If you haven't read the first part, then this ain't going to make any sense. So, please read the first part before you dive into this and end up hella confused. :)

She hoped, prayed, that she would never see him again. The man that took her, flipped her upside down and left her to rout all the while he played an illusion and used her. But there he was, in the same booth that he had been in the first time they met. Her heart clenched, her stomach dropped. She had still not gotten over him or what he had done to her two years ago.

She traced his maroon hair, the scar that covered his left eye, his dark and depressing choice of clothes. He looked the same, as if no time had passed at all. Though he was almost completely different at the same time.

His shoulders weren't slumped. There was no cigarette hanging from his lips. He no longer had bags under his eyes but appeared washed and clean. He wore a smile as he joked along with friends that she didn't recognize. He seemed alive, happy, content, all the things that he had ripped out of her.

"Hello, earth to (Y/n)." Her friend waved a hand in front of her glazed over eyes, snapping her out of the trance he had put her in. "What has gotten into you?"

"Nothing." Her new friends knew nothing about Cobra and what he did. After their breakup she had to start anew or she would have no hope of living with the pain. These were all fairly new friends.

"She was looking at that boy over there," another one pointed at Cobra. "Maybe she likes him? He's hot." And once again the girl in question zoned out of the conversation that was about her. Her eyes continued to glance over to him, her heart beating too fast for her own good.

She shot up from her seat, her eyes set only one thing; the exit.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing?" the girls she left behind asked, though there was no point in explaining. There was no way that she could explain. "Where are you going? (Y/n)!"

That was when he turned around. The name was just too familiar, he couldn't ignore how his body reacted to it. His one eye scanned the diner and soon fell upon the girl in the midst of leaving.

"(Y/n)?" He asked without thinking. His group of friends looked at him questioningly and forced Cobra to take his eyes away from the girl's retreating figure.

"Erik, are you alright man? Do you know that girl?"

"Looks like an ex to me." The guy took a sip and before Cobra knew it, they were all watching the girl as she fought her way through the crowded streets. "Am I right?"

"Yeah, an ex." His eyes were back on her and watched her get pushed around in the crowd. She seemed as if she was fighting pointlessly, like she let the crowd push her because the alternative was just not worth it, out of reach. She looked different.

"She fucked you up, huh?" Cobra slightly hated how easy he was being read, and grew a scowl. He also grew a scowl because that statement was only half true. She didn't fuck him up, but the other way around. He basically ruined her life, and knew so perfectly.

Cobra didn't bother answering, but stood up instead to follow her. He shuffled out of the booth, ignoring the grunts and questions as he made his way through. Once he was out he jogged to the door. However right before he was able to open the door and leave after her, one of his friends called out, "Put in a word for me, she's hot!"

Cobra stopped, looked at the guy with the most threatening glare he could muster and left, with a slam of the door. The diner was left in question, the guys laughing at the situation, some curious, but mostly just amused. The girls however, who were friends with the girl Cobra ran after, grew silent as they watched the couple with a puzzled expression. To be even more clearer, no one understood what just and was about to occur.

Cobra was able to push his was through the crowd fairly easily and caught up with her in no time. Except he waited before he made a move. He didn't want to make a scene, he also didn't want the first time for them to speak after two years and a horrible if not catastrophic breakup, be in the middle of a crowded sidewalk. Soon the crowd thinned out slightly and he finally felt comfortable to call out her name.

"(Y/n)." It wasn't as loud as he would have liked, but she heard. She also seemed to stop mid walk and a few people crashed into her. However, she did not turn around to face him. Some people gave the two of them a look as they passed, but other than that, no scene. Which was something he was definitely happy about.

When he figured that she would not turn around, he moved to walk around to her. But the second he took a step, she turned in a flash and took a step back. A smile bright across her lips and a very energetic, "Hi!" surfacing with a voice he didn't quite recognize. He didn't recognize the smile either, actually.

"Hi? It's Cobra, I don't know if you remem-"

"I remember!" He thought it would be said with anger, with hatred, or sadness, or even matter a factually. But it was bright and bubbly as if someone was trying to impersonate who she was before he met her.

