ERNEST'S POV:
Halos kalahati na yung tapos mag audition at ang nakakatawa ay hanggang ngayon iilan palang ang pumapasa dahil sa sobrang strict nila in terms of talent lalo't hindi daw sila satisfied sa performance nung mga tapos na mag audition.
"Why are you so strict?" bulong na tanong ko kay Joseph at Yvan
"Don't blame us! They're the ones who's making decisions!" sagot naman ni Joseph sabay turo dun sa mga MG
"Don't you think we need a new member of Street Movers?" pagpaparinig naman ni Yvan
Dance club is divided into two groups!
The first one is the Street Movers, which is a mixed-gender group. Kyle, Yvan, and Joseph are the most valuable members, and Yvon and Andrey are also members of this group. I don't have any idea who the other members are.
The second group is the Black Ladies. It is a female group, and all MG members are on that team.
"Out of 30 student, ilan sa tingin niyo ang papasa?" curious na tanong ko sa kanilang dalawa kaya naman napaisip sila
"Maybe less than 10" sagot naman ni Yvan
Tatanungin ko sana si Kyle pero pag lingon ko sa kanya ay kasalukuyan siyang naka pikit. Don't tell me natutulog na naman siya!
Parang ngang wala silang pakealam sa audition na ito dahil sa hindi nga sila nanunuod. Busy si Yvan at Joseph sa pag cellphone at minsan yung atensyon nila nasa akin lalo na kapag kinakausap nila ako.
"Kaya bang sumayaw ng kapatid mo?" tanong ni Joseph kay Yvan kaya naman nagkibit balikat ito
"I'm not sure either because I've never actually seen her dance before" sagot ni Yvan
"If you've never seen her dance before, then maybe she's not good at all!" sabi naman ni Joseph pero umiling si Yvan
"All of us joined a dance class when we were little. Yes, I've never seen her dance before, but that doesn't mean she's not good! Because believe me or not! My sister is good at everything, and she can even rap!" sagot naman ni Yvan kaya tumawa si Joseph
"Don't laugh" suway ko kay Joseph
"If Ysabel is a great dancer, then there's a chance that they might change the center!" sabi naman ni Joseph
"What are you saying?" seryosong sabi ni Yvan
"I'm not biased, but to be honest, your sister is an ideal center for the team. Look, if she's good at dancing, then we can't deny that she can be the face of our group since she has a pretty face too!" sabi ulit ni Joseph kaya naman napaisip kami
"Keep quiet before someone hears you" suway ni Kyle habang naka pikit pa rin kaya naman natawa lang si Joseph
Medyo sensitive topic kasi yung tungkol sa center position lalo'nat si Ashley ang kasalukuyang center ng dance club.
They have the standard for the center position, and that should be a good dancer with a pretty face. In fact, they only chose Ashley as the center because she's the girlfriend of Kyle, the captain of the club.
They say that Jessica is supposedly the one in the center position, but she didn't join the club when we entered high school since she hates being compared with her cousin.
So the next option was Yvon, but she hates getting attention, which is why she rejected it.
"We still have two people before the two of you!" sabi ni Coach Rina habang naka tingin kina Jessica at Ysabel kaya naman tumango lang sila
The reason Ashley always breaks up with Kyle is because she needs to focus on dancing. She knows very well that she can be replaced once they find someone who is better than her. In short, she knows that she's just a substitute.
