Michael's POV
I overheard Blue talking to Aby about stuff. Then I heard my name mentioned. They were talking about me. They said something about how I asked Blue out. I smiled when I heard her say she does for a fact, like me. Blue began talking about her previous relationship and why she doesn't want to rush into another.
It's sad to think she had to go through a breakup like that. Why would somebody even want to cheat on her? She is funny, adorable, beautiful, and amazing. Whoever would cheat on her must have been on drugs or something because she is perfect. The guy sounds like a total jerk. I wonder what she even saw in him.
During the barbecue we all talked and ate food. Us boys all played soccer or football (whatever they call it). The whole time I couldn't stop thinking of Blue.

I went inside to get everybody drinks when I noticed Aby was watching tv and Blue was alone in the kitchen making popcorn.
"How's everything outside?" Blue asked.
"It's good. Your brother is funny." I replied.
"Yeah, he is quite funny."
"So uh Blue, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come with me to the beach tomorrow?" I asked nervously.
"Sure." She answers smiling at me.
"Great, sounds like a date." I say immediately regretting it. "I mean not like a date date but like a date on a calendar?" What I said probably makes no sense.
"Yeah, I can't wait for our little date." She smiles before walking back to the living room. I smiled to myself knowing that maybe she does like me.
