I was awaken by a sound of glass from the kitchen so I decided to take a peek
I looked at my cloch and it's still too early
Who on earth wakes up like this?
"eonnie? Why are you sleeping here?" I was startled to see jennie resting her head on the table
She looks restless
"I intended to wake up this early to cook for us but I ended up sleeping here " she answered wiping her face
"So what happen last night?" I asked and notice how she blushed
Did something good happen to her?
"oh? you're blushing" I teased her
"no I'm not" she refused
"So? What is it that it made you blush?" I asked
"Lisa? I think he's not that jerk after all" she shyly said
And I smiled.
"How can you say? you keep on calling him pathetic jerk and now you're saying he's not?" I asked staring at her
"as you see, he and I had a conversation last night and it went well. he's actually considerate " she explained as if she's reminiscing
"so? Is that a reason for you to say yes?" I asked but her face suddenly frown
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked" I apologized
"i mean he's good to be friend with but marrying him? " Her
"If I ended up marrying him, I'll consider that as if I am sacrificing for my family" she added and gave a deep sigh
"you can do it, we're always here for you!" I cheered
"Thank you lisa" she hugged
It pains my heart to see her making such decision
I just hope she gets what she truly deserve.

"the weather is so cool today, I like it this way" rosé stated stretching her arms
"what's keeping my coffee long? we've been waiting" I complained looking at the counter
"jennie? you seems usual today, are you not that affected anymore?"Jisoo asked
"Or? did what happen last night changed your decision?" Rosé teased
"come on not now"jennie
"you didn't even bother to share it, you went straight to your room" jisoo
" I am just tired last night, but yeah taehyung is not that bad actually"jennie responded
"this is the first time I'm seeing you smile while talking about him" rosé teased
"you usually look irritated when talking about him" I said
"nah.. he's just nice okay? "jennie
"oh? why am I seeing jk and jimin approaching us?" Rosé informed that made us all look at their direction
"what is it this time?" Jisoo
"hi" jk greeted
"hi, good morning" jimin
"hey" I greeted back
I noticed that jk looked at me so I looked at him back
"Where's taehyung by the way?" I asked
"um, he's not actually with us but he asked us to hand this to jennie" jimin explained giving the card to jennie
"ohhh, can we have a glimpse then?" I suggested but jennie refused
"I've gotta go" she said and made her way out

"what is it?" I asked as I approach him
I found him here at the rooftop
Refreshing his mind I guess.
"you've seen the note?" Taehyung asked facing me
"Obviously why I came here" I said
note: can we meet at the rooftop? i need to talk to you alone.
"did you receive the announcement today?" He asked but I shrugged my shoulder
"announcement from who?" I asked
"the company?"he answered
"I kept my contacts private so, I guess it is why they haven't reach out yet" I said
"They have set the date of the wedding already, hopefully I get to convince them to postpone" he explained which made my jaw dropped
"What?" I asked in disbelief
"i know this is surprising, your mom also want us to come together for the preparation" he added
"Wait, why am I knowing this just now? you could have messaged me
after receiving the announcement" I complained
"I don't have your contact" he responded
yeah.
"is that all?" I asked and he nod
"don't forget about tomorrow, I'll leave the address card on your desk later" he said and made his way through the door
"If you don't have anything to ask I'll leave "he said
"you're not the guy I have talked with last night, i thought I'm starting to feel comfortable with you" i admitted
he seems cold today, he's trying to ignore me
"Nothing I'm going down" he said but I insisted
"I'll go with you" I said and tried to stand next to him but he made a distance between us
"What are you doing?" He asked confused
"why? Is this too intriguing? walking beside the guy I'm Marrying?" I asked
there's something he can't blurt out
"if you want to be the talk of the school then i have no issue with it but knowing you? I know you hated attention so I'll go ahead" he said and leave.
And I'm left feeling stupid.

I made my way to the class to distract myself from what happen earlier..
I saw lisa and rosé bickering with each other
"i told you it's black!" Lisa
"it's green this time" rosé defended
"you look like you were robbed somewhere, what happened?" Jisoo asked when she saw me
Lisa and rosé stopped and faced us
"is it bad again?" Lisa
"nope, it's just that the wedding is already set" I said and rested my head on my desk
"That only means you're really going to get married"jisoo said and caress my back
"how can I even escape from this?" i cried silently
"hey taehyung! someone on the door is looking for you" I heard someone from the other class yelled looking for him
Does that mean he's already here?

