The next day came around and Maya went with her parents to see Emma and talk about what to do next with Zelena. Regina and Hook were supposed to show up as well. They all sat there silently for a while before David looked to Maya who was sitting in a chair playing with a necklace she had found with an arrow on it.
Eventually Regina walked in and they started to talk about the plan not taking a chance to wait for Hook. They weren't sure how Zelena got to Storybrooke or why their memories were taken. Reina believed the key to defeating her was to get Henry to remember. At first Emma was hesitant but she eventually agreed. So they decided to look for the book.
Belle didn't have it in the shop so Mary Margaret said they should look where she found it the first time. In her closet. They walked through Granny's and Emma told Henry to stay there as they walked out.
"Where are you really going?" Henry asked.
"I told you. I'm following a lead." Emma said turning to him as the rest of them did as well.
"What lead?" Henry asked.
"It's my job. It's complicated." Emma answered.
"Is this about the person who killed my dad?" Henry asked seeming a bit uneasy.
"Yes." Emma sighed.
"Then tell me." Henry said looking to Emma.
"I-It would just be easier once it's solved, Henry." Emma said looking to him.
"You've been lying to me ever since we got here." Henry said looking to his mom. "I deserve to know everything." He said looking to Maya as Emma did the same. I mean she basically told him that what Emma was doing was stupid.
"No you don't!" Emma said looking at Henry. "I'm your mother and I know best so you're just going to have to deal with this for a little while okay? Understood?" She asked looking at him.
"Yeah I think I do." Henry said as Emma began to walk away. Before they left Emma gave Henry her keys so he could get into the room.
Regina went in her car and the rest of them went in Davids trucks and drove to the apartment. "Why did Henry look to you when he said he deserved to know everything?" Emma asked as she sat next to Maya.
"Because we talked about the case when you left us with Hook." Maya said looking to her sister.
"What did you tell him Maya?" Emma asked angrily.
"I told him he deserved to know. That's it. It's not like he didn't already think that." Maya answered.
"You could've-" Emma started.
"Could've what? Gotten him to remember? Like it's such a bad thing!" Maya said looking at her sister.
"Enough!" David said as he drove. "Stop arguing. Right now we have to defeat the witch. We'll talk about it later." David said as Maya looked out the window.
They went to the apartment and Maya looked around the closet. After a while she switched with Regina to make sure.
"Maybe there is something in this." Emma said putting down a big trunk. She searched but didn't see anything important. "Just some sweaters."
"Let me check." Mary Margaret said as she looked and saw the book on the bottom.
"You found it." Maya smiled. They were one step closer to getting her best friend back, but she couldn't help but realize Emma looked upset. It made Maya mad. Regina started to look through the book while Maya put stuff back in the closet.
"Alright. Let's go get Henry shall we?" Regina said as they all left for Granny's. They got there and Emma went to the back to get him. She came back a few moments later.
"He's not here. I mean he's not in the room, he's not in the parlor, and my keys are gone- my car keys." Emma said as frantically as she looked at her phone.
"Give me something. I'll try a locator spell." Regina said.
"I'm way ahead of you. I've got GPS on his phone." Emma said. "He's at the docks." She said as they left.
They ran in seeing a swarm of flying monkeys come in. Maya quickly grabbed bow and arrow from the truck before going in. "We have to hurry!" Maya said as they ran faster.
Maya went in and shot some monkeys as they blew up into orange then grey ash. They got all of them and caught their breath.
"Henry!" Emma yelled as she ran to him and he slowly got up from being on the ground. "Are you okay?"
"What were those things? Why does he have a sword?" Henry asked looking to David.
"Henry it's all going to make sense soon. I'm sorry I was keeping things from you. You were right. You deserve to know the truth." Emma said.
"You were right. You deserve to know the truth." Emma said handing him the book.
"About fairytales? I don't understand." Henry said confused looking to Emma.
"Do you trust me?" Emma asked.
"Of course I do." Henry answered.
"Then I need you to believe." Emma said.
"Believe in what?" He asked.
"Believe in magic." Emma said.
"It's just a book." Henry said looking to Emma.
"It's more then that. Do you believe in me Henry?" Emma asked looking to him.
"Yes." He answered.
"Then take the book." Emma said as he nodded and grabbed it.
"Mom?" He asked. "Mom!" He said to Regina as he ran over. Maya smiled realizing that he remembered. "I remember! I remember!" He smiled.
"Do it Emma. Break the curse." Regina said as Emma nodded and went to kiss Henry's forehead. Henry was teleported by Zelena who was now holding him across the boat house.