"My god! Wala bang magaling dyan? Iilan palang ang nakukuha" maarteng sabi ni Lexi tsaka sila nagtawanan na magkakaibigan
"We should take him!" biglang sabi ni Yvan ma siyang ikinagulat nung MG
"What? You're kidding, right?" gulat na tanong naman ni Lexi
"No, I'm not!" seryosong sagot naman ni Yvan sa kanya kaya natikom ang bibig ni Lexi
"To be honest, he's not that bad!" sabi ulit ni Yvan kaya naman tumango si Joseph tapos yung mukha nung MG ay hindi makapaniwala sa nga pinagsasabi nila
"And as a member of Street Movers, I won't complain if we take him!" sabi naman ni Joseph
"I also agree with Yvan because, right now, Street Movers are in need of male members since some of the members have already graduated!" sagot naman ni Coach Ken
"Congratulations! Bryan Macaslang, a freshman, is now officially a member of our dance club!" sabi naman ni Coach Rina kaya nagpalakpakan yung mga tao dito kabilang kaming magkakaibigan except dun sa mga malditang babae
Agad namang pumunta sa gilid yung lalaki dahil mag perform na yung sunod na mag audition.
"Jessica, your next!" tawag naman ni Coach Rina kay Jess kaya naman tumango ito tsaka na siya naglakad na papunta sa may gitna
"Wait! Does our ex-co-captain still need to audition?" pabirong tanong ni Coach Ken kaya naman nagtawanan yung mga ibang students
"Our dance team right now is totally different from the previous team that she's been on!" sarcastic sabi na sabi ni Beryll
"Can I ask what's the difference?" seryosong tanong naman ni Andrey
"What do you mean by difference? Is it that they accept members who are not even good at dancing? Or do you mean that some people who are not even good have the audacity to judge someone's dancing?" sarcastic na tanong naman ni Yvon kaya tuloy napangiti si Yvan at Joseph dahil sa may point nga naman yung sinabi ni Yvon. Yung anlakas ng loob nilang magkakaibigan na maging judge ngayon dito pero di naman sila ganon kagaling sa pag sayaw! Di rin naman ako marunong sumayaw pero atleast I don't judge other peoples talent.
"What did you just say?" naiinis na tanong ni Ashley kay Yvon kaya naman ngumiti ito
"I didn't say anything bad because I'm just making it clear what difference your friend is referring to!" sarcastic na sagot naman ni Yvon kaya nag salubong yung kilay ni Ashley
"Wait! Are you offended by what I just said?" sarcastic na sabi ulit ni Yvon
"Why would I?" mataray na sagot naman ni Ashley sa kanya kaya naman tumawa si Yvon
"Because it looks like you just got offended by my words, but if you didn't, then nevermind!" sagot naman ni Yvon
"Guys, what are you doing?" suway naman ni Coach Rina sa kanila kaya naman ngumiti pilit na ngumiti si Ashley tsaka siya humarap kay Coach
"In fact, the coaching staff and almost all the members of the dance team right now were her teammates before. She was the captain of your current team, right?" tanong naman ni Andrey sa mga MG pero inirapan lang nila ito
Kung kilala ang MG sa pagiging attitude at halos lahat ng mga babae ay takot sa kanila pero may exceptions dahil itong si Yvon at Andrey ay hindi takot sa kanila at isama na natin si Jessica dun.
"So did you prepare a performance for us?" tanong ni Coach Rina pero umiling lang ito
"If you were a member before, shouldn't you be aware of the rules? You should know that if you want to join the team, you need to audition, which means you should prepare a performance!" sarcastic na sabi ni Sam kay Jess pero ngumiti lang ito
"I'll apologize for not preparing in advance if that's what you want me to do!" sarcastic na sagot naman ni Jessica habang naka tingin kay Sam
"I have no intention to offend anyone in this club, but to be honest, I have my own priorities, and dancing is not one of them! And I won't deny what's obvious, which is, I really don't want to join the team anymore, but due to unexpected circumstances, we were forced to join this club! And to make it clear, we were informed at the last minute, so we didn't have that much time left to create our own choreography since we're busy studying for the examinations" seryosong sabi ni Jessica habang naka tayo sa may gitna
"And I'm sure that the only ones you passed were those who performed their own choreography! You know, I find it funny because you're confidently sitting there to judge someone's dancing! Aren't you embarrassed? I mean, how do you judge us when you're not even that good at dancing? No offense, but how could you belittle someone's choreography as if you could do one yourself?" seryosong sabi ulit ni Jessica habang naka tingin dun sa apat na member ng MG kaya naman natawa si Joseph
"How dare you!" galit na sabi ni Ashley tsaka ito tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo niya
"Oh my! Did I just say what's on my mind?" mapang asar na tanong ni Jessica sa pinsan niya kaya naman napangiti nalang rin sila Yvan, Yvon at Andrey na kasana nilang naka upo ngayon sa harap tapos mahahalata sa mukha nila Coach Ken at Coach Rina yung pag angat nung dulo ng mga labi nila dahil sa sinabi ni Jessica
Sa totoo lang nagpapaka superior ang MG dito sa dance club kahit na di naman sila ganon kagaling. At hinahayaan lang sila ni Kyle dahil nga girlfriend niya si Ashley.
