She sat up and pushed her self up, she heard the rush of water and a sharp pain passed though her tummy; she gripped her stomach and whimpered,
“Alex, the babies are on their way” she said.
Chapter 23
Alex jumped up of the machine and whipped his head around, he grabbed her and lifted her up gently,
“The babies are coming, doctor!!” Alex yelled though the Alpha link, his voice in full Alpha.
He made his way down the corridor almost running, he whispered soothing things in her ear but his voice was strained and worried,
“Alex stop” she said. Alex came to a stop and looked down at her, she looking his face in her hands and looked him in the eye,
“Calm down, my contractions have only just started, relax” she said, her voice now the soothing one. He smiled down at her,
“Your amazing” he said wonder in his voice, she simply rolled her eyes and motioned that he carry on. He stepped into the doctor’s office and Sarah showed them into the birthing room, it was a cream coloured room that was spacious but cosy, there was a bed in the centre with leg strops in place and a birthing pool in the corner. It was perfect.
Alex sat Rebecca down on the side of the bed as another contraction shot though her stomach,
“Ouch, ouch, owwww” she said holding her tummy “that hurt!!” she growled.
“Awwww I’m sorry sweetie” Alex said hugging her,
“Stop grinning Alex it’s not funny” she said
“Sorry baby you just look cute” Alex chuckled holding her close. Rebecca smiled and hugged him back, she looked up at him and grinned,
“Just think soon were going to be two babies mummies and daddy’s” she said in amazement,
“Wow” was Alex’s amazing reply. Rebecca turned to face Sarah,
“How long will it be until their here” she asked,
“Well if you get changed into a birthing gown, I’ll have a look” Sarah answered handing her a birthing gown. Rebecca nodded taking the gown from Sarah and started getting changed.
As she pulled on the gown another contraction raked though her body,
“I’m ready I’m ready!!” she yelled “there on their way”. Alex’s face paled and he helped her back onto the bed and helped her place her feet in the strap. Sarah moved to the end of the bed,
“Okay your fully dilated, push” she said to Rebecca.
Rebecca’s face consorted as she felt another contraction take over her, she pushed. Her face turned red from the effort and pain raced though her body. Being a werewolf may give her amazing speed and strength but it also meant her body would burn of any pain medication in seconds, making it pointless.
She heaved with effort and then she heard Sarah’s voice,
“The heads out, just a few more minutes and your first baby will be born” she said. Rebecca waited and as soon as the next contraction hit her body she pushed, she felt relief and the baby came out of her,
“Congratulations you have a beautiful baby boy, Alpha Alex would you like to cut the cord” Sarah said smiling. Alex grinned and nodded, walking over he took the clamps and cut the cord,
“Your amazing Rebecca you did it” he said picking up the baby gently and showing it to her,
“Wow he’s gorgeous” she said in amazement before another contraction swept over her,
“I guess the other babies not waiting” she said with a small laugh and started pushing again.
The head quickly showed this time,
“This ones not waiting are they” Sarah said with a laugh. As the contraction subsided Rebecca lay panting and Alex held her hand and smiled at her adoringly.
A few seconds later another contraction started, and with one push the second baby was born. Rebecca fell back ageist the pillows exhausted.
She heard Alex cutting the second cord and the other baby went off to be washed. Sitting up she put her arms out for the first baby, staring down at him she felt unconditional love wave over her, he was stunning soft black hair, large brown eyes framed with black lashes with fanned his eyes out beautifully, lightly tanned skin and a beautiful face, he was truly gorgeous.
“Here’s your baby girl” Sarah said handing her over to a stunned Alex, she was amazing soft brunet hair, large brown eyes framed with lush long black lashes like her brothers but her skin was a beautiful pale creamy white skin.
“We are so lucky” Alex said, “we’re blessed with the most amazing babies ever born and I’ve got the most amazing mate on earth” he said “I love you so much Rebecca”.
Tears of joy welled up in Rebecca’s eyes, she might have been though a huge amount of grief in her life, but this moment right now was perfect,
“I love you to Alex, more than even I can understand” she said.
There was a soft knock on the door, Alex looked at Rebecca questionably and she nodded,
“Come in” he said. Tom and Jason walked in with Alice and Shapphire following behind.
“So can we meet our niece and nephew?” Jason asked with a grin
“How did you know” Rebecca questioned confused,
“A certain Alpha may have yelled though the pack link boasting about his to beautiful children” Jason said with a chuckle, Rebecca laughed looking at Alex who looked the other way embarrassed,
“Here” Rebecca said passing her baby boy over to Jason, who took him in his arms carefully.
After an hour of everyone holding the babies and saying how gorgeous they where and how well Rebecca did, everyone left.
Alex placed both the babies in the cribs at the side of Rebecca’s bed and climbed in next to her hugging her gently,
“Now we just have to think of names” he said, Rebecca nodded,
“We’ll sort it out tomorrow, lets sleep” she said closing her eyes. They both fell asleep with huge smiles on their faces that night.
