Alexandria is a witch; vampire hybrid, born a syphon witch and later turned against her will, she is the last of what they call a 'Heretic'. She came to New Orlean's captured and in a cell, however, she was rescued when her captor, 'Lucian' is killed.
Alexandria, being rescued by the Mikaelson's is then under their protection. Under the attack of Marcel, she attempts to keep the Kings of the Quarter from raging war and slaughtering each other.