"Okay... I wanted to say that I'm-" and she once again cut him off. He didn't noticed, but the fingers that she held behind her back were trembling, there was a frog in her throat and she had begun to sweat nervously.

"I have to go! Yes, big appointment!" She began to turn around, picturing the soon freedom she would experience once she was to escape him. But he didn't want to let her go that easily. He grabbed her arm before she fled.

"Wait, I wanted, I need to talk to you about what happened." The bright smile that she wore disappeared and she looked slightly scared. Cobra stared into her wide eyes with so much fire and passion, it was met with anxiety and fear. Her (e/c) orbs looked as though they may break. And with the intensity of his', they very much will.

She was scared if he could feel just how much she was trembling in front of him. She was scarred he wouldn't let go and she'd be engulfed once again, and everything she once was would be ripped away from her one more time. She had never feared something more than now. She tried to rip her arm out of his grasp.

But someone bumped into them and she went slightly off balance. And in order to keep her up straight, Cobra took hold of her other arm, and she knew by then there was no escape. Her throat went dry and she couldn't muster a single sound to call out for help.

"(Y/n)," it physically hurt to hear him say her name just like he used to two years ago, "I'm so incredibly and forever will be, sorry for what I did to you." His words and voice were all comforting, but she felt anything but comforted.

He could feel her tremble under his hold, he now put the answer to the question he had been asking himself since. How much did her ruin her?

Answer: Completely. He completely and utterly destroyed this girl.

He knew that the best thing for her would just be to let her go, and maybe in time she would heal. But he couldn't deny the attachment, the guilt he felt towards this girl, so he continued. His grip loosened slightly on her arms but not enough where she could escape.

"I need to explain to you what happened. I need to tell you so many things, number one that I'm sorry. I just need you to talk to me again." She told herself not to believe anything that he was saying, no matter how much she wanted to.

He is the enemy, and nothing makes the enemy happier than knowing that they actually hurt their target. So, she tried as best as she could to calm her shaking, to suppress her fear and wear the bright smile that she used to always wear, however it felt like a mask.

"I know what happened Cobra. I was drug."

He wasn't expecting it to hurt that much again, it had been two years.

"No you weren't!" He clenched onto her arms a little too hard, but she didn't show any pain. She looked like one of those cardboard cut outs, like a stationary picture of an on demand emotion.

"Yo Erik! What's going on?" His posse of friends had come after him. He turned around, in the process letting go of her arms. However she didn't run away just yet, the new name had taken her by surprise.

"Erik?" Cobra heard her ask and found himself genuinely smiling. She was the reason he decided to go back to his real name. He turned back to her, momentarily forgetting about the douches behind him.

"What? You couldn't possibly think that I'd go by my nickname forever."

"Nickname?" He even lied to her about his name. Her cardboard cut out smile disappeared as she frowned and began to think about all the other things that he lied to her about.

"Yeah, did you actually think my name was Cobra?" His tone was filled with playfulness, that all died away when he looked down to her face. His smile vanished.

Time was beginning to run out. He didn't how much longer he could hold her here, and he also didn't how much longer until his disruptive friends would arrive. So, he decided to take a leap of faith. Digging into his back pocket he uncovered a receipt from some stupid meal days before, and retrieved a pen from who knows where. He then, began to scribble his number onto the back of it.

"(Y/n)." He grabbed the girl's hand and put the receipt in her palm before forcing her hand to close with his other so that he now held her hand in his. He hated to admit how much he longed to. "Please call me, I'll answer any questions you have. Please don't throw this or me away, there is still so much I need to tell you."

"Erik! Hey! Listen to us!" The pack of boys yelled, and he turned around dropping her hand. She took this as a chance to escape and fled into the moving crowd, her fist clenched tight around the number.

"What?" Cobra asked with annoyance.

"Did you put in a word with the girl?"

"Over my dead body." The group of guys laughed and he turned around to find her missing.

...

"Hello? Who is it?" His deep and slightly raspy voice echoed through the phone that she held to her ear. She wasn't going to do this, never planned on it. But the receipt that held his phone number that sat at the bottom of her trash can was haunting her. And after three days, she finally dug through it and found herself dialing the numbers. She knew it was a bad idea, but couldn't help herself.

