You've Said...

You’ve told me before

How I need to fight

But I just fell to the floor

And wept in the cold dark night

You’ve said to have no fear

And to face tomorrow and smile

But to me nothing is clear

And nothing is worthwhile

You’ve given me a ray of hope

But I just tossed it away

Now I just can’t cope

And my bridge of hope just sways
