"This is the dumbest thing I have ever had to do." I muttered with crossed arms.

Paris shook her head as she continued to dig through my closet. "I mean...you kind of do need anger management... "

"No I don't." I snapped.

She turned around and raised an eyebrow at me. "Really?"

"Yes, really. Why the hell are you trying to find me an outfit to go to a therapy session?"

"Uh, I'm looking for my shirt. I left it in here the other day and I need it." She mumbled as she continued to rummage through my messy closet.

"Just use one of mine."

Paris turned around and sent me a glare. "Excuse you but not everyone is skinny in this world."

I looked over my best friends figure, knowing well that she couldn't fit my clothes.

Paris was, well on the plus side. She wasn't fat but she wasn't skinny EITHER, she was curvy as most would say. She had black, curly, shoulder length hair, gray eyes, and she wore glasses.

"Right. Sorry." I apologized quickly before getting off of my bed and going to my closet.

I grabbed a pair of light denim jeans and a grey sweatshirt that said 'RUTHLESS' on it. I slipped out of my current outfit and put on the clothes, catching Paris starring in awe at me.

"Damn, I need your body. It's not fair." She pouted.

I rolled my eyes while pulling my hair out of my sweatshirt. "You look fine, Paris."

"Uh huh. Sure I do." She rolled her eyes and turned back around to continue looking for her shirt.

"Hope, are you ready to go?" My dad popped his head into my room.

"Yeah." I sighed and grabbed my black beanie, slipping it on and leaving my room with Paris following behind me.

When we got to the living room Paris fell onto the couch beside my other dad as my other...other dad walked out of the apartment. I have to start calling them different names when I'm mentioning both of them.

I'll just call them by their first games for now.

"Are you sure you don't want to come, Josh?" Tyler asked Josh for the final time.

"Yeah, go have fun without me. I have Paris for company." He waved off Tyler, not taking his eyes off of the TV.

I glared at the back of his head, "I know you did not just call this fun."

"Oh but I did. Now go before you're late."

I groaned before slipping on my gray vans that came past my ankle.

"Bye Josh and Paris!" I yelled as I walked out of the apartment before Tyler caught up with me.

"Did you just Call Josh...Josh?" He asked slowly with a frown.

"Yes I did, Tyler." I pushed the button to go down on the elevator and waited for the doors to open.

"You call us 'dad', not our names." His frown grew deeper and I only shrugged.

"It's confusing. I'll call you by your real names until I figure out what to call you permanently." I entered the elevator with Tyler following me before watching the doors close in front of us. I hit the first floor button and waited for the elevator to stop moving before the doors reopened and we got off.

I walked through the front doors of the building and made my way to Tyler's car, getting into the passengers seat after he unlocked the doors, getting in himself.

We drove in silence to the stupid therapy center. Once we arrived my anger suddenly came back when I realized why I was here.

I got out of the car and forcefully slammed my door shut and walked beside Tyler into the building.

The walls were painted a light gray and there were meaningless posters everywhere I looked.

A long desk stretched from the wall to the beginning of a hall and behind it a lady smiled politely.

"Hey, Tyler. I haven't seen you around here in a while. What can I do for you?" She bit her pen as she looked at my dad with this glint in her eyes that made me want to gag.

"My daughter is attending the anger management group thing..." Tyler trailed off, clearly uncomfortable.

"Oh, we call it AMGT here. Anger Management Group Therapy." She batted her eye lashes and Tyler nodded.

I rolled my eyes at the lady's horrible flirting, deciding to cut in. "For the love of God. Could you just tell us where to go?!"

The lady faced me, shock clear on her face. "Well I've never-"

"Look lady, tell us where to go and stop putting on an act for my married father. I frankly don't want to be here and you're only making the feeling grow stronger." I finished off my little speech with an eye roll.

Tyler quickly spoke up, "Vivan, I'm sorry for her behavior."

"It's fine. Just go down the hall and it's the third door on the left." The lady muttered out.

Tyler pulled me down the hall and we silently walked, following Vivian's directions.

Tyler opened the door and pushed me inside before closing it and I caught a glimpse of him walking down the hall before he disappeared from my line of view. I glared at the door before turning around.

A circle of chairs was in the center of the room, most of which were occupied by someone. From the looks of it they were all different ages. A middle aged woman was standing up, walking around the chairs animatively talking.

I took a deep breath before walking forwards and clearing my throat.

The older woman stopped talking and looked at me with a wide grin.

"Hello there! You must be Hope!" She cheerily said in a high pitched voice. Oh god, I already couldn't stand her.

"Yeah, hi." I gave her a tight smile before walking further into the room. I then realized all of the people sitting down were starring at me.

"Welcome to AMGT! I'm Angie." Her cheeriness was giving me a headache.

"Are you always this...perky?" I asked.

"Perkiness is good, hon." She smiled before walking up to me and patting me on the shoulder.

"No, perkiness is annoying." I said in a fake cherry tone before patting her on the shoulder, mocking her pervious actions.

Her grin slightly faltered but it still remained on her face. "Take a seat."

I grunted before looking for an empty seat. There were four out of twelve seats that were empty out of all of them. One beside a girl who looked to be around thirteen maybe, another girl who looked slightly younger than me, a younger boy who looked super nice and out of place, and a boy who looked to be about my age who had a stony expression masked across his features.

I decided to sit beside the girl who looked to be about thirteen. I walked to the chair and plopped down beside her nodding my head in acknowledgement to the people around me.

"Hope, why don't you stand in the middle of the circle and introduce yourself." Angie spoke up from behind my chair, scaring me due to her sudden appearance.

"She does that a lot, you'll get used to it." The girl I was sat beside waved her hand dismisfally.

I nodded, "Got it."

"Well, Hope, Introduce yourself." Angie pushed and I glared at her.

"What is this, kindergarten?" I asked with a roll of my eyes.

"Hope, please."

"I'm going." I sighed and stood up. "My name's Hope Dun...or Hope Joseph. I don't really care which one you use. I'm in twelfth grade, I paint, play drums, ukulele, guitar, trumpet, and piano. My dads taught me how to play all of the instruments though." I finished and sat back down.

One of the boys scooted to the edge of his seat and stared at me for a while before he gasped.

"Oh my god! Hope Valarie Dun! Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun's adopted daughter, no way!" He excitedly began to squirm in his seat and I rolled my eyes at his excitement.

"I can tell you're a fan of Twenty One Pilots." I muttered out.

"Hell yeah I am!" He unzipped his jacket revealing his shirt that represented my dads' band.

"My dad, Tyler, is out in the waiting room if you-" I didn't get to finish my sentence before he was on his feet and running out of the room.

"Idiot." I heard someone scoff under their breath.

The boy who had the stone expression on his face was shaking his head at the boy who had ran out of the room before he looked up and caught me staring.

"What?" He barked out at me.

"Nothing, chill." I rolled my eyes when he turned his head but I couldn't help but to continue to stare at him.

Something tells me there's a lot he's hiding under that stony expression. I want to find out what it is, all of it.

Woop, second chapter. Who is this mysterious, stony character, hmm?

I like this so far, I think I'll get through the whole book.

Very short authors note for once, by guys.