"Hello? Why is no one speaking? I swear if this is a butt dialing or a prank I will-"

"Hey..." She hated how much her voice shook. Cobra stopped immediately and froze. He was at a pub playing pool with his friends, all ready had downed a few beers, a little more than usual with the lack of her call. But there she was. She frowned slightly at the noise coming from his side of the phone.

There was a sudden muffle of noise, some talking, and a short pause before she herd from him again. Where ever he was now, was a lot quieter than before. "Sorry about that, it was probably really loud."

She nodded, but of course he couldn't see.

"You called." She could hear the smile in his voice.

"I wasn't planning on it." He could hear the frown in her's.

"Yeah, but you did. Which is good. Really, really good actually." She didn't like how happy he was sounding. Was it her? Did she make him this happy, this much out of character? He sounded normal before, when he didn't know that it was her.

There was another pause, a pause he was hoping to hear her speak again, but after some time new that was just wishful thinking and quite selfish of him. So, he continued the conversation on his own. "I'm guessing you have some questions, right? About us."

That word made her shiver. She hadn't heard an us in a very long time. To be quite honest, he ruined that word for her. Us, has trust going both ways, and thanks to him, she doesn't know if she will ever trust someone again.

"I guess." Although so little words, he enjoyed listening to her. He missed her more than she'll ever think, more than she could ever image.

"Okay, ask away." However all the questions she had been wanting to ask ever since, all melted away and she grew tongue tied.

When there was another pause and a long silence began to draw on, he knew he was asking too much. She wasn't ready, not even the slightest, to do anything with him. But he couldn't just let her go, never again, he had told himself. Glancing at his watch, he quickly composed a plan.

"It's getting late, how about another day? Let's meet up, I'll text you later with the details. Is that okay?" Cobra had his fingers crossed as he asked. It would be a miracle for her to say yes. The fact that she even called was a miracle. Was he asking for too much?

"Sure," she said before she really understood what she was getting herself in. She could always cancel later right?

"Great. Thank you. Good night I guess." He was over the moon, he only hoped that it wasn't too obvious.

She removed the phone from her ear, and already thinking that he hung up and muttered a quiet, "he's changed," before she turned her phone off.

Although quiet, he heard it. And looking at his phone he smiled. "I have, thanks to you." He secured his phone into his pocket and walked back into the club to pay, grab his things, and leave.

...

She tried to ignore the texts for as long as she could until she finally had to reply. Luckily for her, every day that he had suggested, she had been busy. But now, he had chosen the one day that she was completely free from sunrise to sunset.

Unknown Number: How about this Saturday? You free?

She still has yet to put him into her contacts, because that would just make everything that much more real. Something she was not ready for.

He sat on his bed right before he had to leave for class, his leg was shaking tremendously as he waited with his phone in his hand. The message he had sent was labeled read, and she should reply in no time. Any longer he would be late, but he didn't care.

Then the bubble appeared, and his heart decided to run a race.

(Y/n): I'm free.

A smile so big it stretched his skin appeared upon his lips, however he had to quickly dispose of it before any of his roommates noticed.

"Erik, you're going to be late!"

He looked up from his phone and grimaced. "I know! Not an idiot, like some people!"

He looked back down and smiled slightly, rushing through his text, somehow his thumbs not missing a single key as he typed so quickly.

Unknown Number: Great, I'll tell you where to meet later.

She frowned before tossing her phone into her bag and leaving her own dorm. She had an interview today for a job she really wanted. Jumping in her car, she hoped that he wouldn't distract her too much to the point where she would mess everything up.

But the nerves were unmissable, and they weren't because of the interview.

...

She had just arrived at the venue that Cobra had texted her. It was barely twelve o'clock, and he suggested having lunch together. Because of this, she wasn't able to eat breakfast, and didn't think she would be able to eat lunch either.

Cobra was already there when she had arrived. He occupied a little table in the back, thankfully away from the lunch rush that had taken over the front of the little restaurant. She tried to calm her nerves before walking over to him.

