Your POV
"Ven, Ven wait up you're going to fast. Slow down a bit. What's gotten into you?" He didn't answer and only grip my wrist tighter as he slowed down his pace. We walked past a few buildings and the market. My heart was beating fast, I was walking alone with Ven. Heat rushed to my cheeks as I tried to distract myself. I looked around trying to figure out where we were heading since both of our houses and the usual spot were in the other direction. I sigh, thinking how I got in this situation.
Flashback
Classes had finally ended and everyone was heading out to the front. Students started leaving in group, but i looked around for my friends who like to stay and wait for the crowd to die down before heading out. The sea of people made finding them hard, but seriously how hard was it to find a group of 14 people and 2 of them were the only red heads in the school. I sigh frustrated as people kept shoving me around the crowd.
"Hey watch where you're going! Rude much." i had somehow fell on my butt as a guy shoved me, hurrying over to a small group already leaving. I sat there for a bit watching him catch up to his friends before realizing i was still on the ground. Groaning I got up and dusted my pants seriously come on everyone wants to leave. People need to really calm the puff down here.
"Gee (name) getting run over my the crowd sure is your favorite pastime." "No bro her favorite thing to do is sitting on the floor while her friends wait forever for her to come."
I turned to the source of the voices. There stood Zack and Terra struggling to hold back their laughs. "Haha very funny guys I just love sitting on the floor and getting stampede over," rolling my eyes playfully.
"Well hurry up everyone's tired of waiting," Terra said as he started walking back to the group now visible since most of the students had already left. Zack put an arm around my shoulder and we walked to our friends. Hey I don't really mind his arm there, I know he''s just a big flirt and stuff like this doesn't actually mean anything to him.
"(name) you made us wait forever I'm soooooo hungry." Sora latched onto me as I got closer to the group and Zack's arm retracted. "Aww come on Sora you're crushing me," as I tried to push him off. Looking around I greeted Reno, Axel, Roxas, Namine, Riku, Ven, and Aqua, noticing how a huge chunk of people weren't present. Sensing my thoughts Axel said, "Look (name) just cause you were making us wait almost everyone left us to go eat at the usual spot."
"Gosh guys I'm sooo sorry you had to wait for me since i just can't help it when I get a chance to be run over by a crowd of people. I guess my favorite hobbies distracted me," dripping with sarcasm. "Well just make sure that is doesn't happen again," Roxas said jokingly. "Got it memorized?" "yea sure whatever floats your boat Axel."
We started walking and Sora was leading the way. I was just talking to Namine and Aqua when I was suddenly grabbed by Zack and Terra. "No she's mine!" "Zack we all know you're wrong she likes me more," Terra said as he shoved Zack making him lose his hold on me. Strong arms trapped me into a firm chest. Still a bit dizzy from the mini tug of war I just stood there, not resisting. "There you see she's not trying to escape from me. Zack just give up I'm the better man." "Terra stop being stupid (name) obviously loves me and knows I'm gonna rescue her from you."
Zack had tackled Terra and the two of them were wrestling on the ground. I sigh standing there, seeing how the two of them love causing trouble everywhere they go. I heard Reno and Roxas whispering behind me to Ven. I was about to turn around when I was pulled into another embrace.
Just another normal day for all of us.
I looked up to see who it was this time. No surprise it was Axel. "Those guys are so blind everyone already knows how much we both love each other right (name)," he said looking at my face. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Ven staring at us. I looked away from Axel trying hard not to blush.
A grin crept on Axel's face as he noticed you didn't say no, "hey you bunch of luge nuts (name) agrees we were meant for each other." Zack and Terra had both stopped fighting each other at that point and were staring at me. I glanced over and saw them kind of in a hugging position on the floor.
Realizing that he had all the attention on me, he had a devious idea. "Hey (name) lets prove our point and kiss." My eyes went wide, "wh what? K k kiss?" Axel's face started coming closer to mine as I struggled for my life.
