1:34am. I got a phone call. It was Wes.
"Hello?" I whisper because Sebastian and Blaine were asleep next to me in the bed with me.
"Hey Kurt, this is an emergency, do you think you can come down here?" I hear Wes, it sounded like he was crying.
"Sure, what's up? Is that sirens in the background?" I gasp but then go quiet because Blaine stirred.
"You'll see when you get here" he sniffles.
"Ok, I'll be as quick as I can" I tell him as I quickly but quietly get out of the bed and try and look a bit better.
"Ok, bye" we hang up and I get myself dressed. With all the shuffling, Sebastian woke up.
"Hey, where you goin'?" He whispers as he tries to wake up.
"I've got to go to Dalton, Wes called, there's an emergency and I could hear sirens in the background, I've gotta go" I rush out to him.
"I'll go with you" he says as he gets out of bed and starts to get dressed.
"What about Blaine? I don't know what time we'll be back" I say as I quickly find Blaine's dummy somewhere on the bed and pop it back in his mouth.
"What about Santana's?" He asks. I debated the question because dad and Carole had work in the early hours of the morning and Finn always needs his sleep and I don't really want Blaine to see Finn and Rachel make out.
"I suppose so, I'll just have to owe her somehow" I quickly call Santana with an apology and I told her I'll be over as soon as possible. I pack Blaine a bag full of clothes, dummies, nappies, sippy cups, bottles and even extra clothes just in case. I carefully change Blaine's nappy while Sebastian went and did a bottle, I pick Blaine up and put one of his blankets around him before carrying him out to the car.
"Hmm" he stirs in his sleep as he shuffles around before settling back down. Sebastian soon comes out with Blaine's bottle and tells me he wrote a note so everyone knew where we were. Blaine spits his dummy out and starts to whine.
"Are you ok to sit in the back and feed him his bottle?" I ask Bas.
"Sure" we soon get in and I make our way to Santana's.
"Hey, I'm so sorry to wake you but there's an emergency at Dalton and you were the only option for Blaine" I explain to her while Sebastian got Blaine out.
"No problem, I was about to wake up anyway, I needed a drink" she said.
"Ok, here he is" I say as Sebastian had Blaine laid down in his arms.
"Here you go" Bas says as he carefully moved Blaine into Santana's arms.
"Do you have anything I could lay him in?" She asks.
"Ur yeah I think so" I go to the back of the car and pull out a portable crib. We soon get Blaine settled before thanking Santana and leaving.
"I hope this isn't too bad, I just hope someone has broken a bone or something" I say to Bas as I now start to worry.
"It's gonna be ok, we have that choir room thing today anyway, that should be fun" Sebastian tries to cheer me up.
"Thanks for the reminder" after nearly an hour later, we were there and it wasn't a pretty sight.
Dalton Academy was on FIRE!!!
"Oh my god" I start to cry as I sat in the car, watching the place burn, quite a lot of students and teachers were out.
"This is the place Blaine and I first met, we met on the stairs and he showed me around" I sob.
"Aww baby" Bas coos as he rubs my back up and down.
"How on earth am I gonna tell Blaine?" I then thought out loud.
"Does he even remember this place?" Sebastian asks.
"He does, he says that Wes lives here" I chuckle a little because although Wes doesn't live here, Blaine's way of thinking it is funny.
"Ok" we have a few minutes in the car until we go and find Wes and all the other guys.
"Are you guys ok?" I ask them.
"Yeah, but we just found out that the new student that arrived yesterday has died" Wes sniffles.
"He told us he knew how to get out of a burning building, we were now told he didn't make it time" David speaks up.
"Funnily enough, we were going to do a fire drill today"
"Wow, bit late for that one then"
"We are saddened to hear the loss of a Dalton boy, a new member to a family, a new brother to the brothers, for those of you who don't know, his name was Alex Hunter, he was a genuine kid, he loved his people and he loved to take care of his people and now may he shall rest in piece" someone speaks over the crowd of people. We all do a couple minutes of silence for him while the Academy was gone in front of us. We watched on as the fire slowly burns out and the firefighters stop their water as they watched with us. And now there's nothing left. It's all gone.
"I'll collect Blaine in the morning, do you guys need a ride back anywhere or a place at ours?" Sebastian suggests.
"Well, Nick and Jeff are coming back with me but I think Wes and Trent may need a couple of nights somewhere" David explains.
"Of course you guys can come back with us" I say. We make sure that they were all alright before we get into cars and head home. As soon as we got home, we went straight to bed, it was about 6:30am and dad and Carole had already left for work. The next time I woke up was at 11:12am. I decide to shower up and call Santana to say that I'll collect Blaine after lunch but she said she'll just meet me at the high school with him, which I really appreciated because I told her everything that happened last night. We soon get ready and head to the high school, we even invited Wes and Trent.
"Daddy! Papa!" Blaine cheers as we walk in the room.
"Hey buddy" Sebastian coos as I pick him up and hug him.
"You look very cute today, bud" he wore a long sleeve layered vest that was grey and white with a grey pocket, a pair of grey jeans, grey and white stripe socks and then some plain dark grey velcro shoes.
"Was he ok?" I ask Santana.
