When wonderwoman met superman…..again
THIRD PERSON’S POV
This is not a typical Boy meets Girl love story. Marami na ata akong alam na story kung saan mababangga ni Boy si Girl tapos malalaglag yung mga books ni Girl then she’ll try to get it pero mashoshock si Girl kasi biglang mahahawakan ni Boy yung hand niya as the Boy also tries to get her books. Tapos magkakatitigan sila. Then *BOOOM*.. That’s it. Maiinlove na sila sa isa’t isa. Ang korni no?
But this story isn’t about that boy and girl. So let me start my story with a baby boy (actually di na siya baby.. He is about 7 years old) running along the street when he accidentally bumped a baby girl (di na rin siya baby.. Same age with baby boy) who’s holding an ice cream pero nalaglag to kasi nga nabangga siya ni baby boy. Oooops…. Sorry! My story is all about banggaan pala. Hahahahahaha. Anyway, ayun nga, nalaglag yung ice cream ni baby girl kaya umiyak siya ng todo-todo.
“Hoy! Sorry na.. Di ko naman sinasadya ee.”
“Huhuhuhuhu” Di tumigil si baby girl sa pag-iyak.
“Pag di ka tumigil hahalikan kita!”
Baby Girl stopped crying.
“Bibili nalang kita ng bago. Okay?”
Baby girl nodded. Then they started walking papunta sa nagtitinda ng Ice Cream. Baby boy reached the hand of baby boy. Walang malisya. He just wants to comfort baby girl.
After nilang kumain ng ice cream, binuhat ni baby boy sa likod niya si baby girl tapos pumunta sila sa playground.
“Thank you… You are my SUPERMAN!”
“Aba! Pa-english english ka nalang ngayon ha. Hahahaha!”
“Ano bayan! Masaya lang talaga ko ngayon.”
Napatigil si baby boy sa paglalakad.
“Nabibigatan ka na ba sakin? Pwede mo na kong ibaba.”
Halata sa mukha ni baby boy na may iniisip siya hanggang sa…..“Kung ako ang SUPERMAN mo. Then you are my WONDERWOMAN.”

FRAN’S POV
“Hoy Girl! Ano bang nangyayari sayo? Ang weird mo today!!”
“Maka-Hoy ka naman! Don’t mind me Ambs.. Nagdadaydreaming na naman kasi ako ee.” Nag-grin ako kay Amber.
Oh! Hindi pa pala ko nagpapakilala sainyo. I’m Patricia Frances Anne Santos. 16 years of age. Call me Frances. Many people say na maganda daw ako. So no choice na ko kaya naniniwala nalang ako sakanila. But to tell you the truth, pretty naman talaga ko ee. Hahahaha. Taas ng fighting spirit ko no?
This is our first day in college. Kaya yun, ang awkward ng feeling. Same course kami ng bestfriend kong si Amber. We both chose BSA( BS Accountancy ). Actually, I was the only one who chose it and pinilit ko lang talaga si Amber cause I want a company here. I wish she wont suffer any consequences I made.
Masaya ko kasi kasama ko dito si Amber. Ever since kasi na nag-highschool ako, siya na ang naging BFF( Best Friend Forever ) ko. And bilang mag-BFF nga kami, syempre dapat lagi kaming magkasama. It doesn’t mean na kapag di na kami magkasama eh di na kami BFF. We just really need each other’s company.
Anyway, since this is our first day, we don’t know anyone in this institution. Just me and Amber. But we’re still looking forward meeting somebody at the end of the day…. But speaking of somebody, may isang magandang girl na lumalapit sa amin. She’s so sexy and attractive. Wow! Ang ganda pa niya manamit.
“ Hey there! I’m Maxene.. And you are?”
Tumingin kami ni Amber sa likod and no one was there. So she’s referring to us. “Us?” ( Curious look )
“Ay hindi hindi. I’m referring to myself. Oh my gosh! Am I crossed-eyes?”
Shocks. Grabe yung tone ng boses niya. Mataray pero alam mong hindi talaga mataray. Gets? Gulo ko no? Hahaha. Pero I really do love her na. Mukhang magkakavibes kami neto ah.
“Oh sorry.. Curiosity s*^ks. By the way. I’m Frances and she’s Amber. We’re both new here so were not familiar with faces here.” Amber and I both smiled at her.
“Oh my gosh! How Stupid!” Then she made an evil laugh.
Did I hear it right? Sinabihan niya kami ng stupid? OMG! This girl! Grrrr! She’s making me angry. I don’t love her na! I hate her! Super hate! I want to slap her…
“Ooops! Too much. I’m sorry. Bad mouth!” Pinalo niya yung bibig niya. “I didn’t mean it talaga. You know naman kasi na we’re all freshmen here. So natural, di tayo familiar with faces here. Right?”
She has a point there. Siguro nga ganyan lang talaga siya magsalita. I’ll understand her nalang. Kaya ayon, I smiled nalang.
“But I know one.” Then she made a sad face. Tumingin siya sa lalaking naglalakad palapit sakanya. Eto naman kami ni Amber, bilang curious na naman, we both looked on the guy. Wow! Is this true? Oh emm! He’s so hot! Boyfriend-typed guy. Ang gwapo gwapo niya. I think I have a crush on him.
“Who is he?” Biglang tanong ni Amber. Okay. I think she also has a crush on him.
Naghawakan sila ni Maxene ng hands then I knew it. “He’s my boyfriend.” Then she made an evil smile. Ow! Bakit ang hilig niya sa evil thingy? Obvious ba? Hahaha. Ay! I shouldn’t judge her.
“Sino sila?” Ang ganda ng boses niya. Very calm. I can’t help myself to fall inlove with him. Fall inlove agad? Hahahaha.
“LA. Be nice to them. They’re our new friends.” Pinalo ni Maxene si LA sa braso. So, LA pala ang name niya.
“Oh sorry guys! I’m LA nga pala. Nice to meet you.” Nagsmile siya. Shocks! Natutunaw na ko. Stop staring at me LA. Stop seducing me! Ansabeh? Hahahaha.
“Hi. I’m Amber. Nice meeting you too.” Yes Amber? Lumalandi ka na naman? He’s taken na kaya.
“And you are?”
Is he asking me? I need to answer back. Don’t get nervous Frances. Just relax. Inhale.. Exhale…
“She’s Frances. My bestfriend.” Crashed down. Thanks talaga Amber ha! Panira ng moment? Kaasar!! Hahahaha.
“Hi Frances. You’re beautiful.” Tapos nagsmile siya sakin. I felt like I’m in heaven. Hahaha. I regained my composure.
“Thank you LA.” Oh gusto niyo yun? Hahaha.
“Too much for that.” Biglang eksena ni Maxene. “We have to go to our room LA. Late na tayo. Which room? 305 right?” Tumango si LA.
“305? We’re on the same room. Edi magclassmate tayo?”
“Malamang! Parehas nga ng room diba?”
Hephep. Si LA ba ang nagsabi nun? Shocks. Binabara niya ba ko.
“ ^ ___ ^ ”
Shocks.. Ang cute niya talaga.
“Too much for that. Let’s go na guys!” Tapos tumakbo na kami papuntang room.

