Sigfried stopped the carriage when he found the start of a ruin in the middle of the forest nature having destroyed old buildings and walls just leaving a little in one piece. He comtinue on tapping his hand on the top of the carriage to warn they were close still driving the carriage over the ground full of holes.
Everybody looked outside at their surrounding seeing the ruins themselfs together with nature in his full beauty trees standing proud hiding animals who looked scared at the carriage but not because humans had entered their homes but where they were going.
Erza stepped out to hang on the edge of the carriage getting a better view of the surroundings noticing something ahead still standing tall and strong between the remains of other buildings who were taken down. Erza summoned one of her swords carefully looking around for a threath keeping her guard up.
Siegfriend stopped the carriage infront of a weird stone gate with symbols engraved all over it with a few extra's like emeralds or diamand build into the portal. The portal was maybe 20 times bigger then a normal human very nicely decorated ontop of a small platform in the ground filled with symbols of a sword or what looked like war stories and times of darkness.
Everybody stepped out looking at the ground at all the picture engraved in the stone, the one in the middle truly caught their attention of a circle surrounded by rubies. The circle was meant to look like the left side was a moon while the right side was the sun all what was drawn into those sides was what really caught their eyes.
Soul edge was cleary drawn into the moon his eyes having a ruby in the pupil to make it look much more scarier. The right side the sun part had a different sword where a small orb was better shown by a pale placed on his spot.
Lucy : is this ?....
Yung : yes... this is the portal to soul calibur
Yung stepped forward looking over all the pictures smiling brightly stopping just a few feet away from the gate still looking around looking at the pictures in truth reading a story portrayed by all this pictures.
Yung : this floor tells about all soul edge battles and how he came to be together with Soul calibur... it also tell that only with a pure heart can enter the portal to claim soul calibur if soul edge would return to this world.
The group of fairy tail all looked at Erza with a smirk pointing their hands forward telling Erza to go which the woman did stepping forward with a fire in her eyes. She stood a few away from the portal doing nothing waiting for something all nothing happend the gate just stayed a gate standing there.
Lucy : nohing is happening
Yung : hhhmm,
Yung walked around the portal scanning it for clues taking a fww small glances at fairy tail who looked worried fearing they had the wrong place but Yung was sure this was the right place and this was the gate to soul Calibur. He runned his hand over the stone pulling it back when his skin was burnt on contact all he kept the pain away not showing fairy tail he just got burned for just touching the gate for reason he wasn't gonna reveal.
Yung stepped next to Erza looking at the gate with wonder all Erza was impatient so long you still were out there... her love in danger.
Erza : it ain't working
Yung : i can see that..... there must be a trick but what
Erza huffed looking away at the ruins growing more worried for you..... all she wanted was to save you to get you back in her arms to hold you telling you that sword was gone and you could stay in fairy tail as her lover and family of the guild. She started to think about the moment you had you two fell in love and confessed in not even that much time but still she felt so happyh wuth you so comvertable... she wanted to have that feeling back and you with it.
Cat stepped forward a little angry pointing one of his claws at Yung who acted like everything was fine.
Cat : your supposed to be the expert !.. can you do something
Yung : the knowledge about this gate is lost in time... not even i know all the answer senor
Erza looked at the ground clenching her fist.
Erza thought : it can't go right for once..... all i want is to save (y/n) is that so much to ask ?...
Erza looked up hearing a small charging sound amazed how all the jewerly on the platform or gate lighted up in different colours glowing brightly before the light traveled to the gate forming a energy door in the gate. The gate transformed into the portal Yung spoke off standing tall like the gate infront of fairy tail who gasped at the sigh of the holy portal.
Cat stepped forward now Erza had activated the portal somehow.
Yung : good work......
Erza : w-what do we do now ?
Yung : i do not know..... the portal opended for you Erza you have to enter and find the sword.
Cat : can i come ?
Yung : maybe.... enter and hope you don't incinerated
Cat shrugged following Erza to the portal, the two gave their friends a nod for encouragement then entered the portal getting blinded by a bright light that brought the two into a room made out of crystals. The room was huge maybe 5 times fairy tail size all the room including floor, ceiling, walls were all made out of solid shiny crystal.
Every step they made made a noise bouncing around the room that held just one thing a steel made table with a huge sword laying down on the table giving off a calming/strange glow.
Erza was amazed by the sword it looked different then any other sword she ever used Erza could even feel his power from her spot far away giving her a feeling of peace. Erza took a step forward just jumping away from a crystal made spear that nearly impaled her from her side.
Erza looked around noticing that guards walked out the walls just like the room made out of crystal carrying Crystal made weapons all standing 2 times a normal human.
Cat : ah ha (pulls sword out) i knew this was to easy
Erza : do you cover me while i grab the sword ? (equips clear heart clothing)
Cat : i promise it on my honor of a gentlemen and my hat
The two runned at the guard who moved slowy being made out of Crystal they were slow. Erza had to slide under the first guard then jump back to her feet blocking the slash of a another guard, she pushed his blade to the side then runned past him giving a slash in the guard back that bounced off al the swing was hard enough the guard fell over.
A few guards tried to chase her but Cat slided infront of them pointing his small sword at them.
Cat : come on !
