Mutation: Invisibility, even though it doesn't matter
"____!" I jarred from my train of thought. Joy and Sadness would not be happy with me... I tucked a strand of my (h/l) hair behind my ear.
"What?"
Morph chuckled. "You've been zoning out." He winked. "Watcha distracted with?"
I rolled my eyes and lied, "Not you." Morph mocked offense and covered his mouth.
"Your sarcasm kills my soul." Kevin pretend to die. I rolled my (e/c) eyes. Wow. He chuckled and took a drink from his soda. I watched him, grinning back.
I started to zone out again. I snapped out of it, realizing now. "So Kevin," I started with a cheeky grin. "Wanna play questions?" Morph shifted. "Sure," he responded dragging out the r for far too long. I laughed. Questions, a game we played whenever we were bored. It was quite simple, really, we would just ask each other questions. We had done it together for so long, we just decided it was some game. Kevin started.
"Favorite animal?"
"Too easy. (F/a). Do you like elephants?"
Morph chuckled. "What kind of a question is that?" I shrugged. "Yep. What's your favorite lightsaber?"
"(Y/f/l)." I answered without hesitation. "How about yours?"
"Yellow. Do you... Like anyone?" I blushed. He smirked and asked "So who's the lucky guy?"
"One question, sir," I scoffed. "You?"
Morph paused. He blushed a bit but shook his head. My heart sunk. He asked in return, "So? Who?" I tried to think of someone. "Um, Logan?" I said though it sounded like a question. He laughed out loud. Morphing into Logan, he raised an eyebrow. "No chance I'm believing that, Bub." I sighed. "Fine. You win. You."
Morphing back, Kevin raised an eyebrow. "Wait. What?" He asked softly. "I um, like you too?"
Furrowing my eyebrows, I answered, "I thought you didn't like anyone."
"You're not just anyone." Morph quietly said. I blushed deep red "O-oh."
Kevin's awkward position shifted as I processed and slowly grinned. He smiled and took my hand in his. "What is your favorite hockey team?"