"You can do freestyle! We all know that you're good at that!" sabi nalang ni Coach Ken kaya naman ngumiti si Jessica
"Do we really need to see her dance?" tanong naman ni Joseph
"Of course! She needs to prove herself if she really deserves to join the team once again!" seryosong sabi naman ni Ashley
"But all of us know that she's a good dancer!" sagot naman ni Joseph
"We don't care if she's good! If she wants to join the team, then she needs to be evaluated face-to-face! It is not called an audition for nothing!" seryosong sabi naman ni Beryll
"Look who's talking!" sarcastic na sabi naman ni Yvan habang naka tingin kay Beryll
"I just want to ask, did we also evaluate you when you joined the team? Because, as far as I remember, we didn't see you perform face-to-face!" seryosong sabi ulit ni Yvan kaya naman natawa si Joseph at natahimik nalang si Beryll
"Stop it, guys!" suway ni Coach Rina sa kanila kaya naman tumahimik na silang lahat
Habang naka tayo si Jessica sa gitna ay biglang nagbulungan si Coach Ken at Coach Rina.
Tapos napansin kung biglang tumayo si Yvan tsaka siya pumunta sa may isang gilid na kung nasaan si Ysabel tsaka naman sumunod si Yvon sa kanya.
"What's wrong with Ysabel?" nagtatakang tanong ni Joseph sakin habang naka tingin sa doon kinaroroonan nilang magkakapatid ngayon
"I don't know!" sagot ko naman
"Should we go there too?" tanong ulit ni Joseph sakin kaya naman umiling ako
"Mas lalo lang siyang kakabahan kapag lumapit pa tayo sa kanya" sagot ko nalang habang pinapanuod namin si Yvan at Yvon habang pinapakalma si Ysabel
"As the head coach of the dance club, we have decided to pass Jessica without evaluating her performance because we already know what she's capable of and there's no need to judge her performance" sabi ni Coach Ken
"But, coach, we need to be fair!" seryosong sabi naman ni Lexi
"Jessica was the past co-captain of the team, and she was also the leader of Black Ladies before, so there's no need to evaluate her because she can't be in those positions if she doesn't have the talent!" sagot ni Coach Ken
"Don't speak about being fair because you and your friends got accepted into the team without auditioning either!" sarcastic na sabi naman ni Andrey kaya inirapan siya inirapan ni Lexi
Para namang pinapatamaan ako ng mga ito!
Hindi kasi ako mag audition dahil bahala na ang mga kaibigan ko sakin.
"It's so nice to have you back on the team, Jessica! You can sit now!" masayang sabi naman ni Coach Rina maya ngumiti si Jessica
"Thank you, Coach!" sabi nalang nito tsaka na siya bumalik dun sa pwesto niya kanina na kung saan kasalukuyang nagkakagulo yung tatlong magkakapatid
"Our last performer for today's audition is Miss Alyanna Ysabel" sabi Coach Rina
Pagkatawag ni Coach Rina kay Ysabel ay bigla namang iminulat nitong lalaking nasa harapan ko yung mga mata niya.
