stiles pov
It was during the lacrosse game, I was finally playing, the whole pack and my dad in the crowd, well the pack members that weren't on the team. I had just scored 3 goals for our team I was over the moon. That's when the final buzzer went signalling the end of the game. I looked around for Scott when the whole field when black and something was being put over my face, I couldn't struggled I was being dragged back and this smell was intoxicating it was knocking me out... Someone help me I thought to myself before I blacked out. When it came to it was freezing and dark but from what I could make out I was in some sort of basement I went to rub my head with my hand because it was sore when I noticed the chains on my wrists keeping me attached to the wall and then I noticed I was naked.
Derek's pov
The field when black and I couldn't risk exposure so I didn't flash my alpha eyes to see, it was about two minutes before the lights came back on again, i looked around and immediately ran over to Scott "Scott where's stiles!" I yelled he looked around and then frowned "oh god no, I can't lose him Derek, please we have to find him" I shook Scott off nodding "I've got it, come with me" I was about half way through the woods when his scent left me, I still had his scent, it was my favourite thing with him being my mate and all even though he didn't know that and we weren't even a couple, but his scent just disappeared and didn't pick up again. I looked everywhere for 5 weeks straight. I barely slept I didn't want to loose him, I knew he wasn't dead cause I'd feel it and I was thankful for that, I had to find him, the only reason I stopped looking everyday and night was because Isaac made me sleep with the promise that we'd find him eventually. And that the pack would also help look but I couldn't look as often as I was because he said I was killing myself and sleep deprivation is very dangerous Derek. I just had to find him.
*present day*
Still Derek's pov
It was coming up to 6 months that stiles has been missing for and it was driving me crazy, I was at on the couch when Isaac came up to me "come on Derek!" He said I just looked at him with a raised eyebrow "I want you to come to a slave auction with me" I just sighed "Isaac I don't want a slave and neither should you" I told him bluntly he just scoffed "I don't want a slave Derek I want to save someone if I can" I looked up at him that was the kindest thing I'd ever heard him say so I just looked till he continued "I've been though all the abuse, granted not as a slave but I still know what it's like to be abused and Lord help these slaves because their 'masters' must be absolute shit holes God knows what's happening to them so please Derek come with me" I looked at him sympathetic and then sighed grabbing my keys and signature leather jacket. Isaac directed us to some building it looked like an abandoned warehouse, we walked in and I told Isaac I was only staying for 2 hours at most. We sat down, near the back.
It was about half an hour in when I smelt it, it was him but I had to be sure, was I really smelling stiles?
The sales person smiled as the last slave walked off stage going into the back and waiting for their new owner "this ones a new one, slave 483, strapping young lad, extremely sarcastic and feisty so if that's what you're looking for this is your guy, and then stiles was walked out butt naked and in chains he didn't look up, constantly looking at the floor, my heart broke at seeing him and I nudged Isaac who was looking at a piece of paper, he looked up and looked at me and I nodded. He was placed onto his knees while the bidding started it got up to 10,000 before it was about to stop, I hadn't put a bid in yet I let it get to the point where the auctioneer was counting down then I said "15,000" to which he took into consideration and then counted me down. I held up Isaac's number card thing and then walked out the back to get my baby with Isaac in tow, as soon as I got to the back and stiles noticed it was me he looked like he was going to cry so I just shook my head signalling him not to give us away, once I paid the man went to put a collar and leash on him I just looked up and snapped "don't!" I yelled to which he responded by putting them down, they didn't give him any clothes or anything so I took my jacket off which was even bigger on him not than it would have been 6 months ago because he had lost weight and had bruises and cuts all over his body. I wrapped my coat around him and then we walked to the front door I then noticed that the car park was stones and I didn't want stiles to get even more hurt than he already