Every night, for the next week, Youngbin, Inseong, Dawon, and Chani would gather in the living room to watch the new episode or Dance or Band. Like the great people they are, Youngbin, Inseong and Dawon always voted for Chani's group after the show as they wanted their little brother and his friends to get what they deserved. Sometimes, Taeyang and Hwiyoung would also come over to watch the show with them. At school they became very popular and had many fangirls, who they always tried to escape from.
Although they met the band properly through the competition, the dance group boys still built quite a good relationship between them and the band. Occasionally, they would go out to have a meal together, or to play football.
The last episode was aired live and the two teams had their last performances before the result was announced. They performed original songs and dances which they choreographed or arranged. After that, they took a 30 minute break, waiting for the public to make their choice.
Both teams were nervous as each had a fifty-fifty chance of winning. The dance team held hands and the band team held hands. The mc took their time, building up the tension.
"And the winner of Dance or Band is..." Each team was shaking in anticipation.
"The dance team!"
Everyone in the dance team froze for a second as their minds tried to quickly absorb the information that was given to them. Not long after, they all began to jump in glee as they finally earned their chance to debut. They gave a thank you speech and the show ended.
Chani was amazed. He was so thankful that he managed to get this far.
When he got home he was welcomed by dishes upon dishes of food as a celebration.
A few weeks later, the dance team debuted as a group called SF9 and they had a very successful debut. Everyone loved them. Due to their schedule, Chani had to move out into the company dorm with the other boys.
Whilst they were promoting and such, the Kim residence received an unexpected visitor. She arrived in an expensive white car and stepped out with the help of her own butler.
Youngbin was the first to see her and when he did, his emotions consisted of something along the lines of sadness and anger.
The lady took off her sunglasses and smiled at him. "Hello Binnie! Long time no see, right?"
"Mom..." he trailed off.