Yung kanina pa nagkakasagutan yung mga kasama niya pero dedma lang siya dahil kanina pa siya natutulog.
"Alyanna Ysabel" tawag ni Coach Rina ulit kay Ysabel na kasalukuyang kinakausap ni Yvan
"Is there something wrong?" tanong naman ni Coach Ken sa kanila kaya naman ngumiti si Yvon
"She's just getting ready!" sagot ni Yvon
"Gosh! What's taking so long? We need to finish this audition because we need to go somewhere!" maarteng sabi ni Beryll
"If you can't wait, then just leave! We won't stop you" seryosong sagot naman ni Yvan kaya natahimik si Beryll
"Just a piece of advice, my dear! Think first before you speak, so you can avoid being humiliated in front of many people!" sabi naman ni Joseph
"And if I were you girls, I would keep my mouth shut and be quiet rather than being humiliated so many times in front of other people!" seryosong sabi ulit ni Joseph sa kanilang magkakaibigan
"I'm curious, but how many times have you been humiliated this afternoon? I think it's not even once or twice!" mapang asar na sabi ulit ni Joseph sa kanila kaya naman pareho nalang silang nanahimik
"You can do this! Always remember that we are always here for you!" mahinahon na sabi naman ni Yvon kay Ysabel tsaka niya ito tinulak papunta sa gitna
Pag tapak ni Ysabel sa may gitna ay laking gulat namin dahil biglang nagsidatingan yung mga tao para manuod! Kung kailan patapos na tsaka naman dumagsa ang maraming tao.
"What's wrong?" tanong ni Coach Rina sa kanya pero di niya ito sinagot kundi yumuko lang siya
"I've heard she has a phobia!" seryosong sabi ni Sam kay Coach Rina
"Phobia??" tanong naman ni Coach Ken
"She has anthropophobia, Coach!" sagot naman ni Ashley
"If you're scared of people, then why did you choose to join our club?" nagtatakang tanong naman ni Coach Rina
"The three of us don't have any choice but to audition for this club, even if it is against our will, because that is what Sir Jim wants. We need to obey what he wants, if not, he will punish us again" seryosong sagot ko naman
"Alyanna, is it okay with you if you show us your dance?" tanong naman ni Coach Ken sa kanya pero hindi pa rin siya sumasagot kundi naka yuko lang siya
"Can I ask what genre you usually dance in?" tanong ulit ni Coach Ken sa kanya
"Just like her siblings, maybe she could also do any genre!" sagot naman ni Joseph
"Really?" excited na tanong ni Coach Ken kaya naman tumango si Yvan
"What's the use of that skill if she can't even face us?" sarcastic na sabi naman ni Beryll
"At least she has the skills compared to you!" seryosong sagot naman ni Yvon sa kanya kaya kami natawa ni Joseph
"How dare you!" naiinis na sabi ni Beryll
"You are free to leave if you don't want to be here anymore! No one is forcing you to stay!" seryosong sabi naman ni Kyle kaya mas lalong natawa si Joseph. Kanina pa tahimik si pinuno at ngayon palang siya magsasalita.
"My dear, I already told you to think before you speak! How many times have you been humiliated this afternoon? Don't tell me you loved being humiliated in front of other people!" mapang asar na sabi naman ni Joseph kay Beryll kaya natawa naman yung mga tao dito sa club room pati na rin yung mga nasa labas
At dahil sa ilang beses nang nababara si Beryll ay wala na siyang nagawa kundi yumuko nalang dahil sa kahihiyan!!
"Alyanna" tawag ni Coach Rina sa kanya pero naka yuko pa rin ito
"Just play any music" sabi ni Yvan tsaka sila parehomg lumapit ni Yvon sa kapatid nila
Nung makalapit sila sa gitna ay sakto namang nag play yung isang hip hop song na kung saan palaging sinasayaw nung kambal.