The guards shared a look then attacked the Cat who dodged all their attacks easy, one tried to stab Cat with his spear but Cat jumped up landing on the spear then runned over the spear to the guard stabbing the crystal guard in the head.
Erza kept running to the sword knowing the guards tried to grab her but they were just to slow to catch up to her.
Erza was almost at the sword when a huge crystal warrior 5 X times the normal size bursted through the front of the wizard throwing her of her feet. Erza backflipped in mid air landing on her feet just keeping her balance to keep standing. The warrior held a huge crystal mace which the guard swinged at the warrior who rolled under the swing trying to run around the guard who smashed the mace infront of her path.
The guards moved the mace from infront of Erza moving it to Erza but the red head jumped away landing not to far needing to jump away from the next swing.
Erza stepped a few feet away from the guard trying to find a way to win. She could attack but the Crystal armor was to strong for her small blade. Erza changed into her heaven wheel armor seconds before the next swing would hit her all now she climd fly away to dodge the mace,
Erza pointed her sword at the guard firing about a hundred swords into the guard throwing him off balance so she could fly past to the sword she knew was soul Cakibuf. More guards appeared around her very close of hitting her with their weapons but Erza passed them all getting in reach of grabbing the sword known as soul Calibur.
Erza landed grabbing the sword by the hilt feeling a power surge through her body on contact then ripped the sword from his spot taking a step back by the sudden weight. Erza held the sword in two hands staring in awe of the blade it felt so powerfull gave her a feeling she could take anything.... did you feel this when wielding Soul edge ?.. no wonder you loved that sword (still scared for other people reaction thought and their safety)
Erza turned around hearing a loud footstep, the huge guard was the first to reach her already having the mace raised in one hand above his crystal head swinging it down right ontop of Erza. Out of reflex Erza swinged the sword in one hand against the mace believing she would be crushed as a ant but the sword shattered the mace on impact.
Using the sword for the first time triggered a light that ingulfed erza giving her a new armor made out of armor mixed with crystal giving her a boost in strength she could't believe.
The armor was simelair to her knight armor but much thicker with crystal shoulder plates, boots, gaunlets the chest plate made out of a shining metal with soul calibur ingraved in it.
Erza gained a confident smile jumping at the guard swinging the sword in two hand together with the sword she shattered the entire Crystal guard. Erza landed between the remains of the huge guard waiting for the next guard to attack but none moved for a few seconds not even the one's cat fought.
Cat jumped on the shoulder of a guard then jumped on the head of the next guard jumping head from head until he flipped over a guard landing behind the guard pointing the sword at the unmoving guard.
All the guard turned around walking into the walls sinking through like the wall was made out of water.
Cat and Erza regrouped, Cat gave Erza a respectfull nod of her new armor even giving a bow while taking of his head.
Cat : you look lovely
Erza : (smile) i look like a warrior (holds soul calibur in two hands) this power is amazing
Cat : guess you know why (y/n) loves Soul edge so much.... lets get out of here before the guards come back
Erza nodded her head following Cat out still in her soul calibur armor.
The group of Fairy tail gasped at the sight of Erza in her new armor holding the hoky blade in her right hand. Ying smiled happely that she had the sword looking away to smirk for a second before returning to his friendly look.
Lucy : Erza you look amazing
Natsu : wow another armor
Sir Siegfried : the look of a true warrior
Makarov : good job Erza
Erza smiled at the praise returning to her regular armor placing soul calibur on her shoulder still feeling strong just holding the sword.
Erza : thank you..... now we have what we need to save (y/n)
Gray : but how do we find him ?
Yung : simple (steps forward) don't forget soul calibur is a piece of Soul edge........ the blade can sense Soul edge.... look into the blade let it show you his counter part
Erza nodded taking the sword in two hands infront of her looking into the orb feeling nothing happen.
Yung : open your mind for it
Erza cleared/opended her mind for the sword finally feeling somethimg to happen, a sight appeared infront of her eyes showing something traveling from the sky into a city traveling over the streets to you. You walked over the street calmy walking straight to a church standing in the middle of town.
Soul calibur revealed Soul edge resting on your back inviseble to most people but Soul calibur showed her Soul edge she could even feel the dark aura around it the power.... the bloodlust, Erza could feel a heartbeat that sounded dark. Soul edge eyes widen staring right at her then fired a single beam onto her vision blinding her for a second which threw Erza out of concetration.
Erza lowered a Soul calibur still holding it in one hand while covering her eyes.
Lucy : what happend ?
Erza : i saw him.. (y/n) i think he in a city close by i saw the nams of the city on a shop
Natsu : then we gotta be fast before he runs.... (y/n) might already know we're after him
Yung : no Soul edge won't tell him anything (they look at Yung) soul edge want (y/n) to be the perfect host to become powerfull but (y/n) has a weakness and thats all of you.... he wants you to force (y/n) into battle so that he can kill (y/n) only weakness and change (y/n) into Nightmare.
Erza : that won't happen
The others agreed all nodding their heads agreeing with Erza.
They would find you and now Soul edge had to be carefull for Soul calibur.
Erza smiled at the support of her friends happy she had what was needed to save you but deep inside Erza felt a bit of fear because now she had Soul calibur she knew one thing.
Having Soul calibur meant she had to fight you to save you.
