,"Im going to go out and grab some food for dinner tonight mama." I said going upstairs to get out of my pajamas and in the shower.
I stripped down and turned the water on scolding hot, then grabbing my vanilla scented body wash. I lathered my wash cloth up then rubbed it down my body.
I got out and put on vanilla lotion and perfume. I put mascara and sheer strawberry lipgloss on, then curled my hair.
I wore my navy blue Hollister hoodie, sparkly black leggings, and navy blue Uggs. I grabbed my keys, phone, and wallet, and headed out.
I walked into Herald's, one of the local grocery stores here in my side of Detroit.
Tonight I was making fettuccine Alfredo, biscuits, and salad. I went down aisle 7, the pasta, rice, and grain aisle.
I grabbed the noodles I would need and walked farther down. Some girl that looked so familiar walked past, bumping into me obviously on purpose.
"Watch where your going fat ass!" she said stumbling back.
"Oh I am so sorry Ms.Twiggy!" I said sarcastically putting my hand on my chest.
"Uh, uh Robyn, get her!" her friend hollered.
Robyn of course!
"Now listen here, I would beat yo ass but I'm not sure if I could get your ass on the floor. All I'm saying is, stay away from my man, Kieran!" she said.
"Or what, hoe!"
" I can't believe she did that Lani!" he said. I was currently in my room, Lamar and Kieran sitting on my bed dabbing my wounds with peroxide soaked cotton balls.
"I don't know about taking this to actually dating Kieran, like I said too much drama!"
"B-but I need you!"
I put my head down in thought, I didn't know what to do. I mean people already joke about my weight, what will they think when I walk into school, Kieran on my arm?
"Kieran, I just need some time to think!" I half yelled, and with that Lamar and Kieran scurried out of the room.
It's been 2 weeks since I last talked to Kieran, it was mid April. I knew I was hurting him, but I had to think about myself too.
Kieran😚👏: Can we meet up somewhere, I need to see you!
Me: Go on my instagram...
Kieran😚👏: Could u stop bein stubborn just meet me at McDonalds in 30!
Me: Aight.
I had got in the shower earlier so all I had to do is get dressed.
I put on my Tupac muscle tee, jean jacket, black skirt, and brown gladiator sandals and headed out.
I let 2chains calm my nerves on the ride to McDonalds.
"Hello." I greeted him.
"Hey, what's up?" he said in a hoarse voice.
"What's wrong?" I questioned, even though I avoided him, I did care about him.
"Just a cold, I'm fine. But I wanted to tell you that your important to me, I could care less about anyone else. I broke up with Robyn, I just want you!" he grabbed my hands looking into my eyes.
"How do I know you won't hurt me?" I whispered.
He smacked his teeth shaking his head, "I will get on my knees and shout to this whole goddamn restaraunt how I feel about you!" he said just below a yell.
"Ok, let's make it public." I said
"Leilani Elizabeth King, will you do the honors if being my girl?" I nodded in response.
We left awhile after and I hopped into my car, excited as ever.
Me: Ooh Toya, I got me a man, honey. Yassss!👏
