The next day told me I could take my baby home. I sat on the side of the bed wrapping the wrap around my stomach before I put on my sweat suit. The doctors brought Za’Kira to me and I dressed my baby girl in an outfit that said I <3 Daddy. They already had her started, then I fed her the bottle and tried to rock her to sleep but she just wouldn’t go. I stared at her eyes they were a light brown color and I just smiled because to me she looked like her daddy and not me. As a rubbed her face and sung “You are my Sunshine” to heard AK cleared his throat as he stood there with the car seat in his hand smiling. “Look at my girls” He said “Hey Bay” I said to him as he came and sat the seat on the bed. “Baby they already got us on TMZ, and everything talking about you and the baby, so we gone take the back entrance the car down there waiting on us” he told me and I rolled my eyes.
After we got everything from the doctor, we took the elevator to the garage and the truck was waiting on us down there. I got in the car as AK strapped the seat in. “What’s up Zay” I said speaking to his driver “What’s up Ms. Boss Congrats on your lil mini me” He said looking threw the mirror “Thanks” I smiled and AK got in the car and gave me a kiss.
“Zay you know where to go, and Yanni you gone have to put on this” He said handing me a blindfold. “Oooo a surprise for us mama” I said grabbing Kira hand then letting AK put the thing around my eyes. I couldn’t see anything for the next 30 minutes.
“So Baby you ready,” AK asked as he put my arms around his waist “Yeah where’s my daughter” I asked, “I got her just hold on to me” He said “Good Afternoon Mr. Kirkland” I heard somebody say “What up Carter and I said call me AK” AK said to whoever that was. I heard a ding so I’m guessing we were on an elevator, I was right because my ears started to pop and Kira started to cry.
“AK she’s crying” I said trying to take the blindfold off “Naw bay she good you can get her in one minute” He said as I heard the ding and we step of the elevator and I heard a door open and then AK took the blindfold off, my mouth dropped and I turned and looked at him “Welcome home baby” He said as he held and rocked Kira. “OMG BAY” I screamed and he just smiled. “Go look around” He told me as he started to walk toward the hallway I just followed the first door he opened was a bedroom color scheme blue and white it was so beautiful. “Guestroom 1” he said as we walked off down the hallway “Guestroom 2” He said as I looked at the room accented in earth tones. We walked back to the living room and up the stairs and it was a mini living room with the Kitchen next to it
“Bay this is fye the kitchen on the second floor” I said smiling it was another room next to the Kitchen it was like an off white and green scheme in there then there was a lil movie room in the room next to the living room it had like 12 seats in there “AK you know this ain’t enough seats right” I laughed “Shit it will do” He laughed as he rocked Kira to sleep.
The last level had a door blocking it. “Oooo last level what” I said geeked. AK told me to open the door It was a long hallway with a bathroom on the left side and to the right side was a door decorated yellow and green with flowers on it and a letter Z. “OMG bay” I said as tears came to my eyes. I walked to the door and room was decorated similar to the door decorations. She had a huge crib with big teddy bears sitting on the floor I looked at her closet and was jealous.
“AK a walk in closet she’s only a day old” I said walking in the closet. “Don’t be a hater Yanni,” He said going into the closet to. She was set for the first year of her life. We walked out of Kira’s room and down the hall were two doors with two big A’s on the door. “Is that for me” I asked “Yuupp that’s for us” He smiled. I opened the doors and it was just huge I walked around it and we also had a walk-in closet but it was locked
“Bay it’s locked” I turned and told him and he had a key in his hand. I took it and opened it and there were clothes with tags on them all for me, well there were his clothes too. Then it was another door I opened that one and it was shoes from wall to wall. “AK I love it” I said as we walked back in the bed room and he laid Kira in the bed and we each got on one side of her “Bay where is our TV” I asked He just grabbed the remote and hit a button and a screen dropped out the ceiling along with a projector. “Oh okay then shut me up” I laughed “Girl you know I love you” He smiled “I love you too bay and thank you so much for this beautiful condo” I smiled and he kissed me “I’m doing this for us three no problem” He smiled.
I love it that I just had our daughter and he has bought me a condo and things were looking great. This thing could get better, no it’s actually only going to get better.

So AK had just bought a condo for Ayanna and my niece and it’s all good but I know my brother and I know he has been a dog since the beginning of their relationship, and Yanni knows it to we all knew AK was going to make it this far and truth be told we all thought that she was with him for that exact reason but I can honestly say now I know that’s not true. They were throwing a house warming party and everybody was going to be there.
We got to their building and it was a different type of elevator to get to they floor. “Damn AK doing it like that” Tre said and I just laughed. When the 19th floor came it was only one door so I knocked on it, and Yanni opened the door with Kira strapped to her in the lil pouch thing. “Hey Imani” she said smiling from ear to ear.
“Hey girl, Oooo this is nice,” I said walking in the door making sure I took off my shoes. “Hey Trevor” Yanni said giving him a side hug “What’s up Yanni let me hold my niece” Tre said and Yanni took Kira out of the pouch thing and handed her to him. I just looked around at their condo it was fye
“When can I move in where’s my room” I asked “Pick one” Yanni said going up the stairs and I just ran up the stairs after her and she was in the kitchen with my bro, D.Rose and Noah.
We all sat and talked for about an hour in the kitchen then people started to disappear. I know Derrick, Noah, Christian, Danni, Sarah and a couple more people went to watch a movie so I went down stairs and London was sitting down there with her cousin Bria and when I walked down there they stopped talking.
“Don’t stop talking because I came down here yall seen everybody” I asked “Naw” London said and I just turned and walked off. She been acting real fake lately, every since the baby was born but the shit really hit the fan when the condo was bought. I walked back up the stairs and everybody was crowded in the movie theatre watching The Hangover.
“Excuse me yall seen my brother” I yelled and everybody just turned and looked at me. “He upstairs with his daughter.” Tre said and I just left out and went to the nursery. “Bro your so-called best friend checking for you now huh” I said as he sat in the rocking chair trying to get Kira to go to sleep and he laughed “What you talking about” he asked.
“She been acting 10% every since your child was born and she acting 5% now that you bought Yanni this condo” I said as I sat on the floor. He shook his head but then he put on his serious face “Right start talking” I told him because I already knew what that meant.
“Man she just feel like she should be in Yanni spot because she been here all my life” He said getting up putting Kira in the crib turning on the monitor and putting the other on in his pocket. “Come on we bout to go talk on the balcony.” He said and we walked towards his room.
“Now when did this occur” I asked as we sat in the chairs “Shit like three months after the draft last year” he told me “So damn she been phony kicking it every since then that bitch out of it she can’t be apart of ICandy no more” I said mad as hell
“Nah you can’t just kick her out you gotta let some shit pop off you see she already jealous she bound to slip up and do something” AK said which made a lot of sense. “As long as you don’t slip up and fuck around with her I wont have to beat her ass” I said and he laughed
“I’m not playing AK” I told him “I know that’s why it’s funny, but I won’t I’m all about Kira and Yanni fuck these other girls” He said and it sounded like a plan but me and him both knew it was a lie