Please let him be joking. Damn it he doesn't look like he'll stop. Is he actually gonna kiss me? I don't want my first kiss to Axel!!!!
Before I was about to kick Axel's butt to next week I was dragged out of his clutches. "Hey what's the big idea Ven. Me and (name) were about to show the world our love, got it memorized." Not missing a beat he flicked Axel off and grabbed my wrist making a run for it.
Flashback end
Ven had led you to a deserted park. His grip on your wrist relaxed a bit as he continued to lead you somewhere. You had recognize the park, it was where you had first met Ven and Roxas. A smile appeared on your face as you remembered how you guys had met.
Jerked out from memory lane, Ven had come to a stop. He let go of your wrist and stops a few steps ahead. You remain standing where he left you, missing the warmth of his hand. Here you were a few feet away from him alone. Vengeful butterflies started a war in the pit of your stomach and your heart was pounding loudly in your head.
I hope he can't hear how loud my heart's beating right now. Aww who am I kidding everyone in a mile radius can hear it. Why isn't he saying anything? I hope he knows that the guys were just joking. God I hope he knows.
Your POV still
Sighing I didn't know what to do. Looking up, the sky was really pretty today. A blue canvas that seems to stretch on forever. It was nice and the sun warmed my skin and the breeze gently played with my hair. I closed my eyes, standing there in the park basking in the sunlight.
I felt a presence surround me. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Ven gently wrapping his arms me. His embrace tighten as he started to speak.
"Do you love Terra? Or is it Axel or Zack that you really love?"
I was about to answer but his voiced cracked at the end.
"If you're happy with him then just tell me so I can try and stop loving you! Just don't give me anymore hope! I don't want to be led on anymore."
His voice was barely a whisper now and I was scared of how fragile he was. My arms wrapped around his neck and I made his eyes face mine. They were dull blue and almost lifeless. It pained me to see him like this.
"Ven you silly I love you. I've always loved you and no one could ever change that. So please don't say you'll stop loving me, cause I wouldn't know what to do anymore."
He was shocked more than anything, eyes widening. I guess he wasn't prepared to hear me say that? It was silent as I looked around the park. Nothings changed. Finally having the courage to face him again my eyes were locked into his.
His bright blue eyes shined with happiness and love as we stood there smiling a each other. Slowly the gap between us disappeared and our lips met. It was amazing, the kiss was soft and tender. We were both left breathless as we parted. He rested his forehead on mine, " I'm so glad Roxas told he to go for it." "Me too Ven. Me too."
We sat on a bench holding hands as we watched the sun set. "You know Ven, that was my first kiss." Gushing I couldn't help but feel embarrassed. Ven chuckled, but didn't say anything. "What's so funny Venven?" He looked over to me and grin.
"It's because it wasn't your first kiss." "What do you mean? I'm pretty sure I would remember my first kiss Ven." "Well you see," he started saying while he scratched his cheek. A for sure sign saying how he was a bit nervous. "A few days after we first met, you were sleeping in the grass and I couldn't help but look at you. Later I had kissed you without realizing it." There was a nervous chuckle that followed.
"Wow Ven I can't believe you violated me in my sleep. I can't trust you anymore." "Bu but but..." he didn't get a chance to finish as his lips were busy with something else.
"So I take that kiss as a sign that I'm forgiven?" His head tilted as the words left his mouth. Puppy dog eyes were added to give special effects to play the mood. I couldn't help my laugh, "Of course it means yes Ven. What do you want me to keep kissing you until you figure out it means yes?" "You know (name)," Ven paused smirking leaning his face close to mine, "I don't actually know if you forgive me or not." I smiled closing the gap slightly, "you're such a butt ven, but I still love you."
You planted one on his cheek and ran for it. Ven recovered fast and began chasing you around the park. You both stayed there in the park playing around and watching the stars until you fell asleep and Ven carried you back home.