"Sorry to interrupt. Now who wants to say goodbye first?" Zelena asked looking to them.
"Who are you?" Henry asked as he struggled.
"You can call me auntie Zelena." She said as Maya looked up wanting to use her magic.
"Enough of this." Regina said going towards her but eventually being knocked out by Zelena.
"Let him go. He had nothing to do with this." Emma said looking to her.
"Don't blame me. The captain failed me." Zelena said.
"Damn you Zelena." Hook responded.
"What is she talking about Hook?" Emma asked.
"He knew the cost of that failure. Your sons life." She said choking Henry.
Maya looked to Emma. "Use your magic." She said quietly. She thought. Use your magic. Use your magic. Use your magic!, she thought.
Emma looked to Maya then back at Henry. She crunched up and put magic at her. Zelena screamed and eventually let go from the pain. "Run!" Emma said to Henry as he ran to Emma.
"Enjoy this moment together because it will surely be your last!" Zelena yelled before poofing away.
"Mom! Mom!" Henry yelled by Regina who was on the ground. "Mom please wake up!" He yelled before she sat up. He hugged her and Regina looked to him.
"I will never let you go away again. I promise. I love you Henry." She smiled as she kissed his forehead. Maya felt a push towards her and began seeing so many things. All of her memories had come back. Maya looked to her parents and hugged him.
"You're both okay!" She said as she hugged them.
"It wasn't me. It's you." Emma said as Maya thought about what they needed to do.
"My magic came back." She said lightly. "I know how to defeat her. It's us." Maya said looking to her.
"So you guys remember. How did Zelena cast the curse?" Emma asked.
"She didn't Emma. We did." Mary Margaret answered.
"Zelenas weakness is us Emma. Light magic. She took it away from me and so we came to get you but my magic came back." She said shaking her head.
"The price of the dark curse is the thing you love most. If one of you cast it then... how are you both still here?" She asked as Maya looked to them.
"We split my heart in half." Mary Margaret said looking to David. "We share one heart."
Maya looked to Henry with a smile. She walked over to him and hugged him. "You remember. I didn't think you were going to." She said quietly.
"I'm glad I remember too." He replied as they looked at each other.
Regina looks for Henry and they started to walk out. Maya watched and saw Robin Hood walk in. "Mom, dad I-" she started.
"Go." Mary Margaret smiled as Maya nodded and ran to him.
"Robin-" she started as Zach walked in behind him.
"I figured you'd be with all the others." He said as Maya looked to him. She ran to him and kissed him wrapping her arms around him.
"You're okay." She smiled as she put his head on hers.
"And so are you." He smiled. "I knew that the blonde girl at the beach was familiar."
She chuckled. "And I knew the cute brown haired boy was familiar." She smiled kissing him again. She grabbed his hand and looked to Henry.
"This is Henry. Henry this is Zach my boyfriend. Henry is my nephew and my best friend. Zach is part of the merry men." Maya said looking to Henry her fingers still intertwined with Zachs.
"Nice to meet you." Zach smiled shaking his hand.
"Yeah you too." Henry nodded before walking out with his mom and Robin.
Maya walked over with Zach to her parents as Emma yelled at Hook.
"She cursed me. My lips actually." He said as Maya and Zach both stopped and looked to each other and then Hook.
"Your lips? Why?" Emma asked.
"He wanted me to steal your magic. She thought it was the best way to do it." Hook answered.
"She did that to Zachariah in the Enchanted forest." Maya said looking to Hook. "It took my magic away and that's why we came here to get you." Maya said. "But somehow the curse made my magic come back."
"See everyone knows that your magic can defeat Zelenas." Hook said seeming a bit guilty.
"And now that she doesn't know I have my magic we can use it against her. I told you it was a good idea." Maya said to her sister.
"It should've been my decision to protect Henry. Wether she forced your hand or not, it doesn't matter. I can't trust you now. How can I?" Emma said looking to him as he looked to her sadly.
Maya looked to him. She felt bad. He was doing what he could to help and it backfired. It wasn't his fault.
"She's right not to trust you." David said as he walked over. "He's lied about more then just this. You said you brought Emma to Storybrooke because we sent you a letter to. We never sent anything."
"Well I bloody well got one!" He said back to them. "Who else would know where to find the savior?"
"I don't know. But right now just stay away." Emma said as they all left. Henry went with them and they all went to Neals grave so Henry could say his goodbyes.
They stood there for a while before Mary Margaret yelled. "What is it?" Maya asked.
"Take deep breaths." David said as Mary Margaret looked up to Emma.
"The baby. It's coming." She said before they all headed to the hospital.