"He woke up crying this morning but I think that's because he didn't know where he was until he saw me, but other than that he's been good" she explains to me.
"Aww, I'm glad" I kiss Blaine's cheek.
"Although, he kept taking his shoes off and at one point tried to take his socks off" she says.
"Yeah, he keeps doing that, I don't know why"
"Ewwo Unca 'urt" Brittany comes up to me.
"Hi sweetie" she wore a similar outfit to Blaine. She wore a grey long sleeve shirt that had a few colourful hot air balloons and a couple of clouds on, a pair of blue jeans that had white dots all over them, grey socks that also had white dots over them and then a pair of grey and pink shoes that had little designs on them.
"Were you excited when you woke up and saw Blaine?" Sebastian asks her.
"Uh huh" she smiles.
"Did you tell Blaine what happened?" I ask Santana as I looked at her worriedly.
"I did, he showed no emotion, he went distant on me"
"Great, I know what that means, tomorrow he will end up being grumpy, miserable and probably be crying all the time because once you tell him some bad news, he'll be distant on the day and then the following day, he's just awful" I explain to her.
"Es" he then cheers as he tried to get out of my arms. I place him down and he goes off to Wes and Trent.
"Hello you, are you happy to see me?" Wes chuckles as he picks him up.
"Uh huh, 'ou sweep an' twent?" He asks.
"Yes, we are tonight" Trent tells him.
"Eff?"
"No, sorry buddy, did you think we were having that massive sleepover?"
"Eah" he says sadly.
"Aww, we're sorry"
"Maybe another time" I tell Blaine as he was set down. He soon helps himself up on one of the chairs and just sits there, he doesn't even go and play with Brittany. I soon zone out because I'm too worried about Blaine.
"Right, guys, let's go to the auditorium" Will says. We soon follow him to the auditorium and he comes up to us as we take a seat.
"What is going on with you guys?" Will asks as he sat opposite us and I put my arms around Blaine.
"There was a fire at Dalton. It burned to the ground. There's nothing left. Academy's gone" I explain.
"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that" he gasps.
"Only one boy died, he was new yesterday"
"Wow, well I'm here if you guys need anything and I know they may be our enemies in choir but if there's anything I can do to help them, I'd be happy to oblige" Will assures us.
"Thanks"
"If you ever need to sit out for a few minutes, that's completely fine"
"Again, thanks" I smile at him. Wes and Trent soon tell me that they've now got a place to stay so they went to go check it out.
"Thanks for everything" they both say.
"No problem, just glad you guys are ok" we all hug it out before they soon leave.
"Bwaine!" Brittany shouts from the stage.
"Come on baby, let's go dance and mess around" I tell Blaine as I pick him up. We walk to the stage and I set Blaine down, he soon brightens up and he starts laughing and dancing with Brittany and the others.
"You ok?" Bas comes up to me.
"Yeah" he pulls me into his side as we watch everyone dance around and having a laugh.
"Come on" Santana smirks as she pulls me further into the stage. We soon mess around before sitting down and catching up with one another. It was soon time to leave so San and I took the kids to get ready in their pyjamas.
"Come 'ere you" I say to Blaine as I lay him down on a portable changing mat that I brought with me. I change his nappy before putting him in a pair of navy trousers and a long sleeve white shirt that had rockets, planets and stars all over it.
"Aww, little spaceboy" Santana coos as she struggled to get Brittany in her pyjamas because she kept getting distracted and kept moving.
"Finally" Santana sighs as she managed to get Brittany in a sleeveless pink and white vest and a grey unicorn sleep suit that had 'dream big' written underneath the unicorn.
"I suppose it's dinner and then bed" I tell Santana.
"Definitely is" she agrees with me as we make our way back to the auditorium.
"Hello" Will greets us again as the kids ran in.
"I just want you guys to meet someone real quick" Will says before he rushes off stage, we all mumble against each other, confused. He soon came back out with his son, Daniel.
"Aww" we all coo. He looked about a year old now.
"Baby" Blaine points out really loudly, making everyone laugh.
"Good job, bud" Bas chuckles before kissing Blaine's head.
"Well, come meet him" we all go over and we all say hi to Daniel.
"May I hold him?" I ask.
"Sure" he passes him over and Blaine whines.
"Oh, come 'ere you" Sebastian picks Blaine up so he could see better.
"I" Blaine waves at him, making Daniel giggle. We all took turns holding Daniel until he got fussy, we say bye to everyone before going to our cars and we drive off to McDonalds. I order our meals before passing Blaine and Sebastian's there's before I grabbed mine. We eat on the way home and Blaine fell asleep.
"I'll grab him, if you want to bring his bag in please" I say to Bas.
"Sure" I grab Blaine before I take him inside and quickly change his nappy before tucking him in, Bas and I kiss him goodnight before tucking him in and heading to my room, we get ready for bed ourselves.
"I'm so glad everyone was ok, except that boy" I sigh.
"It's alright, we've been up since half one, let's just get some sleep" he reassures me.
"Alright, just prepare yourself for tomorrow, that's when Blaine's emotions will come out because of what's happened" I tell him.
"It's ok, he's fine"
"I love you"
"I love you too" we kiss each other goodnight before cuddling each other and finally going to sleep.
