Imagine you live in England. It's 2018 and there is a world war going on all over the world. What if your family has been murdered and you are the only one left in your town? Scary, isn't it?
Well, that happened to Rose. She is trying to survive on her own but that isn't as easy as she thought it would be. But life needs to go on. She is trying to stay alive and to go and help as many people as she can. She is a student. She studies to be a nurse. Her study is almost over but her school is closed because of the war. Rose is seeing the hard way of life. The struggle of life and death. She meets new people and also loses a lot of them. But she stays truthful to herself and travels to the front. There she is going to help in the local hospital to take care of the injured soldiers.
