Chapter Begins:
I sighed as I walked into the twins room to see Talia in her crib playing with her hands as Elijah was still asleep, they both turned one a few months ago and it hurts seeing them grow up so fast.
Talia's face lightened up when she saw me. "Mommy." She smiled, causing a smile to form on my face.
I bent down picking her up. "I'm here." I whispered kissing her cheek as I made my way out making sure I didn't wake up Elijah.
I walked into the kitchen setting Talia down on her booster chair, they both did know how to walk but they would end up falling on their butts since they are one. "Let's see what mommy has got for you." I said opening the fridge. "Hmm." I took out bananas and shut the fridge not before jumping.
Clutching onto my chest. "For the love of god, Derek!" I scolded giving him a death stare, he smirked down at me. "That's like the third time!" I hissed, he laughed wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me close to him.
"I'm sorry." He kissed my lips, I smiled when we pulled away. "My baby is awake." He walked past me and towards Talia picking her up in his arms and kissing all over her face causing her to giggle.
"Daddy." She giggled.
I couldn't help but crack a smile and the father and daughter scene, turning around and continued making her food. Once I was done I handed Derek the plate and cup of milk to him. He took it and started feeding her, I ran a hand through my hair huffing.
"I've been trying to call, Scott." I told Derek, turning around and looking at him. He looked up at me. "He's not picking up and i'm worried about him." I played with my hands.
I haven't seen the pack in a while since Derek and I moved out of Beacon hills, we wanted the kids out of danger and live at a safe place. "Maybe he's busy." I shook my head.
"My mom hasn't been picking up either, neither is the rest of the pack! The only person who has been answering calls is Stiles who is away from them." I freaked out running a hand through my hair.
He stood up walking towards me wrapping his arms around me. "Hey, they're okay." He kissed my forehead causing me to close my eyes. "Just don't think like that." I sighed closing my eyes.
Until I heard a cry causing my eyes to open again. "Elijah." I unwrapped myself from Derek's arms and quickly ran into the room to see him crying the crib as he held the bars. "Baby, mommy is here." I picked him up.
He instantly went quiet as he laid his head on my shoulder. "Mommy I hungy." I laughed at his baby voice.
"You look and act just like your dad." I told him laughing as I walked out of the room.

Derek and I walked towards the shed, he grabbed my arm stopping me from taking another step. I looked over at him confused. "Stay here." He told me before walking in, I sighed looking around the place.
A grunt caught my attention causing me to look at the door and walk in, since when have I ever listened to Derek? I walked in to see a guy grabbing Derek's arm into an arm lock but Derek easily disarmed pushing him towards my way not aware that I was here.
My eyes flashed as I kicked the guy with all my werewolf power causing him to fall unconscious. Derek raised an eyebrow as I sent him a sweet smile before we turned our attention to the hunter on the ground.
"Why are you hunting werewolves?" Derek asked him crouching down in front of him.
"Because of you." The guy said with fright laced in his voice. "He wants you." I looked at Derek the same time he looked at me before we both looked back at the hunter.
"Who?" Derek asked, the guy looked hesitant as he kept silent, I jumped in fright when Derek unexpectedly growled and lunged forward pinning the guy to the ground as his eyes flashed and his fangs were out.
I swallowed hard looking down at the hunter.

"Derek what are we doing here?" I whispered, looking up at him as he payed full attention to the sheets that were covering shaped looking cars.
He walked towards one of them and threw the sheets off revealing a Camaro, he smirked at me. "Get in baby." He winked, I laughed a little before we both got into the car.
"Drive safely." I warned.
He smirked looking over at me. "Oh angel, I don't make promises." He said, before driving off full speed through the door and on the dirt road.
I let out a shaky breath before slapping his arm. "I hate you." I said, breathing hardly. "Don't try to kill us, our kids still need us." I sent him a death stare.
He chuckled. "I love you too." He said, not taking his eyes off the road.
I rolled my eyes playfully as a smile formed on my lips.

