it's friday morning when she realizes that it's the day of the football game.
everett's football game.
she grabs her cutest sweater, a dark purple which matches one of their school colors, and a pleated gray skirt. she applies her eyeliner perfectly, and making sure that everything else is okay and that everett will like it.
she realizes what she's doing, how much effort she's giving in to look nice for a boy... but that's okay. why can't she look her best? if she feels good...
so she looks in the mirror and puts on dark brown lipstick, picking up a pack of pop tarts off the counter before she goes.
