The Darkness creeps in:
It sit's in the corner waiting for me to believe
That it is okay for me to sleep
That is when the darkness creeps in
makes me not want to sleep
Makes me afraid to do so
For one night I would like to be able to sleep without the fear
Without knowing that it will creep in
Silent but always there
Always near
Waiting
I hope to be able to close my eyes
And have the dreams that I deserve
And be having this battle
As the darkness creeps in
