10 years later.....
She looked at herself at her mirror and smile; she put her hands on her chest and can feel her heartbeat getting faster and faster
“Kristine relax” She told herself and tries to calm down; she took deep breaths and finally felt herself calm down. She put her hands on her lap and brushes softly her purple gown which flows majestically below her knees and almost touches the floor, she took her brush and started to brush her hair with it so she could distract herself from feeling nervous.
A knock on the door was heard and moments later Daniel entered her daughter’s room
“Hey Daddy” She greeted and stood up so she could welcome her father, Daniel smiled upon seeing her beautiful daughter
*She looks exactly like her mother* Daniel thought and smiles
“So how do I look?” Kristine asked as she turned around slowly in front of her father showing off her purple gown
“Beautiful as ever” Daniel said as he offers his hands to her now 16 years old daughter to take
“Thanks Daddy” Kristine smiled and took Daniel hands and went for a hug
They stayed like that for a minute and then broke the hug, unknown to Kristine a tear fell down her eyes and into her rosy cheeks
Daniel notice Kristine’s tear and wiped it away gently with his thumb
“Why are you crying my princess?” Daniel asked
“I just miss Mom” She said then forced a smile and wiped her tears as well, Kristine closed her eyes and felt the warm hands of his father touches her cheeks full of love and comfort
“I know I miss her too” Daniel said and again pulled Kristine for another hug of comfort
His thought we’re broken when two 10 year old boys entered the room wearing their tux looking sleek and clean.
“Happy Birthday Big Sis” Ralph and Matthew said in Unison
“Awww.. Thanks guys, now mind giving your big sister a hug” Kristine teased and approached her brothers
“What! No Way” The both said in unison and started to run away from Kristine
“Aww..But it’s my birthday” Kristine said then pouts at the two boys then give her famous puppy dog eyes
"Pretty Please With Cherries On top"
She added as she flutters her eyes and pleaded the two boys
The boys looked at each other and sighed in defeat
“Fine” The both said as they dragged their feet and went towards Kristine
Kristine can’t wait further so she run towards the boys and hug them tightly
“Daddy, she’s killing us” The two screamed as they look at their father who seems to be enjoying the moment
“Is there room for one more?” Daniel asked but not bothering to hear a reply since he was already joined the group hug
“HELLLPPP!!!” The two boys scream at the top of their lungs then a knock was heard from the door and came in Roanna
“What are you doing?” She asked her hands on her waist as she examined his brother with his children’s whose clothes now are a little crumpled
“Sorry Auntie but Our Big Sister Kristine forces us to hug her!” The boys explained as they brush their tuxes and try to straighten it up
“And how about you huh, Baby Daniel” Roanna asked her eyes raised a brow
“They asked for it” Daniel replied unsurely making Roanna looked at Kristine
“Hey don’t blame me Auntie it’s my birthday” She said and smiled sweetly
“Aish! Fine, you boys get out, and you let’s fix you up again shall we” Roanna said and Kristine nodded happily.
The boys have no choice but to go out and leave the two girls alone…Roanna guided Kristine back to the dresser so she could fix her makeup and hair as she was doing so she notice the weak smile on Kristine’s face
“Princess what’s wrong?” She asked worriedly as she continues to comb her hair.
“I just wish my mom is here” She replied
“Baby you know your mommy also wants to be here with you, it’s not every day a daughter turns 16 you know” She replied and puts the brush down and looked at Kristine by the mirror
“I know but I just missed her so badly” She said sadly and let out a sigh after
“We miss her too” Roanna said Kristine was about to reply when a knock on the door interrupted her, Roanna went to the door and opened it revealing a very handsome 16 year old man name Nathan
“Tita Roanna it’s time” He said politely Roanna smiled and let Nathan entered Kristine’s room
“Nathan” Kristine said as soon as she saw Nathan entered the room by her mirror she stood up so she could welcome him.
Nathan was speechless once he saw Kristine; He never thought that Kristine could even get more beautiful than she already was
Kristine and Nathan stayed best friend after all this year’s unknown to Kristine , her best friend is in love with her and so those she to him.
“Wow” was the only word escaped from Nathan’s mouth
“That’s all your going to say huh Mr. Arriola, No Happy Birthday Kristine,” She joked
“Happy Birthday Princess Kristine” Nathan manage to say as she bowed down in front of her took her right hands and kissed it gently
“Ahem” Roanna interrupted making the two blushed
“Shall we go” Roanna said happily as she opened the door
And the two only nods in agreement. Nathan offered his arms to Kristine and she shyly took them and locked her arms with his and exited her room.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, I proudly present to you my Daughter, Kristine Bernardo Padilla” Daniel started and to that the people started clapping and a spotlight as seen above the majestic staircase where Kristine and Nathan were has been spotted.
Slowly Nathan guided Kristine down the stairs as Kristine flashes her smile for everyone to see.
When they reached the end of the stairs Daniel offered his hand to her daughter which Kristine happily took and guided her to the center of the stage.
Kristine took the microphone away from Daniel and started her speech.
“Good evening and Thank You everyone fo coming to my 16th Birthday , Specially to my father who insist to have this party even though I keep nagging him not too make a big deal but obviously he didn’t listen to me” Kristine said then paused as the crowd started to laugh a little
“To my Auntie Roanna who put up with my father on organizing this party” She continued and once again the audience laughed at her remarks.
"To my little brothers who surpinsgly didn't do anything bad today, Thanks Guys" She sai d the let our a laugh making the two boys blush in embarassment.
“And the only thing is missing now is my Mom” When she said that the lights turned off