was so I stopped him at the door and gestured to ask whether I could pick him up, he just nodded sadly. I picked him up bridal style and walked to the car, I had spare clothes in the boot of my car so I handed them to stiles, he put on my sweatpants and a tee shirt with socks and then got into the car, Isaac got into the back of the Camaro and stiles in the front, stiles had been silent the whole time since we got him, silent tears rolling down his cheeks which broke my heart, I took him back to the loft, because I felt he had to take his time into getting back into seeing everyone but he was used to Isaac and I. Once I parked the car I front of the loft I picked stiles up bridal style again and then let Isaac out of the car before locking it be find him. Stiles just clung onto me crying into the crook of my neck, I walked up to the loft and went immediately into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water because I knew that stiles would most likely be parched, I took the glass back into stiles and he downed to whole thing in one go before saying in a raspy voice "thanks Derek" i then went to run him a bath, once it was done I placed a nice strawberry bath bomb in it and then went down to get stiles I gestured again to ask if I could pick him up and he nodded, I carried him to the bathroom, took all his clothes off gently showing I wasn't going to hurt him even if he did flinch a couple times and then I set him in the tub, just as I was about the walk out stiles grabbed my wrist and looked at me with pleading eyes "please please don't leave me" I turned around at sat at the edge of the tub stroking his hair gently "never again" I whispered back. Once he had gotten out of the bath I dried him off gently and then put on a pair of his own clothes which he had left here before he had gotten taken, even they were too big for him now, and then took him back down to the living room and placed him on the couch where he immediately curled up to Isaac, I hovered above them for a second before asking "what do you what to eat?" Stiles looked at me like the sentence was a complete mystery to him "stiles? Did they feed you at all?" He shook his head no in response and I let out a sad sigh "what would you like?" I asked again he looked up and me and then said "spaghetti?" Innocently I nodded and said "if that's what you want" to which his just nodded, while I was in the kitchen I text Scott.

D I know and nothing good he's so quiet it's like he's just a shell of the person he was and thanks Scott I'll see you in a couple days... Tell his dad he's safe will you and bring him over when and only when I text you, tell him everything I've just told you and tell him I'll look after him
S oh god I hope he gets better soon when he realises we definitely don't want to hurt him and that the last 6 months are over especially with what ever happened and I will that's Derek.

After I had finished the tea I set it down at the dining table, both stiles and Isaac walked over, stiles looked at his plate and then looked at me with a pissed off expression "seriously Derek I don't eat for 6 months and you give me barely a hand full of food" I looked up at him and then replied "stiles there's definitely more if you want it but after you have eaten that, I don't want you eating too much too soon and then throwing it all up" he looked at me with an understanding look and then proceeded to say " oh well thanks der" I just smiled taking a seat next to him. After we had eaten he complained about being too full which I was thankful for because he was at least getting back to his old self.
During the night stiles woke up screaming so I ran into his room and wrapped my arms around him letting him know I was there and whispering sweet nothings into his ear once he calmed down he looked up at me and said "can I sleep with you der? You make me feel safe" I nodded and said "thats cause you're my mate" he looked at me confused and I explained myself "you feel safe with me because you're my mate" he just went wide eyed and then smiled leaning into me more, I carried him back to my room just across the hall and he curled up into my side I kissed his head and he whispered "love you" before going to sleep I whispered "love you too sti" before sleep consumed me again. The next time I woke up it was morning and stiles was already awake tears streaming down his face in silence I curled up to him more pulling him toward me "are you okay baby?" He shook his head no I sighed "tell me when your ready sti, I'm not going to force you" he curled up to me more pushing his head into my chest still crying as I rubbed patterns over his back.
