We built a nice fence around the property and even added one more cabin.
Which is good considering that winter is near. Me and Rick have been farming enough food to last us through winter. While Daryl and i do hunting. Needless to say i've seemed to get along well with this new group. My powers have become more manageable thanks to Sam and Dean.
Especially Sam i have times where i lose control of my powers but he brings me back to sanity.
My powers have even evolved?
I am now psychic!
Which is kind of useful for preventing accidents and even deaths.
Carl thinks it's really cool. The kid thinks i'm cool in general.
I am currently in my cabin with Carl and Judith near the fire with Stein of course resting his head in my lap.
I rub his head constantly he's spoiled.
"(Y/n) can you..can you speak to dead people?" Carl asked.
"I don't know, why do you ask?'
"I....lost my mom a while ago...guving birth to Judith...and i want to talk to her one last time."
"I don't know if i can do that....I haft to talk to Sam before i do that ok?"
He nodded sadly.
"Hey, if i can....i will." I say and he smiles in response.
"Where'd you find Stein?"
"In a shelter a while back. He only understands German and He only responds to my commands.So if i tell him to sit in german he'll do it but if you do it. He won't even pay you any attention." I say as i continue to stroke his head.
Sam came from outside off guard duty
"Stein, hol mich eine Decke!" (Fetch me a blanket!) Stein ran to the room Sam i currently Share and got a blanket while i ran to Sam's side he was cold and shivering.
"It's getting crazy out there." Sam said shivering.
"I figured," I help him take off his giant over coat. "It's might start snowing earlier than i predicted." Stein came out of the room carrying a blanket in his mouth he dropped it in my hand.
"guter Junge!" I praised him and he wagged his tail.
I got on my tip toes and wrapped the blanket around Sam's shoulders.
"Thanks." He said.
"No problem, Sit down near the fire so you'll warm up quicker." He does so while i put his Jacket in the room.
I came back and Sat on the floor near the fire with Stein.
"You don't have to sit on the floor." Sam said.
"No it's fine i do this with Stein sometimes, " I say smiling at him."Oh Sam i have a question."
"About?"
"My powers, can i talk to the dead?"
"Why?"
"I want to talk to my mom one more time." Carl admitted.
"It's possible but blindly trying to talk to the dead in hopes to reach your mother is a bad idea. If we open a door a bad spirit might come through and Dean and I have had our fill of paranormal activity for one lifetime. You need to have something that once belonged to her." Sam answered.
"My dad keeps her wedding with him! Do you think that'll work!?" Carl asked.
"Yea that'll work, " Sam said."Let's wait after dinner (Y/n) you might want to go take a nap it's gonna require a lot of energy and focus to do a summoning."
"A summoning? Like a seance?" I questioned.
"Yea."
"How do we even summon? i don't know how to summon a ghost."
"I write up a summoning chant."
"Is this safe?" I asked concerned.
"I would never let you do anything that i think would harm you. I care for you too much."
I blushed. "Thanks." I go into our room and lay down on the bed.
2 hours later....
Soon everyone had eaten dinner and were now lounging about the fire trying to keep warm.
"(Y/n) can we do the séance now?" Carl asked.
I looked at Sam who nodded gave me the ok before handing me a small ripped peice of paper with some scribblings on it.
"Go get the ring." I say smiling.
Carl went to his dad and asked for the ring who got up and came along with Carl.
"Carl said you needed the ring for a seance?" Rick said.
"Yea he wants to contact your wife." I said.
"You better not be bullshittin’."
"This is gonna be my first time. Sam said it's possible not it's gonna work 100%." I say.
He hands me the ring.
"Sam what do i do?"
"Focus on the ring, hold it close to your chest then close your eyes and say what's on the paper."
I nodded and took a deep breath. "What's her name?" I asked focusing on the ring.
"Lori Grimes." Rick said.
I closed my eyes and held the wedding band close to my chest.
"Spirits of the past, move among us. Be guided by the light of this world and visit upon us. Beloved Lori Grimes, we bring you gifts from life into death. Be guided by the light of this world and visit upon us." I chant and Everything went black.
Sam's pov:
Her eyes went completely white and she looked up to the sky seizing as if another spirit was taking over her body and she dropped her head down suddenly before slowly looking up in confusion.