“I'm here” a voice interrupted
10 years ago….
“Roanna” Daniel said her name softly and looked at her
“Kath..Kath ..She..” Roanna was saying Daniel prepared himself even he doesn’t want to hear those hurtful words
“Tell Me Roanna” Daniel said to her or rather demanded his voice sounds weak and tired
“Daniel…. Kath she’s alive and she needs you right now, they need you” Roanna stated
Upon hearing those words he’s face light up and he stood up immediately and started to run after thanking Roanna for the good news
“She’s in the room 4008” Roanna shouted hoping Daniel would hear
He stopped his tracks in front of her room and breathes deeply ever so slowly he opened the door
And there in the bed sits the love if his life, his air, his everything he’s Kathryn Bernardo holding his new treasures his sons
He approached her slowly he never felt so happy seeing her
“Daniel” She said softly and smiled as she returns her boys to one of the nurses so she could put it back to the crib
“You’re alive” He said not minding that he just stated the obvious before Kath could reply he run to her and hugged her tightly
“I promised I won’t let go right” she whispered in his ear

“Mom!” Kristine said in delight and to that a spot light was focused on Kath’s who is at the end of the hallway
“In the flesh, Happy birthday My Princess” Kath said as she made way to her daughter wearing one her her designed clothes looking so beautiful... And Daniel smiled from ear to ear upon seeing her lovely wife.
Kristine dropped her microphone and with no hesitation went and hug her mother who she missed dearly...
“Surprised” Daniel said as he appear behind them
“But I thought your stuck in New York” Kristine asked as she broke the hug and look at her mother
“Did you forget I have my own plane” Kath said and smiled the gave a wink to her daugther which made Kristine laugh a little
“Plus I can’t afford to be with you on your birthday it was my turn to bake the cake you know” Kath continued and let out a laugh at the end.
After their moment the party begun..
Kristine and Nathan was dancing in the middle of the dance floor , she looked around and felt happy, it was the best birthday so far and she knows it well,
She eyed her Auntie Roanna whose dancing happily with her husband Patrick, Amy was dancing with his boyfriend.
She saw his Tito Neil danicng with his wife.. he finally settled in and got married with her wife Yen (yeah, DJ's Secretary :D) and now has a 8 year old kid and expecting another one anytime soon
He saw his brothers with A.J which is Julia’s and Diego’s child fighting for Diane, which is Kiray’s and EJ’s Daughter.
That scene made her laugh since it looks like A.J is winning since he is older than her brothers.
Daniel's Friends are also there Katsumi,Sed,JC,Mycko and Lester who will gonna sing for Kristine's Birthday,ofcourse Invited by His really Proud Daddy Daniel :D
She saw her Tita’s and Tito’s dancing as well EJ with Kiray and Diego with Julia then she spotted her mother and father who after all these years remained in love with one another or is it even possible they love grew more and more which made Kristine happy.
“Hey are you okay?” Nathan interrupted her thoughts
“Huh yeah, I’m just happy” Kristine replied and smiled
“Care to share me why?Is it because your're dancing with one of the most handsome man in the room” He teased which made Kristine give him a death glare
“You’re so conceited” She replied and slapped his chest palyfully then let out a laugh after seeing Nathan Pout
“Then why?” He asked
“I just realize when I want to get married I want a marriage like my parents full of love” She explained showing her dreamy eyes and Nathan can’t help but to smile back as well
“I could give you that and more” He replied not knowing that he just said that out loud
“huh what did you say?” Kristine asked as she eyes him confusingly
“Uhh nothing” He replied and flashed his dimple smile hoping that Kristine didn’t hear that but unknown to him Kristine did heard it
*I’ll wait for that Nathan* She thought happily and gave Nathan a warm smile as they continue to dance the night away as she put her head on Nathan chest and closed her eyes and continue to feel the warmth he’s giving.

“Look at them, they’re so perfect for each other” Kath said as she rests her head on Daniel chest as they dance through the slow song.
“I don’t like it, that boy is getting too close to my princess” Daniel replied as he continue to look at Nathan and Kristine
“Daniel , don’t be like that, Nathan is a nice boy” Kath explained
“Even though,My princess is too young to have a boyfriend” He stated as he continue to look or rather keep an eyes to her daughter, Kath noticed Daniel was not paying attention to her so she decided to leave
“Hmmpp.. I don't think you even miss me, If you will just continue to watch over your daughter all night then I rather leave” Kath said and took a step back away from Daniel
Daniel broke his gaze and looked at his pouting wife with her hands crossed over her chest
*She's too cute, when she's upset* He thought
“Sorry Babe” Daniel said as she pulled Kath back to his arms
“You better be and here I was about to tell you that you might get your Daniel Jr. soon” She said which made Daniel eyes widened after hearing her.
“You mean? You’re pregnant?” He asked
“5 weeks babe” Kath said and winked then wraps her hands over her neck
“Really” He asked in disbelief and Kath only manage to giggle and nod
“Want to make another set of twins?” Daniel asked and before Kath could even reply he carried Kath in bridal way and into their room upstairs not minding if someone saw them or not.
As they went to their room Daniel locked the door and laid Kath gently to their bed
He towered above her and smiled
"I'm glad I got the chance to Spend A LIFE WITH YOU" Daniel said then gave Kath a quick peck in the lips
"Then get ready to Spend a lifetime with me" She replied then pulled Daniel closer to her and Kissed him quickly
"Glady" He replied
and to that he started to kiss her all over her face from
her forhead
her eyes
her nose
her cheeks
then he stopped and looked at her his eyes full of love and lust
“I love You”
He said before Kissing her sweet lips he missed so much with so much passion
“ I love you too”
She replied after their broke their kiss, she put her arms around his neck
To that they started to make love, well you know what I mean..
Like they LOVE each other after all this years ;)
