Nina POV
I got up nice and early and walked around the lodge.
"It was nice of Kita to let me stay with him and Cita, that scratching was driving me nuts" I chuckled
I looked around and I saw the others all getting ready except...
"Where's Yazomo?" I asked
"I got up and he wasn't there, I think he went out early" Natku frowned
"His coat is still here" Zukyo pointed out
"What in the?" Kita mumbled
"He'll get frostbite before he gets back" Cita scoffed
"It's terribly cold outside, I do hope he's okay, if he was to wither the storm what is to become of the camp?" Philippe frowned
"What? We'll be smothered by leafs?" Comori smirked
The boys laughed falsely at the joke but I could see past them
We headed to practice and we didn't see Yazomo all day!
"Is this normal?" I asked as we started walking back
"Yeah, people go missing pretty often, Cita used to do it every week, Ozo once a month, Kita every day for a week each month and I did so myself when the others started joining" Zukyo smiled fixing his glasses
"That doesn't seem safe" I sighed
"Well, the guards here suck so they don't notice and they are awful at everything so it's only to be expected that we would leave..other then Z that is" Zukyo blushed
"Zukyo~ have you got a crush?" Philippe smirked
"No! It's-" "My Dear Zukyo, are you lying?" Ozo smirked cutting off Zukyo
"It's nothing!" Zukyo snapped
"Well she was in our team once upon a time...by chance were you two in the same group at the same time before?" Kita smirked
"N-No!" Zukyo stuttered
"YOU LIKE HER?!" Cita laughed
"I D-Don't!" Zukyo lied
"You don't like me?" Z smirked walking over
"ITS NOT T-THAT!" Zukyo stuttered
"Oh? Do you do like me?" Z laughed
"I don't- not like- not that way!" Zukyo stuttered
"Oh dear oh dear, not very honest are we?" Natku laughed
"Lying to a guard is a reason for punishment you know Zukyo" Zetsu teased
"You too?!" Zukyo sighed
"And me, you have a crush right? I know I wanted to run away but it looks like you won't be joining me after all seeing as how your heart seems to be running towards Zegro" Comori growled
"...okay no one knows what you said" Z sighed shaking her head
"I meant that he liked you more then me" Comori sighed
"Oh..."
"ONWARDS TEASING!" I laughed
"Okay that's adorable as far as I'm concerned" Ozo squealed hugging me
Kita whisked me to him and growled
He said playfully
"Awfully attached are we?" Cita smirked
"You and her practically saved me from death so I think it's acceptable" Kita laughed
"Back to Zukyo" Philippe laughed
"What about Yazomo?" Zukyo sighed
"Right here"
We glanced over and Yazomo was walking over like nothing happened
"What did you do this time?" Ozo smiled
"Kicked a guard where t hurt when he said my mother and brother were here to see me" Yazomo said seriously
"Still hate her that much?" Cita smirked
"Yeah, my moms not so bad but I can't stand my brother" Yazomo frowned
"Man when will she learn" Philippe laughed
"Why are they...she?....Yazomo...says he?" I mumbled
"His brother is a crossdresser so he addresses by He and we address by She" Ozo explained
"So is he/she a he or she?" I asked
"A he, his name is Yomano but he refers to himself as a girl called Yamaka" Yazomo explained
"No offence but he was a dirt bag" Natku frowned
"None taken, he is and he still had the guts to come see me" Yazomo shook his head
"Did he do something? Cross dressing doesn't seem like a reason to hate someone" I tilted my head
Yazomo growled lowly and Z griped his wrists pulling him back
"Calm it Zomo" Z scoffed
"Yes Z" Yazomo sighed
"He doesn't like talking about it but...he tried to kill Yazomo once" Kita whispered in my ear
"What?!" I gasped
"Kita you told her?!" Cita sighed
"Well she had to find out eventually" Kita frowned
"It's true I guess" Yazomo sighed
"He left me outside in the cold to freeze to death, since then I've become unable to bear the cold, that's why I have more blankets and why I always wear a coat" Yazomo sighed
"That's sad" I frowned
"Yeah, but it's for my own good" Yazomo shrugged
'How is that for his own good?'
