Ⓣhe camera's lens clicked when the brown haired male pressed the button. The beauty of the sky was captured by his camera, his proud smile forming his lips.
The cool breeze made the trees dance, and nature filled his nose with its scent; he took a deep breath to fill his lungs, and then out again. The summer breeze was about to disappear, and soon the autumn would be welcomed.
The students around the young male weren't even watching where they were going. They bumped into him, into each other, and objects in the way. Jungkook just rolled his eyes; it was all because all their eyes were fixed on was on their phone screens. Even he, who loved photography, art, and social media, didn't get distracted by his phone when walking, especially to his class.
It had gone a few weeks since school started again after the summer holiday. His class had even had a few little projects already, but none major. He and his classmates were suspecting their professor would give them their big one now for the rest of their semester.
Jeon Jungkook was a student in Bachelor of Fine Arts at Seoul University. His major was photography: it had been something he had always loved ever since he was a small child. He had always been the responsible one in his family to take photos at events, gatherings, and so on. He just simply loved it, and when his family gave him the blessings of studying it further to try and make a job out of it, he was overjoyed. See, the male was from Busan, and so had to move to Seoul into the dorms to study what he wanted. He had just been home in Busan for the summer holidays, so it wasn't difficult to see his family every once in awhile.
As he arrived in his auditorium, he found his usual seat between his two best mates, Min Yoongi and Kim Namjoon. They had already arrived, so he greeted both of them.
"You're later than you usually are," Namjoon commented teasingly.
Jungkook nodded. "Lots of students everywhere, blocking my way as usual," he replied, causing the two to chuckle.
They didn't have to wait for long until their professor would appear. Once she told the students what project they would be given, their previous suspicion was correct: they have given the last big assignment for the rest of semester, so until the Christmas holidays. As she told them, each student in the class would have to find their own personal model. They could decide for themselves to find someone professional or someone who'd just agree to help, although it was a benefit to find someone with experience.
The University would pay the models as they'd literally give all their time for four months to the students as they'd be given several small assignments along the way with their model. Jungkook and his classmates were given two weeks to find their model and to let the professor register them.
"What are we gonna do?" Yoongi whined, obviously not knowing how to get an own personal model.
"I think I know," Namjoon suddenly said, a smile creeping up on his face, "I know a really handsome guy who's just a few years older than us. I have to see if he can be my model." And immediately afterwards he ran out of the auditorium (after being allowed of course), leaving his friends alone in wonder.
"Lucky him," Yoongi muttered as he rolled his eyes. Jungkook nodded in agreement.
"Too bad we can't be each other's models," he said. They both sighed, but Yoongi seemed to had been in deep thoughts as Jungkook tried to get his attention, but didn't succeed. "You okay hyung?" he asked. He still didn't respond. "Yoongi hyung?"
"Huh?" he asked suddenly as he seemed slightly surprised when the younger male waved his hand in front of him.
"Can you think of someone?" he asked surprised.
Yoongi slightly nodded. "I think so," he muttered, almost inaudible, "I think Hoseok knows this guy. I believe he had told me he's a rookie model."
"Hoseok knows a model?" Jungkook asked surprised, "and he hasn't told me?"
Both of the males quickly stood up, storming out of the auditorium, hoping to be the first one to approach to the said male's dorm room. They arrived at the same time, knocking and slamming on the door, appearing to wake up the elder one with his eyes barely open, and his bare torso with only pyjama pants on.
"What in the world would make the two of you come so early to knock so violently on my door?" he asked, obviously annoyed.
"WHO'S THE MODEL?" they both blurted out, causing the frown on Hoseok's face to grow.
"Model?" he asked. "Oh, Park Jimin?"
Yoongi nodded. "YES!" he yelled before the younger had the chance. "Give me his number!"
Jungkook mentally swore to himself as he hadn't heard of him before and couldn't be quicker to ask for him.
"Uhm, sure," Hoseok nodded as he rubbed his eyes. "Come in."
Yoongi stood in front of Jungkook, sticking out his tongue playfully at him, already claiming the model first.
Jungkook sighed defeated but still followed them into Hoseok's room. He didn't have a roommate, so his room was big and spacious, something Jungkook envied. He shared his dorm room with Yoongi, so they were pretty much together all the time.
"Hoseok hyung?" Jungkook started as he grabbed the other's attention as he gave the number of the model to a grinning Yoongi. "Do you know any other models? Or just some good looking people?"
Hoseok thought for a moment. "Sorry, but no."
The younger just sighed frustrated. Just my luck, the thought sarcastically to himself.
Shortly after, Jungkook and Yoongi went back to their shared room; the raven-haired male had already called for his model, introducing himself as he asked for this favour, being paid as well of course. Also mentioning their mutual friend, Jung Hoseok, and surprisingly the model agreed and would meet at their campus to get to know each other and discuss the work.
Jungkook admitted he was jealous of his friends. He had texted Namjoon, asking if the person he thought of could be his model, and he replied yes; now Jungkook was the only one of them who hadn't found his model yet, and scary thoughts such as never finding one entered his mind, turning him depressed by the thought.
"He's beautiful," Yoongi muttered so lowly Jungkook, who stood right beside him, barely heard him as they saw a stunning blond haired male enter their room.
"Hello," he greeted with a bow, walking up to them as he held out his tiny hand for them to shake. "I'm Park Jimin. Who's Min Yoongi?" he asked.
Jungkook was tempted to lie and say it was him, just to grab his attention and make him look at him for longer than just a second.
"It's me," Yoongi smiled. The youngest frowned at him slightly, never seeing his friend smiling as big as he was now. "We - we have a project until Christmas to find a model to work with, helping us. Our professor said you'd be paid as we're backed up by the school," he explained.
The model's smile grew as he locked eyes with him. "I'd love to work with you, Min Yoongi."
Jungkook back away after introducing himself, and just watched them slightly as they talked about the project and Yoongi explaining how it'd work. The model seemed to have noticed how sad he had become and tried to ask what was wrong.
"What's wrong, Jungkook?" he asked.
"I still haven't found a model," he scoffed, but still tried to not be too obvious how sad it made him.
"Really? Want me to help?" he asked.
Jungkook frowned at him slightly. "You can't be both of our models, Jimin," he explained, "we have to have each our own."
Jimin chuckled. "No, I mean, want me to call some of my friends? I made most of my friends through our company, Big Hit, which is a model industry. I can see if anyone's available?"
Jungkook's face lightened up immediately. "Really? You would do that?" he asked excitedly.
"Of course," Jimin agreed as he smiled his angelic smile.
It had gone a few days already, and none of Jimin's friend had time to help the helpless student. He still had no model, and the professor had told him he just had three days left to find anyone, or he'd fail the project, which would cause him to nearly not be able to participate in the upcoming exam towards Christmas.
"I'm desperate," Jungkook growled, surprising his roommate and his model.
Jimin seemed to be slightly hesitating, which caught his attention. "Is there something you haven't told me?" he asked suspiciously.
"Actually, there's someone whom I haven't told you about," he started, still just as hesitant, "but I'll tell you he's not someone who agrees to work easily, and he's pretty known to disappear during shots and even flees whenever he wants to. He's not someone who people enjoys working with."
Jungkook still didn't seem too bothered. "But he's good-looking?" he asked. "I need a model."
"He's my senior at my company. I haven't asked him for your sake, but are you really desperate? Enough to actually agree with him?" he asked seriously.
Jungkook was as serious as he had ever been. "I'm so desperate I'd model a spider if I was allowed." And that would be bad, as Jungkook's biggest fear were spiders.
"Then I'll call him."
