Welp I'm got a whole new idea for a new book and lord I stayed up late thinking about ideas.
I stayed up until 3:30 am because I had to find the perfect things for chapters ahead for this book then out of nowhere popped up another book idea so its going to be a Chris FanFic 🤷🏾♀️💗
Charisma POV:
"This is really nice Zen" Aunt Lauren looked around my house I had moved in as soon as I got the keys which was only in 2 days. I was here for a few weeks actually and I loved it. It was so peaceful
"Thank you I tried to make it feel and look like home it's took a lot of work" I sighed running my finger through my fro on my head I had just took out my hair a few days and and didn't want to do it to breath for a while before I decided on putting weave back in.
Smiling at the text I got from August I zoned out my Aunt talking to me and texted him back letting him know I was free for tonight.
We have been getting closer actually got to know something's about him and we hung out every chance we got. He was growing on me but it he had a wall built up he always had this "I'm tough act" on and I was willing to break it down to get to know the real August.
"Who has you all smiley lately" She questioned with a smile on her face
"Nobody" I said quickly making her chuckle at me
"You do know I know when your lying right?"
"So why ask if you knew already" I said raising my eyebrow with a smirk
"Who is he?" She asked softly smiling at me
"His name is August he's just a friend though so don't go smiling at me like that" I laughed "We been going out getting to get to know eachother"
"Bring him by for Sunday dinner yeah?" She asked
"Sure I'll see if he's up for it" And she nodded still smiling at me
"I'm happy that your finally happy" She said looking down and I knew what she was talking about making me sigh
"Me too took me awhile to get over it but as long as he away I'm okay Aunt Lauren" I said wiping the tears that rolled down my face
"It was hard seeing you like that you know Zen we almost lost you" She whispered and her voice cracked making my heart break I never liked seeing her cry she rarely cried but when she almost lost me that was the most I ever seen her cry.
"I thought I didn't have a choice"
"You should've came to talk to someone" She said softly "I would've believed you, I know you wouldn't have made something like that up"
"Can we please stop talking about it" I strained my voice at this moment I hated when someone brought this situation up it was something it never wanted to talk about again. EVER.
"I should get going I have to take Summer to the vet in a hour" She said talking about her Golden Retriever
"Okay Aunt Lauren love you" I hugged her and kissed her cheek and walked her to the door
"I'm sorry for bringing it-" I cut her off
"It's fine I know you meant nothing by it" I forced a smiled on my face I knew she knew it was fake but she said nothing
Once we said our goodbyes I went to the kitchen grabbing a tub of vanilla ice cream and pack of Oreos to go along with it.
Believe or not I was skinny at one point but once what happened to me with stuff in the past I looked for comfort food and gained a lot of weight.
Don't get me wrong I love my body it's not bad I love being plus sized girl I am but it's what has happened to my body it what I hate. He did it and I hated him for it he took something that every girl treasure I got it taken I didn't have a choice on who I wanted to give my virginity too.
Jumping out of my thoughts as my phone rung seeing it was August making me smile at bit even though I was down.
"Hey August"
"Wassam you aight?" He asked concerned
"I'm-" I blew a breath "I'm fine" It was like I was forcing myself to say it
"You'on sound like it" He said
"You don't have to worry about me" I snapped out of nowhere
"Charisma where you at ma" He asked calmly not reacting to me snapping
"Home" I said and he hung up making me roll my eyes.
Within a few minutes he was here ringing the doorbell.
"Yes August?" I asked sarcastically as I opened the door.
"Charisma stop playin' wit' me" He said looking directly in my eyes making me opened the door wider closing it after he walked in.
He took off he shoes and hug his coat up in the closet and set his hat on top of his coat.
Sitting on the couch I sat quietly as he watched ESPN.
"So you gon' tell me why you was snappin' on me?" He asked not taking his eyes off the tv
"I'm sorry" I said wiping my tears and they fell this is why I hated when the situation was brought up I felt so weak especially when it was years ago.
"Char baybeh why you cryin'." He asked
"It's N-Nothing" I shook my head not turning my head to look at him but he did it using his hands he made me look directly at him
"Why you cryin' Char" He asked making me sigh I knew he wasn't going to quit until I told him
"When I tell you this I want you to promise you won't judge me or look at me different" I said looking directly into his eyes
"I promise" He held my hands which made me feel some type of comfort
"When I was 10 my um" I cleared my throat feeling as if it was tightening
"Baybeh if you don't want ta' tell me you ain't got to" He rubbed over my knuckles in a soothing matter noticing how uncomfortable I was
"No, not it fine" I shook my head and took a breath "When I was 10 my uncle started molesting me" I felt him tense up under me "He would come over my house all the time ya know, Claimed his girlfriend at the time put him out so he started to stay with up a few days and when my mom went to sleep that's when he would come into my room it happened for 3 years" My voice cracked and tears rolled down my face as I continued "It stopped only because my Uncle Mark had stopped by and using my Aunt key to get something. He heard my screams beating him up until he was unconscious calling the cops" I was sobbing at this point while August held me
"You ain't gotta say no more" He tried to get me to stop from continuing the story
"I have to finish it, I have to get this off my chest" I wiped my tears and started fiddling with my fingers "I tried committing suicide twice we he started" I saw his jaw clench "The first time I tired hanging my self but couldn't go all the way through with it the second time I cut myself and was planning to bleed out when I was over at my Aunt house but my Aunt saved me" I told him showing him the long scar on my forearm hoe looked down at it for a while before he lifted my arm up to kiss it "That's when I started acting out running away, not doing well in school I tried giving my mom signs but she would be so into work she never actually paid enough attention. "
"You still smart and beautiful Charisma this shit only gon' make you stronger ya heard me?" He said wiping a tear that fell "If you need ta' cry Ima be hea' I ain't goin' nowhere." He said he looked down at my lips then looked up at me I nodded in response and leaned forward closing the space between us he kissed my softly then pulled away.
The way he kissed me I don't know it gave me butterflies. I never felt that with anybody I kissed.
"You gon' be aight I got chu" He said as I laid on his lap I was exhausted
"You tied?" He asked I nodded and he played in my hair making me hard for me to stay up at this point
"Night baybeh" He whispered I heard before drifting off to sleep