"Welp, im getting cold, c'mon Kita, lets get you to bed" Cita laughed
"Cita i'm fne, you don't need to rush me to bed so quickly" Kita laughed
Cita pouted and dragged Kita back to the cabin while the rest of us followed slowly laughing our butts off
"Nina, you look sleepy" Natku smirked
"I'm not even tired!" I wined
"so you say, your still a little girl as far as i'm conserned so its time to go to beddy time" Z Teased
"No!" I wined again
"don't make me tackle you" z threatened
"No please no" I stuttered running off
Z draged me down the hall and made sure i was in my room, in bed before she left me alone! :'(
I sat and listened to the costent scratching that echoed my room
I sighed and got up, taking my blanket and pillows again
i walked down the hall and saw Yazomo's door open
I glanced inside and saw Yazomo shaking in the cold
It wasnt that cold but he didn't have a blanket on, he had kicked it off of himself i looked like
I walked over and laid the blanket back on Yazomo and watched his face relax and he snuggled into the warmth
I went to walk out but Natku sat up in his bed and asked "What are you doing in here?" As he rubbed his eyes
"..." I didn't dare look at him or say anything
"Nina?" Natku asked as his voice started fading
"Is this real?" Natku mumbled
I headed him walk over and I froze up
"Please tell me this isn't another one of these dreams" Natku said gripping my shoulders from behind
I knew I was caught so I looked at Natku and turned to face him
"Sorry, I was walking past and I saw Yazomo lost his blanket and he looked so cold and you woke up and..." I frowned
"It's fine, why were you up this late?" Natku asked
"There's something In my room making scratching sounds so I can't get to sleep" I frowned
"That's so *yawn* annoying, I can't stand sounds while I sleep, heck even the smallest sounds give me nightmares sometimes, even sleep paralysis *yawn*" Natku yawned
"Is that why you weren't sure if I was real?" I asked
"At first....yes" Natku sighed
"Sorry" I frowned
"It's fine, besides if you didn't help Yazomo he would have been moaning in his sleep and then that would make my sleep restless and yada yada tads so thanks anyway" Natku smiled
"Yeah" I smiled
"Now about the scratching, where are you going to sleep?" Natku asked
"Couch" I smiled brightly
"Nope, last time you did that you got a cold" Natku laughed
"I'm fine though" I laughed
"You should stay in a room, you can stay with us or maybe Komi, he has a single room ne?" Natku smirked
"I was thinking about that...." I smiled
"Well, I need to sleep, tomorrow is the assessment day, after that we get a week of but still! It's deathly" Natku grumbled
"Have a nice sleep" I smiled
"I will, Yazomo better not wake me up" Natku chuckled getting back into his bed
I walked out and shut the door
I walked down the lodge and looked at the photos
I got to Komi's room and saw the light was on
I walked in an Komi was asleep at his desk working on hens presumably
I shook Komi and he looked up at me
"Nina? What's up?" Komi asked sitting up
"You fell asleep and your desk and I was hoping o could stay here tonight?" I asked
"Sure, why?" Komi asked
"There's scratching in my room and it really creepy" I frowned
Komi frowned and stood up
"Well there's never any sound in my room so feel free to stay in here" Komi smiled motioning to the room
I looked around the room and took it all in
(Obviously slightly run down and less colour)
*obvious statement is obvious*
"I sleep on the bed closest to the desk so do you want the window side bed?" Komi offered
"Yes please"
Komi sat me down on the bed and smiled
"You okay?" Komi chuckled sitting on his bed facing me
"Yeah, just really tired" I frowned
"How long has the scratching been going on?" Komi asked
"A while, since Kita got better really" I admitted
"Seriously? How did you deal with it. Why don't you just get to bed, I heard something about an assessment and we should be rested" Komi chucked getting under his covers
I agreed and got under the warm covers
I drifted to sleep and thought about the day
Yazomo going missing
His weakness to cold
The scratching
Natku's nightmares
Komi's overworking
And an assessment?!
I HATE TESTS!!!
