As they walked to the lab, the unsettling feeling in Frisk's stomach only grew. It seemed as if her paranoia and anxiety had a voice. It was like if Frisk was arguing with herself.
'You know who it is, so why not tell G and Undyne?' The voice said.
'No, they're better off not knowing.' Frisk replied.
'You already know what's going to happen if they catch you, so why are you going with them anyway? You're just a burden to them.'
'Stop it.'
'No! You're useless to them! All you've done is create more trouble.'
'I said stop!'
'Do you really think they care about you, Frisk? G only likes you because you saved Kitten.'
"STOP!" Frisk screamed, her hands flying to her temples. Both Undyne and G looked at her worriedly as she curled up into a ball on the ground.
"....Frisk?" G said softly. No cigar. "Hey, punk." Undyne tried. No reaction. Kitty waddled over. "Fwisk?" She mumbled, concern in her voice. But not even the cuteness could snap Frisk out of the daze she was in. All they heard were her muffled sobs and she squeezed her eyes shut.
After a moment, G just shrugged and picked her up, holding her in his arms. She was still crying. They continued to the lab, G holding Frisk and Undyne holding Kitty.
Soon after, Frisk had passed out. Undyne checked to see if she was still breathing, and after they made sure she wasn't dead, they started walking once again.

Meanwhile, in Frisk's dream, she was chained up. "Someone! Please help me!" She screamed, but after a while, nobody came. (A/N: heheheh) After enduring endless struggling, a voice finally spoke. A familiar, eerie voice.
"Let's see, shall we?" They spoke.
Frisk froze and memories of her and them flooded back.
"Let's see how much you've stopped them from succeeding."
A small screen appeared in front of Frisk. It was the night when she met G. He shrugged off Frisk questions, and she saw the anger in his eyes when she wouldn't cooperate.
It flashed then to each attack, and how she was powerless to stop them.
She looked at the screen for a very long time before speaking.
"This...isn't what happened," Frisk spoke in a soft voice.
It wasn't. Frisk remembered each event with G as clear as glass. She wasn't powerless, she did stop the monsters, and G hadn't been mad at her that day they met.
"What?" They asked, voice raised in suspicion.
"They're...illusions..." Frisk continued, looking at the screen in amazement. What she saw was another Frisk, helpless and weak, getting almost killed. "I outsmarted each monster I've encountered. Which means you....you're lying."
They only laughed. "Did it take you that long to figure that out, Frisk? The clips may be illusions, but think again the next time you're having a fun time with your 'friends'..."
Frisk's confident smile fell as she listened to them cackle.
"See you soon, Frisk....."

G sighed before Frisk sat up at an alarming pace, causing G to drop her.
She yelped when she hit the ground, looking around her. "W-Where am I?" she asked, voice confused.
Panic seized G, who assumed she lost all memory of them. Undyne kneeled down in front of Frisk and gave her friend a warm hug. "It's okay, everything is fine now..." she said in a calm voice. "Those were just dreams. This is reality. You're safe."
Frisk stared at Undyne in awe. How did she know exactly what Frisk was going through? Did Undyne have nightmares?
She looked up at G, who was staring at her intensely. It made Frisk extremely uncomfortable as she stood up and looked at him in the eyes.
He punched her lightly in the shoulder. "You dork." he said, laughing. Soon, a crooked smile placed itself on Frisk's face as she laughed with him.
She turned to Undyne. "I'm so...sorry....I've just been a burden....I-" She was cut off when Undyne placed a finger on her mouth. "Apologize for nothing." She said, a smile slowly creeping onto her face. "Besides," she said, gesturing to her left, "We're here."
Frisk looked up at the lab. It glistened in artificial perfection. She hoped that they changed it since they were there, but it was exactly the same.
A pit of fear lay in her stomach as she faked a smile. "Wow! It looks great." She forced out. Undyne looked at her skeptically, only for a second, before smiling. "Right?" On the inside, it's all science-y, Alphys barely ever sleeps. One time...." Undyne was saying, but Frisk zoned out as the memories flooded back.
Binds.....the binds were too tight......
Their laughter as Frisk's wrist bled.......
The mauve animal head as they strapped her in.....
The kicks she received when she didn't-
"Frisk?"
G was looking at Frisk, who was taking steps away from the lab.
She snapped back to reality and gulped. "Let's...let's go see Alphys...." she said, the fear in her voice barely noticeable.
G was shocked that Undyne hadn't noticed Frisk was terrified, but their fish friend was too giddy about seeing the scientist.
They crossed the bridge, Kitty piggybacking on Frisk. It calmed her knowing that Kitty was there, but also giving her a boost of determination knowing that she would protect Kitty before herself.
G rapidly knocked on the door and Frisk heard crashing before the door opened. A short, yellow lizard (A/N: Is she a lizard or a dinosaur?) with glasses and a lab coat stood in front of them. She noticed Undyne first.
"U-Undyne!" She exclaimed, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. "A-And G...This m-must be Kitty..." She murmured to herself, taking everyone in.
She locked eyes with Frisk and her eyes widened. "H-How did you g-get out?!" She screamed, terrified. Undyne and G both looked at Frisk in shock, who was frozen.
Frisk remembered when the lizard came. It was when they were still around. They introduced her to all of the experiments, including Frisk, before she left. That was the only time she met Alphys, and apparently, Alphys remembered her.
"You know Frisk?" Undyne said, worried. Alphys looked at her, then G. She then stared at Frisk, who was looking at her in shock, and a silent conversation passed between them.
(A/N: Underline for Alphys and Italic for Frisk.)

Alphys fixed her glasses. "That's impossible...no....you must just look like them a lot." Her act was really impressive on how confused she was, since both G and Undyne bought it.
"Come in, Come in!" She said, shifting to the side so they could pass. When she met Frisk's eyes again, they read: Upstairs.
Frisk nodded. "Where is the bathroom?" She asked Alphys in mock confusion. Alphys caught on. "Oh! It's upstairs! I'll show you!" As they both went up the escalator, Frisk risked a glance at G. He was staring at her intently, as if he knew she was up to something.
Once they reached the top, Alphys' anxious persona wore off.
"Explain."
