Walking to the next class with Kagami, we're both silent, please don't talk to me, i don't want friends right now.. or ever. Bad things have happened when i make friends.
"Damn that Akashi" Kagami says silently i look at him "it would be wise for you to listen to him"
Kagami says i scoff " i don't take orders from anyone" i say without thinking, my eyes widen in shock as i realise i'v just spoken, i look at Kagami who also looks shocked, then he smiles,
"Your funeral" We continue to walk in silence. we walk in and i see a group of people to the side, Kagami pulls me towards them, "guys this is Kuroko, he's new" He says walking up, they see me immediately and i hate it. "I'm Hyuuga Iunpei" says one with glasses (A/N they're all the same age in this) i nod,
"Kyoshi Teppei" say one, hes so tall, i nod again, they all introduce themselves all accept one who nods at me "This is Rinnosuke Mitobe, no ones ever heard him speak, so don't take it personally" says the one who introduced himself as Izuki i nod. the teacher walks in
"okay class settle down," he says, his voice is deep "now wheres this new kid?" he asks looking around Kagami pushes me up and shouts "right here" he looks at me "you're kuroko tetsuya?" he asks, i nod "I'm Mr. Otsuka, i see you've found a seat" i nod again, he gestures for me to sit down, i do and glance at Kagami who's smiling, i look down, what was this lesson again, my blood runs cold when i remember, i look up to see a huge circle in the middle of the room, this is where people practice their abilities and showcase what they can do. This is also where they learn how to control them or bend them. I'm NOT ready for this, i can't, i haven't figured it out. The teachers talking away when i see, oh no I swear this group is haunting me, the rainbow group, all looking at me, i stare down trying to figure out what in the hell i'll do if they make me show something. "Hey kuroko" Kagami whispers i glance towards him "so.. what can you do? or are we going to have to see it" i shrug looking down at the book in front of me. "Kuroko" The teacher call, i stand "Care to show us" he asks gesturing to the circle, i swallow, hard. I walk down to the wide space, slowly "do you need someone to accompany you?" he asks, i look at him, he sighs gesturing for Kagami to come down, no! don't make it seem like we're friends. Kagami walks down and stands next to me, everyones eyes are one me. I hate it. We step into the circle when i see a hand raise from my side, it was him, 'That damn red head' i think to myself
"yes Akashi?" the teacher asks
"May i join" He asks the room falls silent, its cold Akashi's eye goes yellow for a second, the teacher nods and Akashi stand opposite me, scissors in hand, ill admit it, i'm nervous 'what do i do?' i ask myself
"USE MEEE" a voice inside my head calls, i can't. i won't. A loud bell snaps me out of my thoughts as akashi stands still , staring at me, then it hits me, what i can do, i step to the side exposing Kagami who looks shocked i would do so, a small smile plays on Akashis face and in one swift movement launches a blade towards Kagami, he, of course makes a scream-like sound and closes his eyes, i however close my eyes and clap my hands together , creating a Sphere around me and Kagami that glows a bright teal colour , opening my eyes i see the blade bounce off and fall to the floor. Kagami opens his eyes and gasps,as does the rest of the class 'oh god,they know?' i ask myself.
The room is silent, The silence is broken by a low growl from. Akashi?! D-did he just growl , what is he? he steps forward, I'm on defence, i don't like defence, i fall to my knees pressing my hands together only letting two of my fingers point up, the teal fades as i drop the only protection me and Kagami had, before Akashi makes a move, the light colour surrounds him, making him unable to move, he hits it and blue energy courses through the are hitting the sphere giving him a small shock, he moves his hands back and growls again. I turn to Kagami who's looking at me shocked.
"Thats enough" the teacher calls, i drop the sphere and walk over to the teacher, Everyone's gaze on me, "protection huh?" the teacher asks i nod and go back to my seat "that was AWESOME" Riko screams in my ear, Kagami sits down " not so loud yeah?" he says to her "but that was pretty cool, no ones ever gotten Akashi to growl" Kagami adds smiling
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" i ask blank expressions, the group gasp,
"and so he speaks" Koganei says the team smile and laugh at his joke, i stare with a blank expression, i look down and see the group staring at me "who are they anyway" i ask Kagami
"ahh now your interested" Kagami teases
"i want to know who keeps staring at me" i say
"They're the Generation of miracles, they're know as prodigies, amazing people with fantastic abilities, But to me, they ain't nothing special" Kagami replies
"Not as special as.. him anyway" Riko says smiling, i tilted my head to the side to let them know i'm confused "you don't know about him?" She asks well she shouts, everyone looks "Quieten down" people start to gather round, i hate it, Riko giggles "you'll learn soon enough" she says,
"so" i look at kagami "what makes them so special" i ask
"that's another thing you'll learn" Kagami says staring at where they were, "shit" he says, i glance over, they're gone
"that's not the only thing you'll learn" a voice from behind my says, i don't have time to react before i hit the floor
"Kuroko" people yell, i look up and meet maroon eyes, hes bending down to meet me, people are staring. This isn't how its meant to be, i'm a shadow i'm not meant to be seen, now all the attention is on me. "Be a good boy and stay on the floor yea?" He asks me, something in my head tells me not to speak, to just nod and agree but i can't, its not me, i'm already pretending to be someone i'm not "Go to hell" I spit not even thinking about what i say. The crowd, even the teacher gasps, he quickly pretends to not see this display of violence. Akashi stands and kicks me hard in the side, i roll onto my other side clenching where he kicked, trying NOT to scream in pain. No i'v had worse than this, been through worse than this.
