They left us here, three of us. But they're is sleeping. Sitting next to Allan I can see him clear, his freckles. His dark and intense eyes and long eyelashes. Tall, dark, and handsome. And a muscular body. He's hot.
“What are looking at?”
I startled. “Wait, what! No, nothing. I'm just going to...” I don't know what to react so I put my hat on the table in front of us.
“Stop it, its fine.” He said.
“Okay.”
Then he closed his eyes again. What am I supposed to do? Sleep with them? Boring. I wish I joined Rea.
Just when I'm about to close my eyes Allan spoke, “Hey.”
“Hey.” I replied.
“Did you slept well?”
“Yeah. How about you?”
“Fine.” He put his shades on, “I apology for what they had done to you.”
“Don't worry about it.”
“But they are so immature!”
“They are just having fun.”
He sighed. Didn't speak.
“Why are you so kill joy?” I asked.
He took off his shades, “I'm not kill joy!”
“Then what are you?”
“Stop it Elisse!” He yelled at me.
I didn't speak. And suddenly,
“I'm sorry.” He said.
Still, I didn't speak, then I remembered something, “Hey! You didn't answer the questions last night! Answer it” I said.
He glanced at me suspiciously, so I shot a look at him.
“Fine,” He continued, “I don't have a best friend. I studied at South High, I'll be 25 on 3rd of July. My favorite color is black, food? It's pretzels and the most precious thing I have is my wristwatch.” he stopped. He glanced at me.
“And?”
“My first love is,” He shook his head, “I don't remember her name.”
“You're lying! First love will always be there somewhere, in your heart!”
“I said I don't remember!”
“Fine. I'm not forcing you.” I told him. “Can you tell me more? About yourself?” I moved closer to him.
“Why?”

“Alright, we own this place. Princess is...”
I interrupt him, “What? You live here?”
“Yes,” He continued, “Princess is my younger sister, our parents were divorced so I'm the one who's in charge to manage this beach resort.”
“Whoa! Amazing! You have your own resort! Isn't it great?”
“No, it have a lot of responsibilities, and conflicts to handle.”
“Is that so...” I said.
We stopped talking, it's getting awkward. Maybe I should sleep too.
I took my hat and put it on my face, then I closed my eyes.
“Hey! Are you sleeping?” Allan asked.
I ignored him, I don't want to speak.
“Hey! Your acting skills are not good enough.” he continued.
“Can you not stop talking? I'm trying to take a nap here!”
“You can't sleep,” He raised my empty frozen coffee drink, “You just drank a coffee.”
I gasped. He smirked. I took the cup from him. He annoys me! Calm down Elisse, you came here to make friends, not enemies! I thought.
Gilbert woke up. Finally! I never talked to him since I met him. “Hello Gilbert.” I said.
He just waved his hand.
“How are you feeling?” I asked.
He didn't answer me.
“Gilbert doesn't speak much.” Allan said.
“Why?”

So Gilbert doesn't speak. What am I going to do now? Have a conversation with Allan again?
“So, you're staying here for how long?”
“Five days.” I said.
“Five days more?”
“No, I only have three days left.”
“That fast?”
“Yeah, I have to go back and back to work.” I said.
“Hey Elisse, what do you think of Bellagio Terrace?”
“Fine, why?”
“So, tonight? At 8. See you there.” He said.
“Wait, what?” I shot a look at him, “Are you asking me out?”
“Yeah, it's a date.”
“A date?”
“Be ready.”
“But I hadn’t say...” I stopped, he stood and walked away. “Yes yet…” I whispered.
He turned back and said, “And wear your best.”
Fine. I thought.
I have a date, for the first time. Someone asked me out. There's butterflies in my stomach, why am I feeling this?

“Elisse?” Princess said, waving her hand in front of me.

“I said, what's going on?” Rea said.
“Nothing.”
“Really?” Princess said.
“Yeah.”
“Then why is A not here?” Rea said.
“I don't know, he just walked away.”
“What! He walked away?” Princess said, shocked.
“Why? Is there any problem?” I asked.
“Yes, definitely.” She said, her face blank, “Did you do something? Anything that made him pissed?” She asked.
“No, I guess.”
“Nothing?” She said, “Oh no! We're in a big trouble.”
“Why?” I asked.
“If you let him walk away be ready because he will do something crazy or worse.” She continued.
“Really?” I said, “He just asked me out then he walked away.”
Princess looked at me suspiciously, “What! He asked you for a date?”
“Yeah, is it a bad idea?” I asked.
Oh no! What am I gonna do? What if he's mad? What if he will do something crazy? No! I screamed.
“Elisse! Calm down!” Rea told me.
“Calm down? Me?” I stood up, holding my hat walking away, “What if he kills me tonight? What?” I'm freaking out.
“My God Elisse! He was just asking you out, not to kill you.” Princess told me, “As far as I know this is the first time she asked a girl out.” she giggled.
I stopped.
“No need to worry anything. Your date will be fine.” Rea said.
“O-okay.” I said.
I walked away. I can't get him out of my mind! Bellagio Terrace, 8pm. 'It's a date.' I'm nervous.
I got back to my room. Once I touched my phone I dialed Emily's number.
“Emily?”
“Hello Elisse, what's up?” She said.
“Nothing, I just missed you.”
“Come on! I know you, you'll call if there's something wrong going on.” She stopped, “Do you have a problem?”
“No, it's just...” I can't say the words.
“Just what?”
“I have a date tonight.” I spilled it.
“Whoa! Really?” She sounds excited.
“Yeah. I need your help.”
“Who's the lucky guy?” She asked.
“Allan Marquez.”
“Wait, did you say Adam Méndez?”
“No! Allan Marquez, please Emily. Don't bring up that thing, it's past already, okay?” I said.
“So, what's the plan?”
“What plan? I don't have any plans. It's my first time! I don't know what to do on dates!
“Um, tell me the details of your date.”
“Bellagio Terrace at 8 tonight.”
“That's it?”
“Yeah?”
“Um, just wear a simple dress and a flats.” She paused, “White dress will do.”
“Thanks Emily but what will I do there?”
“Just act naturally. Be who you are.”
“What if I mess up?” I asked.