"You look pale again" Lisa stated when I lift my head to look at who's calling for him
"Oh? isn't that nayeon?" Jisoo asked
Seems like jisoo knows me best.
"do they have some kind of relationship? " Lisa asked

"They actually look good together" lisa suddenly blurted which made all of us to look at her

"if they have something in between, how come he'll marry you?" Rosé

I can't be liking him
"That's impossible " I said and avoided their gaze
"Then why would you feel affected with them? " Rosé
"Did I ever tell you I am getting affected? I'm just curious" I stated
" But then if they happen to have something, how can he be so jerk for agreeing to this marriage?" I irritatedly said
"I mean i wouldn't cheat on my boyfriend if I was him" i added
"You're too suspicious" jisoo
" Anyway I have to head to class my time is running " I said and hurriedly leave them.

heck i only have a minutes before my class
I was about to enter the room but a guy bumped into me
Luckily I didn't fall
"I'm sorry" he apologized
I turned my head and saw this guy wearing a glass and holding his papers
"oh? I'm sorry"I apologized too
"are also in this class?" He asked smiling
He's familiar
"um yes, I'm actually about to be late" i admitted
"we're the same, I'm baekhyun " he introduced offering a hand shake
"Jennie"i said accepting his hand
"are you new?" he asked aw we both made our step toward our seat
It happens that he is sitting next to me

I was about to organize my things on my desk but a guy stood in front of us

Feeling Irritated, I walked at the gym to change my uniform
and I'll have to face that jerk again

soon, we've reached his car
"did mom ask you to look out for me?" I asked as he open the door

"Do you want me to call your dad?" je threatened

"That is not a threat, I'm giving you a choice" he replied looking like an arrogant
" Why do you always have a say" i irritatedly rolled my eyes and went inside the car
"Fasten your seatbelt, I don't anything bad happen to you" he teased and started the engine
"you're really bringing me to your home?" I asked
"I told you mom wants to have a dinner with you" taehyung
"You could've informed me earlier, I've prepared nothing" i complained
"you're speaking as if you're talking this marriage seriously when you asked me not to" he said
He's playing with me today
" you..." I couldn't say anything back
I'm tired of bickering with him
" what? Out of speech? you know what jennie you should learn when to stop" he advised
"Stop pretending to be tough" he added
"Coming from you" I whispered
"Have you given it a thought what will happen after our marriage?" he asked toning down
"What else? I'll be doing the things I'm used to" i said
Should I ask him about that girl?

"you'll be dating still the woman you choose " I added and notice how he frown
This is absurd
I'm Marrying someone who has his own choice
"Kim Taehyung? why didn't you refuse again? You have your woman waiting for you" I said but he didn't say anything
I gave a deep sigh and looked outside
He won't tell me a thing about her
This is heart burden
It feels heavy to see him doing this
I am sacrificing for my family
And he sacrifices himself for his family too, even if it is leaving nayeon

When we reach their house taehyung opened the car door for me
He pointed their entrance door and asked me to lead the way
" this is huge" I complimented
"not so" He said
I knocked thrice and waited for a minutes
Soon it opened
"Jennie? I'm really glad to have you here" his mom gladly welcomed me with a tight hug
"You came early" she added
"Jennie is not looking good enough to participate earlier so I took her here to have some of your cook" taehyung explained
"I'm sorry I didn't get to have something to give, taehyung informed me too late"I said
"you're enough jennie, let's get inside" his mom
His mom took me inside and we had some tour around
She showed me some albums.
She also made me tour inside Taehyung's
"Mom? Come on you don't have to" taehyung refuses
"what's there to be shy? She'll be your wife soon so you'll have to share her this" his mom

He looks uncomfortable
Maybe there some of their pics with her woman
"Ahm let's not force him, I think there's something he want to keep private"I teased

"Just bring her at the kitchen mom, she's not looking good anyway" he said and slam his door

"I'll be happy to share it with you" I smiled and bow
"Let's go" she said and lead the way
