After a day of watching countless movies Rebecca ended up falling asleep on Alex’s warm comfortable chest.
Chapter 22
Rebecca’s Dream – I was walking though the forest, it was night and moonlight simmered though the creaking branches overhead, the wind whipped around me blowing my hair all around me, a agonising howl rand though the air ‘Alex’ I thought.
I ran toward the howl like my life depended on it, it really did I couldn’t live without him. I ran out into the large open field, and there in the middle was Alex, silver chains encased his body and held him to the floor, the stench of burning flesh filled the air.
I whipped my head around and saw Alicia,
“Well, well cousin nice to see you here” Alicia said her voice and evil hiss,
“Let him go” Rebecca said her voice strong though inside she was shaking,
“Gladly but you must choose” Alicia said a glint of pure evil in her eyes.
“Choose?” Rebecca questioned, fear building up in her,
“Your beloved mate or your children” she said pointing toward a silver cage where two babies where held,
“No” Rebecca screamed “I can’t choose, I won’t”
“Then they all die” Alicia growled, wolves ran out of the trees and held Rebecca back as other ran at the babies and Alex, ripping them apart.
Present
Rebecca woke up screaming, tears streaming down her face and her limbs thrashed around, she was terrified. Alex grabbed her and held her tight,
“Shush, shush it’s alright, Rebecca it’s a dream its okay” he said rubbing her hair soothingly. She wrapped her arms around him and held him in a vice like grip,
“I thought……. Oh my god it was awful” she cried, her tears soaking his shirt.
“Its okay sweetie, it’s not real, you’re safe, we’re safe” he said holding her tight.
Several minutes and a few deep breaths later she looked up into his eyes. There she only saw love and adoration, the same flowed though her eyes, leaning in she placed her lips over his, opening her mouth gently she felt him slip his tongue into her mouth and they kissed gently. Slowly the kiss got more passionate and their tongues fought for control, after finding no winning they broke apart gasping for air, Alex lent his forehead onto hers and looked deeply into her eyes,
“I love you, so, so much” he said sincerity clear in his voice.
“I love you to” she said “more than life it’s self”.
They held onto each other tightly as there heart beat in sync; slowly slowing down to a normal beat, eventually they pulled away from each other grinning,
“Well want to go and shower??” Rebecca said, Alex shook his head at her chuckling.
Half an hour later they walked out the room, Rebecca was wearing some bootleg jeans and a flowing yellow top that floated around her stomach, Alex was dresses in casual jeans and a tight grey tee-shirt that showed off his mouth watering body.
Heading towards the kitchen they heard a girlish scream and Sapphire raced around the corner laughing loudly, with a grinning Jason chasing after her, Rebecca chuckled at the sight of them. Sapphire reached the door yanked it open and raced outside where Rebecca saw her change into a wolf and race into the forest, Jason chasing after her.
“I can’t wait to have these babies, it feels like forever since I’ve shifted” she sighed rubbing her belly.
“Awwww they’ll be here soon and then we will run until we can run no more” he said hugging her from behind, she chuckled,
“That was cute Alex” she said. She felt him smile against her, where his lips were ageist the back of her head,
“What do you want for breakfast, baby??” Alex asked moving toward the fridge,
“Umm I think I’ll just have a yogurt please” she answered. He handed her a toffee flavoured yogurt and she grinned at him,
“This is my favourite flavour” she said,
“What can I say, I’m awesome” he said winking at her, she punched him in the arm laughing,
“Sure you are Alex” she laughed. He pulled a puppy dog face and stared at her wobbling his bottom lip, she laughed at him,
“Stop messing around” she said kissing him. The puppy dog face disappeared off his face and was replaced by a triumphant smile,
“Knew you couldn’t resist me” he said, she just rolled her eyes and finished off her yogurt before throwing it in the bin.
“I might go down to the pack gym, do you mind” Alex asked, Rebecca smiled and shook her head,
“Of course not, mind if I come down and watch, I haven’t seen it yet” she said. He grinned and grabbed her hand,
“Let’s go” he said as they started walking down the corridor, after several minutes Alex walked over and opened two double doors. Inside it was huge, there was every time of machine possible, when Rebecca was designing the gym she’d just brought several of every type of machine she could find, she didn’t know how to work most of them.
There where bean bags placed around the room, Rebecca grabbed the biggest one and placed it next to the first machine and sat down,
“Alex, show me how this one works” she asked with a grin. He walked over and climbed onto the machine,
“All you do is choose the weights and pull this bar down behind the back of your neck” he said, he started pulling down the bar.
Rebecca sat and stared, he had his back to her and the muscles in his back flexed deliciously, ‘Mmm’ Rebecca thought. She heard Alex chuckle,
“I can hear your thoughts sweetie, mate link” he said, Rebecca blushed and turned her head embarrassed,
“I guess I forgot about that” she said, trying to cool her flaming cheeks.
She sat up and pushed her self up, she heard the rush of water and a sharp pain passed though her tummy; she gripped her stomach and whimpered,
“Alex, the babies are on their way” she said.
