The guidance counselor sat down in front of the teen, who pushed her fashionable red glasses farther up her nose.
"So... Mrs. Kellner-" the man starts, but was quickly interrupted by the girl.
"Don't. Call me that." She growled with her moderate French accent, shooting him a glare.
"Okaay..." He gives her a weird look before continuing. "Why did Mr. Vernon find you In the cafeteria with your little sister at twelve o'clock, midnight last night?" He glances at Evelyn. "And more importantly, why was there a razor blade in your hand?" He stands up and slowly walks over to where she was standing. She opens her mouth reply, but instead, he interrupts her. "We don't have to send you back to that a-" he gets cut off by a fist in his face.
"How dare you even think about sending me back there."