This continued for the next week before Scott and stiles' dad came over at stiles request. We were all stood in the living room me Isaac and stiles when Scott and stiles' father came in. The noise of the loft door being opened and closed roughly made stiles flinch and inch closer to me, he was practically behind me peaking over my shoulder and scrunching his fists in my shirt. Stiles father came rushing in and immediately pulled stiles into a hug which he flinched and tried to fight out of leading to him crying, his father let go of him almost instantly and stiles came back to me sobbing into my chest. Once he was okay again he turned back around puffy eyes and a sad face to look at his father to had a heartbroken look on his face. We all sat down stiles in my lap and the sheriff and Scott across from us with Isaac sat on the same couch as us. The sheriff was the first to speak up softly this time "are you okay son?" He asked concern lacing every word stiles just nodded and whispered "I am now" looking up at me I gave him a small reassuring smile Scott smiled and said "it's good to have you back man, I've missed you so much" stiles looked up and smiled a little "missed you too Scotty boy" to which Scott laughed a little at, stiles looked back down and Scott mimed mate? To me which I replied to with a nod and he got a look of realisation in his face his father looked down and then said "can you tell us what happened son?" Stiles shook his head no continuously starting to get panicked. I wrapped my arms around him whispering sweet nothings in his ear to remind him that he was safe and he calmed down again "no sorry dad" he sounded so defeated which made my wolf whine and my heart break I just wanted him to be better, safe. His father and Scott didn't stay long and I walked them out while Isaac and stiles put a film in. Once we got to the door the sheriff looked at me and said "thank you I'm eternally grateful, he means so much to me. And I'll pay you back whatever it cost" I nodded and replied "he's my world sheriff my mate, you don't have to pay me back I have more. Don't worry about it." He nodded and then left with a pat on my shoulder.
Stiles pov
I knew I had to tell Derek what had happened to me so he could make it better even if he couldn't I wanted to tell him and I was going to as soon as he got back from waving my dad and Scott off. He came back in and I curled myself around him and then got up and sat on the floor. Isaac turned the tv off and looked at me expectantly "I need to tell you what happened" I said in an almost inaudible voice both Derek and Isaac nodded and then Derek said "stiles if you're not ready you don't have to do this" I nodded understandingly "I know but I want to you need to know" he looked at me to continue then.
The game had just finished then all the lights went out I tried to look around for Scott but something went over my face the smell was intoxicating I couldn't breathe I remember thinking 'someone help' then I blacked out. I woke up in a freezing cold, dark place with what little I could see I guessed it was a basement, my head hurt so bad so I lifted my hand to rub at my temple only to be stopped by chains which where tying me to the concrete wall, I then realised I was but naked. I tried to call out for help "hello? Is someone there? Please help me! Hello?" But all I got in return was an obnoxious laugh a mans laugh. I tried curling into myself but nothing worked "sourwolf please, I need you, find me" I didn't know why I prayed asking in for help I just did. That's when the door first unlocked and a bright torch was shone into my eyes, the lights then flicked on and I noticed there were about 6 men surrounding me. "Where's the pack stiles?" One of them asked I just spat at his shoe "oh your gonna pay for that you lil bitch" he then got a knife and scraped it down the side of my cheek I held back a scream, he dragged the knife in several different directions across the rest of my body before laughing and saying "oh we're gonna have some fun with you, you little slut" I looked away from him holding back all my tears and cries of pain they all left the room saying they'd be back to 'have fun' but not before beating and kicking me into unconsciousness. The next time I woke up it was through the door being opened again and a torch being shone in my face before the light switch was turned on, it was only 3 guys this time but they all had sick smiles on their faces. They all crowded around me and started undoing their pants one of them turned me over so I was on my hands and knees and stuffed his dick into me while another shoved his dick down my throat thrusting at the same time as the guy behind me while the last guy just watched, I held back my tears and tried screaming I started screaming for Derek to save me that my friends would kill them but they just kept laughing and pleasing themselves with me. Each of them had their turn behind me in front of me and watching before they decided to beat me before they left. Then one day they took me out of the chains and we ended up at the slave auction I didn't know what I would've done if you didn't find me, I felt so helpless.
I told them everything that happened and by the end of it Isaac was crying as well as me and Derek looked furious. I couldn't stop crying so Derek came over to me hugging me, I cuddled into him smelling his scent reminding me that I'm not dreaming I am actually with them and then he whispered "they're never going to lay their hands on you again baby boy, I'll make sure of it" I just nodded into his chest and cried myself to sleep. Knowing I was safe with Derek. I had my home and family back and they wouldn't take me again without a fight.
