The Album

A dusty album awaits me,
On a creaky table top,
Inside translucent folders-
Pictures of my clear self

Some pictures of my clear self,
Alone on a hermit stone
Enclosed within three waters
With an unbound smile on

Forgetting the age of the snap,
I try to swipe- left and right,
All I need are my fingers
To flip pages of memory

The light waves wash my strong feet,
My transient feet of past,
My core pure, brain curious,
One that I wish to be now

My dreams try to flip the pages
But my soul wants to stare,
I close the book past the last
Before I'm addicted to this drug
