endangered trails were there--
swooning with edge and threads--
i knew no boundaries so i
made to decide and trailed
the vestiges of might
following the track
was meant to be--
foot to foot and trace to trace
i measured it with tape
and glued it with mine
it fitted the holes and shafts--
and enjoying was i--did i
stayed to wait the man
who painted his foot
on the endangered track.
