Ruby: You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?
Yang: Yikes! Meltdown already?
Ruby: No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school! And there was some fire, and I think some ice...?

Ruby: I wish! I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage, and then she yelled at me, and then I sneezed, and then I exploded, and then she yelled at me again, and I felt really, really bad, and I just wanted her to stop yelling at me!

(Y/N): Still trying to understand how that could happen to someone on their first day of school. I mean it had only been like 5 minutes then, BOOM.
Ruby: Uh, yeah! My name's Ruby! But you can just call me Crater...Actually, you can just call me Ruby.
Blake: Okay.
Yang: What are you doing?
Ruby: I don't know - help me!

Blake: Blake.
Yang: Well, Blake, I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister! I like your bow!

Yang: Oh, yeah... That's really lovely!
Ruby: I love books. Yang used to read to me every night before bed. Stories of heroes and monsters... They're one of the reasons I want to be a Huntress!
Blake: And why is that? Hoping you'll live happily ever after?
Ruby: Well, I'm hoping we all will. As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books... Someone who fought for what was right, and protect people who couldn't protect themselves!
Blake: That's... very ambitious for a child. Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale.
(Y/N): That's a pretty narrow view of the world there? I mean everything we are here to do is to train to save people and if that doesn't mean we are heroes then I don't know what is?

Blake: Well Y/N I don't know how you see the world, but life isn't always sunshine and rainbows. Especially for a specific set of people here in Remnant, life just wants to push them down into the ground.
(Y/N): I don't believe the world to be sunshine and rainbows either. But life is as easy or as hard as you make it out to be. Everything you do or don't do is up to you. If life pushes them into the ground all they have to do is push back. Life is always so hard, but also very simple.
All three of the girls just looked at Y/N with dumbfounded faces.

Weiss: Well Y/N since I've decided that this bickering is a little childish I will forgive you. Nice to meet you my name is Weiss.
Ruby: Shh! Guys, she's right people are trying to sleep!
Weiss: Oh, now you're on my side!
Ruby: I was always on your side!
Yang: Yeah, what's your problem with my sister? She's only trying to be nice!
