I cuddled into Chris's bare chest and rested my leg- wait what? I quickly opened my eyes, realizing that he was in my bed. I looked at him and he was sound asleep with his hand resting on my butt.
This is weird.
I slowly moved my leg from off of him, trying not to wake him up. Moving my leg was successful, next was getting out of his arm. I slowly lifted up a little off his chest, but failed at completely moving. He pulled me back to him and gave my body a tight, but gentle squeeze.
"Stop moving, E" he mumbled
"Chris" I said
He continued sleeping
"Chris" I tapped him "Wake up"
That still didn't work 😒
I pinched his nipple and his eyes shot open
"What the fuck" he moved his arm form around me "Why you do that?"
"You wouldn't let me go" I sat up
"You could've just woke me up regularly" he mugged me
"I tried that" I smacked my teeth "How'd we even get in my bed? The last thing I remember is falling asleep on the couch"
"I carried you in here because you looked uncomfortable on the couch." he stood up, revealing his boxers
"Why are you half naked?"
"A nigga like to sleep comfortably" he shrugged
"A nigga could've went to his own apartment or slept on the couch"
"I tried. Yo ass started whining and begging me to lay down"
"Psh. Negro please" I got up and headed into the bathroom
"Crybaby ass"
"I'm not a crybaby, pussy" I started brushing my teeth
"Better watch yo mouth" he came and stood behind me
I rolled my eyes at him through the mirror before he headed over to the toilet. A few seconds later I heard him peeing.
"Chris!" I said with a mouthful of toothpaste
"What?"
"You couldn't wait until I was done?"I spit into the sink and rinsed my mouth out
"It ain't like you can see nothing, chill"
"Disgusting" I started washing my face
"Girl shut up" he smacked his teeth and flushed the toilet
"You shut up" I applied some face washing cream to my skin and scrubbed it in
He came over and started washing his hands
"You in the way"
"Move then" he shook some water on me
"Go home" I straight faced him
"I want breakfast, you trippin'."
"Nah, you trippin' if you think I'm actually gonna cook for you" I got my face rag and washed the cream off
"Please?" He stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist while his chin rested on my head
"Chris"
"Yo?"
"Watch your hands"
"I am watching them" he smirked "I'm watching them hips too"
"Move" I tried to pry his arms off me
"You gone cook for me? That's the only way I'm moving"
"Fine, worrisome. I'll cook"
"You better actually do that shit too" he let go
"Yeah, Yeah." I exited the bathroom "And put some clothes on!" I headed into the kitchen
I pulled out some breakfast ingredients and started cooking. He better be lucky I'm off today.

"That food was great" Chris gave me a slap on the ass as I washed dishes
"You got one more time" I glared at him
"It was just a way of me saying thanks" he grinned
"Mhm"
I had made cheese eggs, pancakes, sausage, and hash browns.
"Nah seriously, thanks sweetheart"
"You're welcome"
His phone started ringing back in the bedroom, he went to go answer it. While he did, I finished washing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen.
"I'll be there in 20 minutes" he said into the phone before hanging up
"Where you going?" I stood in the door frame of my room
"To work" He slid his shoes on
"Where do you work at?" I asked
"I told you" he grabbed his keys "The warehouse"
"Yeah, but what do you do at the warehouse, nut"
"I work" He chuckled "See you later, E" he said
"Alright. Lock the-"
"I got you" he said before leaving out the front door
Soon as he left, my phone rang. Why is Janae calling me on my day off?
"Hello?" I answered
"Come into work. Now"
"I'm off to-"
"You gotta fill in for somebody. Be here within the next hour"
"I-" before I could finish, she hung up
"Bitch" I groaned as I went to go get ready

"Man what the hell!" I yelled angrily
Somebody broke into the warehouse last night and went through destroying everything. I'm a hood nigga, but I keep my shit organized. To see that somebody just doesn't respect my shit, pisses me off.
"We gone find who did this" Sean said
"You damn right. Call the workers up here" I said to Sean
"I did already, they on the way"
"What happened here?" Kevin came running in
"Fuck was you at? I called you almost an hour ago" I mugged him
"I had a lil run in with some folks"
"You gone have a run in wit' me if you don't get ya shit together. You slackin' and you know I don't take that shit"
"Nigga what's that supposed to mean?" He scrunched up his face
"Exactly what it sound like. Don't give me a reason to show yo ass what I mean"
"That's a threat?" He bulked up to me
"Nah nigga, it's a guaranteed promise. You better sit yo ass back down befo' you end up like yo punk ass father."
When we were all little, his pops got murdered, he was also in the drug game. Nobody ever knew how and why he died, but we did. His pops tried to double cross his boss and make more money. He got the extra money, but he never got to spend it. They found his body floating in the river, almost every bone in his body was broken.
"Nigga I'll beat yo ass!"
"Come on, pussy" I positioned myself to box his ass up
"Chill out" Sean spoke up "We been cool since diapers, y'all chill"
"That nigga started it!" Kevin yelled
"You have been acting suspicious lately. He just letting you know" Sean shrugged
"How you take it is how you take it" I added
"Man fuck y'all! Y'all some fake ass niggas! Y'all really gonna question my loyalty? I been had both of y'all backs since we was lil kids"
"Shit change" I leaned against a wall
"Fuck you nigga. I'm done with y'all" he said before leaving out and slamming the door
"Well" Sean looked at me
"Fuck him" I shrugged
"Let's start getting this shit cleaned up" he said
