Ch.1
"Ashley, im not cheating on you. Those girls are desperate."John leans on a locker trying to convince
Ashley that he doesn't cheat on her- which is a lie-.
"John.. But 5 girls in one week. They can't be desperate." she whined.
"Ashley. I'm the captain of the football team. Your the captain of the cheerleading team. We make a PERFECT couple. They're going to be jealous. Don't listen to them okay?" He gave her a kiss on her cheek .
"Well... Okay. I love you!" she gave him a hug.
"I love you too."
She walk off with her clique.
"Dude, you got to calm down with all these girls, or you will get caught." Matthew came up to me patting my shoulder.
"Chill. She's not going to leave me. She's desperate." He gave a smile.
"Well, one day a girl isn't going to put up with this."
"Well that one day will be so far away. Like when I'm 100 years old."
"Alright, John there's football practice we got to go."
"Right now?"
"Yup, coach change the schedule. I thought you knew."
"No, I was too busy... Hanging out with another chick."
"John-"
"Don't even say it. 'Football before all.'
We walk into the football field.
Every one was talking.
"What's going on?" He ask.
"Don't tell em. He gone steal that girl away from us." one boy said everyone laughed.
"What girl?"
"Alice. She's really gorgeous. She's new. I had first hour with her."
"Matthew, you knew about her.. And didn't tell me?"
"Dude, she's a nice girl she doesn't mess with guys like you. "
"What you mean?"
"She doesn't put up with that stuff that you and Ashley go through. If a girl says you and her did something she's going to be mad. She's like.. Independent. You know?"
"Yeah. I never messed with a independent girl before."
"And you will never will." He smiled.

John POV---
After football practice I went to my 4th hour class.
A girl was sitting there talking to I guess her friends.
Alice. That's her. She's- gorgeous.
I walk over.
"What's up ladies."
"Hey John." they all said except for Alice.
"Hey, I'm John. You must be new?"
"Yes." she look down.
"You okay?"
"Yeah."
"Well nice talking to you." I smirk.
Her friends giggled and tap on her showing that she was next in my bed.
I walk over to my desk. Talking to my friends.
"Okay class." the teacher spoke.
"We our going to have a science project." the teacher spoke.
Everyone huffed.
"You will be teamed up."
Everyone look at me. Wanting me to be My partner.
"Cole and Jeena."
"Matthew and Taylor."
"Alice and.... John."
Every girl glared at Alice. She look at me. I turn the other way.
"The project is something all scientist and even regular people want to know. Get out your paper." he grab a marker and wrote on the board:
WHAT IS LOVE?
"Reason why I put you in a boy and a girl group because boys and girls think differently. This is a big topic. But that's not all." He wrote again on the board:
IS SEX BETTER THAN LOVE?
Everyone giggled.
"You all are 17, so you know what sex is. So answer this do you think sex is or ain't better than love?"
I thought. Sex is better than love. I never been in love before.
"Now. To even mix everything more up. You will have a baby." he pull out a box full of toy babies.
"They will cry, scream, sleep, drink, and eat. You will learn in this project that - well you have to tell me each what you think afterward. "
"This will be a two week project." he passed out the babies.
The bell ring. "Bring your babies to school!" then we left.
Alice had the baby in her arms. She walk up to me.
"Maybe, we can name her Madison. Then for short we can call her Maddie." I said.
"Yeah, that's a pretty name."
She smiled.
"So i get Maddie tomorrow-"
"No, you will come to my house help me with OUR child. Then tomorrow well switch houses.got it?"
"Why are you so strict on this project- it's just a toy."
She look down,"I know." she walk away.
Ashley walk up to me.
"Hey baby." she gave me a kiss.
"What's up?"
"I heard Alice.. Was your partner. And your topic is about sex vs. Love. "
"Baby, it's a project. That's all. She's not even paying attention to me." I wish she was.
" I guess since she doesn't have any chance with competing against me. Im hotter than her, right?"
No. "Of course." I smiled.
I walk over to my car. It was pouring cats and dogs.
I started to drive. I saw a girl walking in the rain.
"John what are you doing?"
"That's Alice-"
"Don't tell me your going to pick her up?"
"It's raining."
"So?" she rolled her eyes.
"Alice!!" I shout.
"John?" she holds a umbrella in her hand and in the other hand held the baby.
"Get in, I'll drop you home."
"I'm okay- my house is a few miles away. I'll take the bus."
"See she's fine. Now let's go." Ashley whispered.
"Alice. It's cold and raining. Get in."
"No I said i'm okay."
"That's wasn't a question- I said get in."
She got into the car. Ashley look at her.
"Where do you live?"
"County center."
"The rich rich super rich neighborhood?" Ashley look at her crazy.
"Yes. My dad owns 60 hotels across the country and my mom she used to be umm... A.. Umm play boy model."
"A play boy model?" I smiled.
"Yeah. When she was younger. You know Miss April."
"That was your mom. Damn ..." I smiled even more.
Ashley hit my shoulder.
"I live in a rich neighborhood too. Just not that super rich."
"Really? What do your parents own?"
"Oh the shoe company called Stellowz."
"They own Stellowz? The high heels. The sneakers. The back packs, perfumes, and the clothing- all in my closet."
"Oh really."
"Yea.. Im a huge fan!"
"I know."
I drop of Alice.
"Ashley what's your problem?"
"That bitch is my problem!"
"Why?"
"Shes richer than me! She's more hotter than me. And you- oh you! You like her dont you?"
"No I don't."
"Don't lie... Pull over!"
"Ashley!"
"Pull over, I don't want to be in a car with a guy I'm dating that don't even loves me."
What is love? I know It's not when you cheat on a girl 20 times in 2 months. It's not when you keep secrets from each other. We might as well be friends with benifets.
I pulled over.
"You pulling over? So you don't love me?"
"Ashley, you want me to pull over I am. So get out."
"John?!"
"Get out."
"Fine!!"
She slammed the door.
I got a text message.
'do you mind if you start our project today?' from Alice