"What the hell are you two doing?" galit na tanong ni Ashley kina Yvan at Yvon dahil sa bigla silang sumayaw
At habang sumasayaw yung kambal sa gitna ay kasalukuyan pa ring naka yuko si Ysabel.
"Ate, its time to face you fear" sabi naman ni Yvon sa kapatid niya
"Go, Ysabel!" malakas na cheer ni Jessica tapos bigla namang sumigaw si Joseph kaya naki sigaw na rin yung mga nanunuod
After mag hiyawan nung mga tao dito ay biglang inangat ni Ysabel yung ulo niya at mapapansing iba yung facial expression nito.
It's not fear!
"Look at her eyes!" seryosong sabi ni Joseph kaya napatingin kami sa mata ni Ysabel
"I never saw that kind of facial expression from her before! She looks so different" sabi ulit ni Joseph kaya tumango lang ako
Habang naka tingin ako kay Ysabel ay bigla itong napatingin sakin kaya naman agad akong ngumiti.
"You can do it!" sabi ko sa kanya kaya ngumiti lang siya at nag umpisa na siyang sumayaw kasama ng mga kapatid niya
Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang mapanganga habang pinapanuod silang magkakapatid na sumayaw dahil sa super galing pala niyang sunayaw. Sa totoo lang, mas magaling pa siyang sumayaw sa dalawang kasama niya. At mas magaling pa siya kaysa kay Jessica na dapat center ng dance club.
Halos lahat nang nanunuod ngayon dito ay parang nahulog ang panga dahil sa sobrang namamangha sila sa galing ni Ysabel sumayaw.
It is indeed true that you should never judge a book by its cover, because we know Ysabel to be shy and afraid of communicating with other people, but even if she's like that, we shouldn't underestimate her skills and capabilities.
Look at her now!
She doesn't even look scared at all. She looks like a different person.
"Oh my god!" masayang sabi ni Jessica habang pumapalakpak nung natapos sumayaw yung tatlong magkakapatid
"I think there's no need for us to evaluate her performance!" sabi naman ni Andrey habang pumapalakpak
"Welcome to the team!" sabi naman ni Coach Rina sa kanya tsaka pumapalakpak yung mga nandidito ngayon sa loob ng club room
"Thank you, Coach!" sagot naman ni Ysabel
Hindi na nagsalita yung mga MG dahil alam naman nilang mapapahiya ulit sila at tsaka natatakot na silang magsalita lalo't sinuway na sila ni pinuno.
"She's so good!" namamanghang sabi ni Joseph habang pumapalakpak
"She looks like she's a different person" sagot ko naman kaya siya tumango
"Her dance skills make her more beautiful, and I really find her amazing" seryosong sabi ulit ni Joseph tsaka siya lumingon kay Kyle na tahimik lang na naka upo
"Don't tell me!" sabi ko sa kanya tapos ngumiti lang naman siya
"What?" tanong naman niya sakin
"Do you like her?" biglang tanong ni Kyle kaya naman nagkibit balikat lang siya
"What's with that reaction?" tanong ko naman sa kanya kaya siya ngumiti
"She's beautiful, she's smart, and we can't deny that she's also talented, and most of all, she's from a well-off family!" naka ngiting sagot naman ni Joseph
"And your point is?" tanong ko
"Just admit that it's not that hard to like her" sagot naman niya tsaka siya biglang tumawa dahil sa sinabi niya kaya naman ko siya binatukan
"How about you, my friend? What do you think about her?" tanong ko naman kay Kyle
"She's good!" seryosong sagot naman niya
"That's it?" sabi naman ni Joseph dahil sa isinagot ni pinuno
"She looks so different!" seryosong sabi niya tsaka na ulit siya pumikit
To be honest, it's hard to hear a compliment from Kyle, and if he compliments someone, then that means it's true.
Why?
Because he never lies!!