"Carl? Rick?" (Y/n) said but you could tell it wasn't her doing the talking.
"Mom?" Carl said.
"Lori?" Rick said.
Tears began to floor out of her eyes.
"Oh my god sh-she's so beautiful up close. C-can i hold her?"
Carl passed Judith over to (Y/n).
She began bawling her eyes out. "I've been watchin' over you. Watchin' you grow."
"Mom." Carl said again.
"I'm so sorry i made you put me down. I wish more than anything that you didn't have to do it. But my my look at you. You've grown up to be the handsome young man i always knew you'd be. Your hair could definitely use a trim." She giggled running her hands through carl's hair.
"Lori at the prison...." Rick started.
"Yes that was really me rick you weren't going crazy i wanted to see you one more time before i had to go."
The family hugged her before she leg go.
"I miss my strong handsome boys and my beautiful baby girl," She rubbed Judith's hair before kissing her forehead. "It's time for me to go but i want you to know i'm watching over you. Always was always will be. I love you" She kissed Carl and Rick's forehead. (Which kind of made me jealous as seeing as it was (y/n)'s body) Before she started seizing again im the same manner as before and we got (Y/n) back.
"Did i do it?' She asked panting.
"Yea." I said smiling at her.
She smiled weakly before fainting.
I rushed to her side and picked her up.
"She's fine, she just passed out from sheer exhaustion being possessed and letting a spirit use your body as a vessel takes quite the toll on your body." I explain before carrying her to the room and laying her down on the bed.
1 hour later....
Your pov:
I woke up to my head pounding and my heart riddling with bricks of emotions. I started screaming and crying.
Sam's pov:
She shot up crying and screaming. I cupped her cheeks.
"Hey, Look at me focus on me." I coo
She looked me in the eyes and started to calm down.
I caressed her cheek unconciously. "All better?" I asked her.
She nodded shyly. "I can't understand why i don't have complete control over my powers."
"I read that when you use your power too much you loose control of your power. The seance took a lot of energy out of you. So your powers are gonna be out of whack."
"Thanks Sam."
"No problem."
"(Y/n)."
"Hm?"
"I read there is a another way to channel a person's emotions without using too much power."
"How?"
I took her hand and placed it on my heart.
Your pov:
When i felt his heart i started to feel......
Love?
Sam looked at me with a worried look.
I kissed him. "I love you too." I say smiling.
He smiled before he kissed me again.
2 years later....
Sam, Dean and Daryl were out scavenging because I went hunting last time and i'm thoroughly exhausted especially since i use my powers as a human radar.
I was always worried about Sam anytime he's not in my site so we learned something else cool about my powers when you meet what would be referred to as a soulmate you are able to detect their heartbeat when ever you feel worried as well as channel their emotions whenever i feel like it and it always calms me down though it feels weird having two heartbeats when i start feeling worried.
So here i was alone with carl and Judith because sadly Stein passed away. I help judith learn her basic knowledge y'know Abc's, numbers and all that good stuff.
When i felt Sam's heartbeat speed up. Which can only mean two things he's caught up in a bad situation producing adrenaline or he's home. I quickly channeled in on his emotions...
He's happy, Excited and a bit worried.
I ran to the door and when it opened Sam smiled at me and picked me up to spin me around i giggled.
He kissed me sweetly before he put me down.
"Never leave for more than three days." I tell him.
"I'm sorry, i had to get something very important."
"What item in this world did you need to get that is so important that it keeps you away from me more than three days." I said playfully pouting.
He rummaged through the pocket of his jacket and pulled out a black velvet box which held a beautiful ring.
"This." He said smiling.
"Sam...."
"I know we can only do so much as far as a wedding goes but i want to marry you. I've always loved you and i always will so. Will you (Y/n) (m/n) (l/n) do me the honor of accepting my hand in marriage?"
"Yes!!" He picked me up again and kissed me before he slipped the ring on my ring finger while everyone clapped.
I was so happy i some how channeled into Sam's excitement.
I felt all the excitement, happiness coursing through his veins and especially his love for me which melted my heart i began to cry tears of joy not able to believe all this happened to me. I never thought i'd be able to control my powers, never thought i'd be able to socialize with people....to fall in love and it happened.
"I love you so much you'll never understand how much." He said smiling
"Oh trust me i know." I giggle.