Nakapasok na sila Amber, Maxene, at LA sa room. I’m about to enter narin ng may….
“WONDERWOMAN!”
Who the hell is this guy calling me a weird name. Teka? Ako ba yung tinatawag niya? Ako nga ata.
“Excuse me?” ( Curious look )
“Hindi mo na ko kilala?” Mukhang disappointed si guy. Gwapo pa naman siya. And I think. He’s hotter than LA. Hanubanamanyan! Masyado naman akong lapitin ng mga hot guys today.
“Why would I bother ask if I know who you are?” Ooops. Bakit ako nagtaray? Diba I have to earn friends here and not enemies? Wrong move Frances.
“T@ng*n#!!! Ge kalimutan mo na ko!!!” Then he walked out. Dahan-dahan.
Ano ba naman tong lalaking to. Why call me wonderwoman? Wait? Wonderwoman? Is he??
“SUPERMAN?” I shouted.
He looked back then run towards me. Alam mo yun? Niyakap niya ko. And take note, in front of many college students. Nakakahiya! Instant popularity ba to? People kept on whispering behind our backs. Whisper pero rinig ko naman.
“Who’s this girl?”
“Bakit niya kayakap yung bago kong crush?”
“Is she his girlfriend?”
“Xander stop this one. Look! They are all staring at us! Nakakahiya kaya!” Tinanggal ko yung arms niya around me.
“Kinakahiya mo na ba ko ngayon?” Nag-sad face siya.
“Hindi naman sa ganun. But see, we’re already grown-ups. We shouldn’t do this thingy on public places like this.”
“So kinakahiya mo nga ko? OKAY FINE!! BYE!!!” He shouted and entered our room. What? Sinabi ko bang our room?

So basically, tama nga ang nabasa niyo. Our room. Mag-classmate pala kami ni Xander. And guess what? We’re seatmates pa. Parehas kasi kami ng 1st 3 letters ng surname. Ang masaklap pa, sabi ng iba naming classmates, halos lahat daw ng professor ditto sa school mahilig mag-seat plan alphabetically.
Sa totoo lang. Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako na nagkita uli kami ng kababata kong ito. But look, he was totally different from the Xander I knew nung bata pa kami. He’s really hot now. Hindi ko na nga siya nakilala eh. Cute naman siya nung bata, pero iba na talaga ngayon. Nakakailang lang talaga siguro kasi matagal na kaming hindi nagkita.
Kagaya nga nang nasabi ko kanina, cute siya nung bata pa kami. Lalo na nung una naming nakilala ang isa’t isa. Remember the ice cream moments? That started our friendship. From time to time, binibisita niya ko sa bahay. Hey! Not to court me, but to play with me.
But I think, we weren’t playing talaga, he just kept on coming to my house para asarin ako ng asarin. And bilang bata pa ko that time, umiiyak ako pag inaasar niya ako. Iiyak ako ng iiyak hanggang sa…..
“Halika nga! Ililibre nalang kita.”
Then I will stop crying. Suhol lang pala ang katapat ko no? Hahahahaha.
But one day, I saw his family packing their things.
“Superman, where are you going?” ( Curious look ) Bata palang ako mahilig na akong mag-curious look. Hehehehe.
“Bulag ka ba? Syempre lilipat na kami ng bahay.” He can’t even look straight into my eyes.
“I hate you! Sino nang makakalaro ko?” I cried.
Niyakap niya ko. “Don’t worry! I’ll come back. But you have to promise me you won’t cry while I’m away?”
Hindi ako sumagot.
“You can’t? So hindi nalang ako babalik.” Tinanggal niya yung braso niya sa pagkayakap sa akin. Tapos naglakad siya papalayo.
“Superman! Promise me you’ll come back!” I shouted.
Then humarap yung ulo niya at nagsmile. “I promise.”
That ends our childhood memories. Pero paano niya nalaman na dito ko nag-aaral? E diba sa Cavite na sila nakatira? At ang pinakapinagtataka ko, paano niya ko nakilala? Eh ang laki na kaya ng pinagbago ko. I’m prettier, and sexier. Hahahaha.
