Selena's POV
The house was quiet, which is very unusual. The guys were out at the shooting ranch. Jasmine and Ariana had gone to town, but I was not really feeling it today. I just wanted to stay home with Scarlett. While Vanessa and Zac was one some kind of date, she's going to tell Zac today about the child.
"Sleep tight babygirl" I said and kissed Scarlett on her chubby cheek one last time. Before going out of her nursery room.
I made sure to grab the baby monitor before going out.
"What to do now" I mumble to myself, deciding for cleaning a little bit and maybe bake something after. As I was about to start with the dish the phone rang.
"Wonder who that could be" I made a confused face, nobody usually calls on this phone.
"Hello this is Selena" I said
"Oh hi.. hello" I heard a light and calmed voice say
"Who is this?" I asked
"Oh I'm sorry, how rude of me. My name is Pattie... Patricia Bieber."
"Oh my.. hello Mrs Bieber" I said shocked
"No dear, call me Pattie. I was not sure if somebody even would answered . Justin is very strict with this" She explained
"Well Pattie, I'm very surprised. This is the first time I talk to Justin's mother." I replied
"You're Justin's girlfriend, right Selena?" She asked
"Yes I'm his girlfriend, why's that?"
"Well there is this party, or a little gathering for me actually. It's my birthday this friday. And I was calling to invite Justin and you Selena. Of course, his friends are also invited. The more the merrier" She giggled, although she may be in her forties, she sounds so young.
"Of course Pattie, we will come the whole family. It's your birthday after all" I assured her
"Oh really? I was afraid Justin wouldn't approve of that" She said unsure
"No no of course he will come along, I promise " I said
"Well then it's settled, I'll see you on friday around 11 ish. And we'll start with a brunch." She replied
"Yes of course, can't wait to finally meet you Pattie" I smiled
"Neither can I sweetie, you seem like a perfect match for my boy" She said
"Well I'll see you then Pattie, bye"
"Bye honey, take care" She replied
"You too" I replied before hanging up
Well that was something, he never talked about his family. If he ever did, it was only bad things to say. But I can't really agree on that, because his mother was very nice.
"Babygirl we're home" I heard Justin say from the foyer, he stepped in to our greeting/living room where I was
"Hi there" I said when I saw Justin walking to me "Hey princess" He said and sat beside me pulling me into his lap "What have you bee up to babe" he asked. I saw the rest of the boys walking to the kitchen
"Not much, but I got an interesting phone call" I looked at him "Really now, who could that be?" he asked
"Well she was very nice, and I liked her. Her name is Pattie, you may know her" I gave him a look, I notice how he tensed. His arms around me became very tight.
"Why did she call?" He asked almost in disgust
"Actually she invited us to a gathering, and I of course said yes. We can't miss her birthday" I explained
"Of course. We are not going" He snarled "Of course we are" I decided "And there's nothing you can do about it"
"Really nothing, I believe there is something. You don't control me Selena" He snorted
"You are going Justin, or else I'm leaving you" I tested
"You are so not. You belong to me Selena. Forever" He argued
"Oh so you have the rights to control me, nah I don't believe so Justin. You are coming with us, that's it." I said last and stod up from his lap walking to the stairs
"We're not done here Selena" I heard him say behind me. I ignored him.
I walked past our bedroom and Scarletts, looking inside Drew's which is opposite Scarlett's
"Hey buddy" I said and walked in. He is playing with his cars, many cars. "Hi mommy" He took a look at me before going back to his cars.
"Did you have fun with daddy" I asked and sat beside him watching him play
"Yeah it was really cool, I wanna do that when I grow up" He said exited
"Oh really then you gonna have to get big and strong, so you don't hurt yourself" I teased him
"I will mommy, I'm gonna be the strongest" He explained
"Well then honey we need to get you something to eat, that's how you get strong you know" I replied "Okay mom, but can we eat outside?" He asked
"Yes of course everything for my prince" I winked at him taking his hand in mine "Then you gonna have to be my princess mommy" He smiled "Absolutely baby" I laughed with him
We both walked down the stairs, I saw Justin still sitting where I left him. I ignored him once again even though he heard our presence.
"Are daddy mad mommy?" Drew asked quietly
"No baby he's just being bad, so he's having some time out" I explained and I was sure Justin was listening which made it funny.
"Oh okay, time outs are very boring mommy" He commented "Yes I know sweetie, but sometimes that's what you get when you are bad" I replied
"Come on, let's leave daddy alone" I took his had once again and led us out to the kitchen
"Can I have bacon in mine mommy, I love bacon" He said excited
"Sure baby, but then you got to promise me you'll eat the vegetable also" I teased "Yes mommy, I promise" He smiled at me
"Then let's make sandwich baby boy" I cheered
Justin's POV
I will never forgive my family, not a chance. Hell, they can forget that. And now trying to be a family again, inviting my new family. I'm utterly disgusted. Heartless bastards
I'll need to talk to Selena, she needs to know.
I saw them sitting outside by the pool table.
"Hi daddy" Drew said when he saw me "Hi buddy, are you enjoying your sandwich?" I asked and stopped when I reached the table.
"Yes very much" He nodded "Have you thanked your mother" I asked sternly. He stopped chewing and looked down ashamed "Thank you mommy" He said
"I love you so much Drew" Selena replied, he lifted his head again and smiled at her "I love you very much too mommy" He grinned
"I need to talk to you Selena" I broke in "Can't you see that I'm eating with my son Justin" She said with an attitude
"Not that tone with me Selena" I growled "Not here Justin" She replied eyeing me
I gave her a look to meet me in my office when she's done, before walking away, kissing Drew on the head.
I hate arguing with her, that's worse than being in jail. I haven't been there yet, but everything is so much worse when Selena are involved.
