What is non binary

So Non-Binary is where someone identifies as a gender that is not on the female or male binary spectrum, they have their own spectrum and pronouns. There are two umbrella terms; cis(the gender you were given at birth) and trans (a different gender than the one you were assigned at birth) non-binary people would technically fit into the "trans" umbrella. And as always, everyone's experience is different, I just want to share what I know.