"Akashi stop" Kagami pleads, The red head glares at him "Do NOT tell me what to do peasant" i cough trying to regain the air that left ,e, "now want to try that again" he asks looking at me, i stare back "go. to HELL." I scream, emphasising the 'Hell'. What am i doing, i should stop but my pride, he stands grabbing scissors from his back pocket. Crap. i bring my hands together and close my eyes, creating a light bubble around me, no one can see it but its there, i hope. The sound of metal being thrown and bouncing onto the floor makes me open them, Akashi looks at the green haired boy he stares back. He turns to me, i drop the bubble "My orders are absolute, one way or another you WILL obey, i show no mercy on those who don't" he speaks in a low tone
"I'm not a dog" i say back, he stands and walks out, the group follow him, Kagami runs to my side
"You must have a death wish, no ones ever done that, Go against akashi and..." he stops, i stare at him awaiting and answer
"You sign your death certificate" says a random person in the ground. Death? I'm not scared of death. I'v faced it many times, i't doesn't phase me. I stand with Kagami's help. Not that i needed it. "Stick with us Kuroko" Teppei says, i nod, not that i wanted to, i just want them to leave me alone.
~time skip~
It was lunch and i was walking down the halls and i suddenly realize i can't breath, oh the blond one is hugging me, WAIT WHAT?!
"Can't.... breath" I say
"Sorry, sorry Kurokocchi" he says
"'-cchi'?" i ask confused looking at kagami who has a look on his face that can only be described as protective
"he adds that to names he respects" another voice echoes through the hall, i see the tall tanned one coming up behind him, i look around trying to spot the red head, or flying scissors "Not here kid, hes talking with Midorima" He adds
"Midorima?" I ask looking at Kagami
"The green one" he says
"Right anyway" i say looking back "Repect?" i ask confused
"No one and i mean NO ONE has ever gone against Akashi-cchi's orders, plus, not many people can do what you do Kurokocchi" says the blond
"and you are?" i ask
"Kise, this here is Aomine" The blond says, i nod at the tall one
"nice meeting you" i say turning to Kagami, "we go now?" I ask and sigh, i Don't want to be around these people who are deemed 'special' Kagami nods and we start to walk away that is until Kise and Aomine start to walk behind us, they really are haunting me aren't they?
~Kagami p.o.v~
Why are they bothering us? They need to leave, Its the kids first day and hes almost dies, TWICE i don't get him but.. i want to protect him and befriend him, he just needs to let me in.
~Akashi P.O.V~
That little rat, disobeying me? ME? unbelievable, i turn to see midorima looking at me
"WHAT" i snap
"nothing" he says, holding his 'lucky item' a wooden owl, very original, i sigh and sit on my chair "Who is he?" I think to myself "Who is Kuroko Testuya?"
~Kagami P.O.V~
I can tell Kuroko is uneasy by these two following us, i turn around and face them
"Need something?" i ask aggressively
"i wanna talk to Kurokocchi" whines Kise, i see Kuroko sigh and close his eyes, once we get to the lunch room i take kuroko and sit with the people i introduced him to, he sits silently and stares out the window, so distant. The other 2 sit on the table behind us.
Something is bothering me about this kid, i can tell he's hiding something, but what, what is so mysterious about the new kid, I'm snapped out of my thoughts as my head collides with the table, i look back to see A purple haired giant glaring at me. i See Kuroko Glance and his eyes widen before looking out the window again
~Kuroko P.O.V.~
As i stare out of the window thinking, i hear a loud bang and turn to see Kagami holding his head staring at the large snack eater, i feel my eyes widen and turn to the window again. 'No, no NO i do NOT want to talk to them, they're not special' i think
"OI" He says, i slowly turn my head to face him, his face is Right in mine,
"what" i say to him,
"Murasakibaracchi, leave him alone" Kise says standing up "You've got some balls to stand up to Aka-chin" he says, i shrug and look back out the window, "well" he starts straitening up, i glance at him, "You better listen to him, or you'll be finding a pair of scissors in your head" he walks away and all i do is scoff at his remark, 'ARE YOU GONNA FOLLOW ORDERS' The voice calls, no i will not. I break the silence after a couple of minutes, "so" They all look at me, shocked that i initiated conversation, i admit its not like me, it shocks me too, "what can you all do?" i ask, even though i don't really care.. that's what i tell myself.
"You'll see in time Kuroko-kun" Riko says smiling, i nod, looking out the window, i hear whispers behind me, i ignore it i don't want anything to do with those rainbow headed Freaks..well, I'm worse than them i suppose.
~Time skip to end of day~
I sigh as i step in the door, the empty house is cold. I walk to the fridge and look inside, theres a couple days worth of food. Im not hungry so ill leave it for now. I look at the note, theyll be home soon, I place my head on the table. I need them to come home, the house feels to empty, i may act cold and emotionless but i still love my parents. I go to my room, change and lay on the bed,
'Why is Kagami so intent on being my friend?' i think to myself 'He should get away if he knows whats good for him, im a bad luck charm' All these thoughts are running through my head, before i know it i drift off into sleep.
