Final
I was sitting.
Waiting.
The hospital seat was cold.
Or maybe I was cold.
I waited.
The nurse came in again to check on me. she said something.
"Lily,"
Her voice was faint in the distance.
"Lily,"
Was she even addressing me?
"Yes," I managed, "what is it?"
"The shock is wearing off," she smiled, "would you like to go home soon?"
"No," I dropped my head.
"Okay," the nurse left.
I felt alone again, the chilled tingles that ran down my back became spooky and I twitched my shoulders trying to shake them off.
The doctor came back, she hasn't been in for awhile. she sat down next to me and said with a faint airy voice.
"They found his body, he's in Australia at the hospital. "
"He's-"
Louis.
"Alive," the doctor smiled, "he's going to be fine."
