The Concert
Ezekiel's
Today is the day. My most awaited day. Today is finally my concert. Atlast, after all of these I could see Soleil everyday.
She may not know but it's also hard for me not to see her. Every goddamn hour feels like I'm slowly dying.
I still can remember the look on her face when she got jealous over Kyla. Should I've said to her thag Kyla was my cousin? She was so cute getting jealous the way she looks at me with daggers in her eyes and the way she pouted those lips of hers. She just doesn't know how teasing she was while doing that!
"Ezekiel, wake up." My mom said from outside.
It's also rare that our family is present since we have a lot of activites but everytime I have a big event they'll always clear their schedules.
Before I went down, I sent a message to my baby.
"Good morning Baby. See you later😘"
As I went down the stairs I could already see my family getting ready for breakfast.
"Good morning honey! How's your sleep?" My mom asked me
"It's fine." I smiled to her, "and mom please stop calling me honey. It's weird." I continued
"You never really mind when I called you that before." She said
"Aw love, he's growing up. Let him be." My dad said. He looked at me and winked at me. I love my dad. He completely understands me.
In the middle of our breakfast, my twin Ally said something that made my family teased me.
"Eze, are you gay?" She asked me
I almost choked at what she said and everyone attention was now on me.
"No." I said
"Well are you a coward for not asking the girl you like out?" She said
My dad laughed at me. Ugh, why of all time now?
"I'm waiting for the perfect timing okay, just wait will you?" I said annoyingly to her.
"Ally, dear. We boys wait for the time. We don't want to get rejected." My dad defended me.
After breakfast I immediately went to my concert venue.
I could already see people lining out of the venue at this hour. It's too early. When they say me coming, they asked to have a picture with me. Ofcourse I agreed.
I had my final rehearsals this morning to review all the steps that I will do and as of the moment they are already preparing me for my opening number.
Why the hell do I feel so nervous? And is Soleil already here? This is the first time she'd see me perform in a large crowd and with her parents!
I was already at the back stage and I could hear the people shouting very loud as the countdown began to begin.
'This is it.' I said to myself.
I came out from the backstage and was greeted with an enthusiastic crowd of people.

Today is the day that Ezekiel will perform and finally he won't be busy after it! as I came down from my room, I see my mom and dad already in the dining room. It's almost thr afternoon and close to Ezekiel's concert.
"Why are you still not dressed?" my mom asked me
what? she wants me to prepare already? but it's too early.
"Isn't it too early mom?" I asked her
My daddy cleared his throat, "You need to change since we will be going somewhere before the concert." he said
I quickly ran upstairs, what will I wear?? Should I wear a party like dress? or some jeans? skirt? shorts? sandals? heels? Why the hell do I have so many clothes.
After an hour debating, I chose a red body hugging dress. I never really wesr this kind of dresses but I think it'll be perfect!
Two hours before the concert, we left the house. So this is why they wanted me to dress immediately, it's bloody fucking traffic.
When we arrived to the venue, I guess they weren't expecting us. Camera flashes and people's eyes were almost popping out. What's really the matter? Geez, we're just normal people.
The guards, checked our ticket and immediately brought us to our seat. We were like very near to the stage.
The president of their company went over to us and greeted us, especially my father. I think almost all the attentions were on us not until, the timer began to tick which made the fans scream. And when it went zero, all the lights went out and which made his fams scream even more.
"What's up Aviva?" He shouted which made them really excited.
With a beat, he started his opening performance. He sang and danced his pop music first.
There were many guests to his shows, which able to give him a break from his performance. The gay one really made me laugh.
An hour left till his concert ends.
"Hello people!" he shouted, "now I'm gonna pick one girl today and serenade her, aight?"
I swear this stadium turned to a market place, all of the girls are screaming, "Choose me" and stuff.
He started to sing, "Isn't she lovely." and he then picked a girl from the crowd. I say he's got a taste on girls. The one he chose was sexy and really pretty.
When it was almost the end of the song, that girl got the nerver to hug him tightly. Ugh, why does this pisses me off and guess what he kissed her cheek! Does he want a death wish or something? Cus i'd be happy to give it to him.
After his serenade, he then thanked the his big bosses for this opportunity and for all the major and minor sponsors and finally the people who came.
As all of us taught that the concert was over, well we were all wrong.
"Now, the concert is not yet over, I'd like to end this to share something very personal to all of you. I was actually thinking for a while if I'd do this personally or here in the concert. Well I guess I chose this concert.I willbe introducing you to someone very special in my heart." He said and started singing.
Well ofcourse, he'd introduce his family after all they are very special to him.
I heard him sing this song before.
"Wise men say, only fools rush in. But I can't help falling in love with you." He sang and started to go down from the stage.
Why do I have a feeling that he is heading towards our direction? Shit, why is my heart beating so fast? He can't go here.
He was like two or theee steps away from us. He looked at me and smiled. He stopped infront of my father.
"Hello Sir Manuel, it's such a greatful honour that you accepted my invitation." He said to my father
"You're welcome.." My daddy said formally.
"I believe sir that I've told you before about my intentions for your daughter." he said, "God, I'm so nervous right now." he shared his feeling to the crowd which made them laugh
"Sir, as I've said before that I really love your daughter and protect her no matter what." He said and then he leaned forward and whispered something to my parents, all we see is that they gave him a nod.
He then turned to me and asked for my hand. I swear every girl was shouting. I accepted his hand and then he brought me up the stage.
I can't even express how thankful I am that I chose this dress.
"You nervous?" he asked me
"What do you expect?" I told him
A song then played and then he held my hand like his life was depending on it. The song was "Wonderful Tonight."
"You looked wonderful tonight." He sand while looking at me in the eye. When the song ended, I was finally happy that it's done but yet I just realised at that moment that my parents were conspiring with him.
"Soleil Chandria Manuel." he said which made me look at him and the background turned into fairytale like.
"I love you and I hope you'll give me the permission to court you. Please say yes baby." He said which made them all shout
Well who am I to say no? right?
