She never knew her family completely due to her kidnapping at a young age, unaware of her captors' reasons for not only her abduction but also that of dozens of children in the castle of Anor Londo. As each child were dragged off to whatever awaited them, the youngling always look at a crack, far from her reach, which always spawn a small and nimble cat that gives the children small doses of happiness. Kyra cherishes the cat even more than the other children since she sees the creature as a part of her family. When she was the next to be dragged off, panic arose as the priests attempted to escape from a knight of Mirrah, leaving behind the children still alive. As the knight found the now scared children, she comforted them and led them to a safe haven, setting them free in the progress. As Kyra saw the cat and followed it, she met the owners and later lived with them, developing a crush on the son, Udoroth. As she grew into adulthood, she realized that the leader of the priests, Aldrich, is still alive and is probably continuing his terror. After that, she started to train herself with twin katana that's been given to her by the foster family and now journeys on with Udoroth to kill Aldrich alongside any priest that comes in their way.