Derek and I made it to North Carolina but Chris was also with us, I crossed my arm raising an eyebrow. "You were tracking us this entire time?" I asked raising an eyebrow at Chris who looked at me.
He nodded his head. "Right." I closed my eyes.
"Scares me but doesn't surprise me." I told him wrapping my cardigan around me.
He smirked at me. "There's another vault?" Chris asked Derek surprised.
Derek walked towards the lock. "More than one Hale." We watched Derek unlock the lock. "More than one vault." He told him as we walked in, he grabbed my hand interlocking my cold hand with his warm ones.
Chris looked at the two of us. "I get the need that you two want to keep your feet from the fire, but I also don't think you two wanna see Beacon Hills burn to the ground." Derek and I looked at each other before looking back at him.
"You're asking us to come back?" Derek asked, I raised an eyebrow at Chris.
Chris sighed. "How about, admitting with great difficulty that we need you." He then looked over at me. "And we need you as well, Scott and your mother need you." I sucked in a breath looking the other way.
It hurt leaving them, especially the look on my mom's face it was hurt she didn't want me to leave but it was for the best, I had to keep my kids somewhere safe and far away from any danger. Scott got upset and angry at the same time and we kind of had a mini argument but then he understood.
Stiles and Lydia both had the same emotions as Scott. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked back at Chris. "That sounds more like an Argent." I spoke up.
"And protecting Beacon Hills sounds more like a Hale." He said glancing at the two of us, I shivered at the cold weather stepping closer to Derek's warm body, which caused him to wrap his arm around my waist.
"Hey, if we go back, it's not for Beacon Hills." He started, as he rubbed his hand up and down my waist. "And there's something I gotta take care of first." Pulling out the yellow wolfsbane.
Trust me I had no idea what it was until Derek explained it to me. "Where did you get that?" Chris asked eyeing the yellow liquid.
I slowly pulled away from Derek as he looked down at the yellow liquid. "Whoever murdered that pack in Brazil, they were looking for this." He told him mentioning to the wolfsbane in his hand.
I nodded my head. "And we're going to make sure they never find it." I told him, Derek looked over at me and smiled.
"Get rid of it." Chris told us.
"You know it's not just poisoned." Derek informed him.
"Maybe they want it because it's an antidote." Chris admits.
I furrowed my eyebrows at him as I crossed my arms looking at him curiously. "Is that why Gerard wants it?" I questioned making the two looked at me.
"Well, that sounds like you already know the answer." Chris told me causing Derek to narrow his eyes at him.
He glanced down at me then back at Chris. "So you want us to help you stop him when you're the one who brought him back?" Derek asked interlocking our hands again.
"Gerard knew more about the Beast than any of us." Chris explained, causing me to roll my eyes at him. Well that didn't go as planned now did it? "So like it or not he was the ally we needed at the time." Yeah, get the guy who tried to kill us. "But you two are the one we need right now." Derek sighed looking down at me.
"I don't want my wife in danger." Before I could say anything I was cut off by headlights hitting our eyes, it was so bright I could barley see a thing, Derek pulled me behind him standing in front of me protectively.
My eyes widen when I saw three FBI agents with the guns in the air pointing at us. "Federal agents!" One of the FBI said.
"Don't move! Put your hands in the air!" The other FBI ordered.
Then guns went off, I saw Derek and Chris fall to the ground at the same time when a bullet hit my knee causing me to fall to the ground in pain. My eyes widen when I saw Derek trying to grab the wolfsbane that was rolling on the ground until a foot stopped it.
I looked up to see, I groaned loudly when I saw her face. "Are you kidding me?" I asked annoyed and in pain.
"Hey handsome." She smirked down at him. "Miss me?" I sighed sending her a glare when she looked at me with the same evil smirk.

"You're just as popular as ever, aren't you?" Kate asked, eyeing Derek. "Must be those blue eyes." I stuck my claws out reaching for the bullet in my knee. "And those perfect cheek bones." She hit him in the face with the bottom of his gun I closed my eyes when I heard Derek grunt in pain.
"I thought it was my smile." I closed my eyes at my husband's words, hearing him pant in pain, I clenched my teeth when I grabbed the bullet pulling it out.
I threw the bullet away from me. "Where's the rest?" Kate questioned holding up the yellow wolfsbane.
Derek looked up at her. "Why?" He started. "It's not enough to save Gerard?" Derek questioned her, My knee healed within a second which caused me to relieve since the pain was gone. "You really think it's gonna make a difference with him?" Derek continued to push. "You're what he hunts, Kate." Derek pushed.
"I know that you can heal from one or two shots." She her gun at his head. "But a direct hit to the head? I don't think so." I heard a gunshot going off from behind me as Kate ran behind one of the cars.
I looked behind me to see Chris and sighed in relief. "You've always got to ruin a good time Chris!" Kate screamed.
"You think someone with that much hate is gonna have any love left for you?" Chris spoke up as, I sat up.
"You're the one looking for a father to love him, Chris." Kate shot back. Wow that family is pretty messed up to be honest. "All I want is some good, old fashioned revenge." Derek and I looked at each other before looking over at Kate. "This wolfsbane is going in a bullet." She held up the wolfsbane. "A bullet for Scott McCall." She glanced at me with a smirk as I felt my heart sink.
Kate ran off, as Derek helped me up. "Chris, get back to Beacon Hills." I told him, feeling anxiety build up in me. "Warn Scott." Derek nodded and looked down at me.
Cupping my face smashing his lips against mine. "Go home, in case anything happens to the kids." I nodded my head, before I watched him run off as Chris left as well.
I ran a hand through my hair looking around the dark area, before walking away.

I sat home anxiously, as the kids were asleep right next to me on the couch, I was worried about Derek the idiot lost his phone and I can't call to see if he is okay. I played with Elijah's hand as I watched Talia shift in her sleep.
I slowly got up putting the blanket around them before kissing both their foreheads, I froze when I heard my phone ring, walking in my bedroom picking it up from the nightstand and answering the phone call. "Stiles?" I crossed my arms.
"Layla, i'm coming to pick you and the kids up." I furrowed my eyebrows.
We ended the call when Stiles explained everything to me, I packed up. Mine and Derek's things then quickly rushed to the kids room packing up their things. I have to take the kids to Mrs.Martin's house since no one would know my kids are with her.
Let's this begin.

It feels good to be back! How did you guys like this chapter? Yeah there wasn't that much of Dayla moments in there. Anyways I guess next episode is the last of teen wolf then we'll start with epilogues and extra chapters!