"Hey." Cobra looked up from his phone, where he was playing some random popular game. He was beginning to think that she wouldn't show, also he began to think that she was blowing him off before when she rejected every time he suggested. But here she was, and there was nothing to worry about anymore.

He looked up at her and smiled, something he wished she would do. He pocketed his phone before speaking. "Sit down, I'll call over the waiter."

She sat down as instructed and didn't speak, didn't say she had no idea what to order or that there would be no point in doing so.

"Don't worry about the food, it's on me." She nodded because she should at least be polite even though speaking wasn't something she thought she could do. She didn't look much different to him from when they last met, but miles away from the (Y/n) he had originally met. Even though he was the reason, he was here to change her back.

Once the waiter had arrived, Cobra ordered the food, and soon enough it had arrived. The food that laid in front of her was something she would have ordered for herself two years ago, something that she had once ordered on a date with the man in front of her. She only stared at the meal.

"Sorry if you don't like it anymore, but I remembered that you liked it."

She stayed silent and just exhaled. She wondered what exactly she was doing there, why she was in front of him, why she bothered to have all of the painful memories and emotions resurfaced. What did she expect to happen today? What exactly did he expect to happen today?

Twenty minutes later and there was slim to none conversation at all, none from her at least. Cobra tried many times until he simply gave up and let her eat. Though she didn't look to do very much of that.

"I asked for you to come here so that we could talk," Cobra stated.

Catching on she finally had the nerve to respond, "I don't want to talk to you."

Cobra sighed exasperatingly. "Then why'd you come?" He looked at her expectantly. When she didn't reply, he was only put in a worse mood. "Why'd you come? Why'd you reply? Why'd you do anything if you wanted nothing to do with me?"

By then she had simply had enough. The sorrow emotions she usually wore and dealt with were replaced by a spark of anger. She was no longer depressed because of him, no longer scared, she was simply just angry.

"Why'd you use me?" Cobra froze, and she continued, "Why'd you play me, use me, suck me dry until there was nothing left and then just simply leave me to die?"

"(Y/n)..."

"No. You said you would answer my questions, and that is exactly what you are going to do. WHY. DID. YOU. USE. ME?" She was thankful for the noise in the restaurant, no one had seemed to notice them.

"Because I was a greedy, depressed, selfish bastard, that took advantage of the most pure and kind girl the world has ever come to know, just so that I could feel better."

She wiped at her eyes furiously as she cried tears she wanted nothing to do with.

"And was that supposed to make me feel better?" She asked, her voice slightly cracking and her face turning turning red. It hurt to see her like this but he knew he had to endure it.

"No, but-"

"But what? Why exactly are you here, with me, the girl you trampled on? Why Cobra? Or should I say Erik now, because apparently you lied to me about that too."

"(Y/N)!" He stopped her before she went too far. "I'm here to apologize, to right my wrongs."

"Am I just an obstacle in your path to a beautiful life?" She was having none of the bullshit that he was spewing at her, and wanted nothing more than to slap him and leave, never to think about or see him again.

"No, stop thinking like that." Cobra reached over the table to grab her hand but she ripped it away. And standing up she said goodbye.

"I never want to see or hear from you again."

She walked all the way out of the restaurant before Cobra ran after her.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" He grabbed her arm. "I'M SORRY!"

She turned around, "You don't get to be sorry." Her glare was heart breaking and she ripped her arm out of his grasp.

"Do I get to explain then? Do I least get to explain myself to you?" This was his last chance, he knew it.

She thought about it before nodding slightly. That was enough for him to take her arm again in his hold and pull her out of the crowded street and into a park that surrounded a beautiful river. He stopped once under a tree that rested next to said river.

She stared at him expectantly for the story that she knew that she shouldn't completely believe. Cobra sat down against the tree, yet she remained standing. He began his story.

"I was born with the name Erik, I changed it to Cobra as a way not to disgrace my mother. The place I was in while being Cobra would disappoint her to the point where she would roll over in her grave. So, I became Cobra so that she, along with anyone else who knew me, wouldn't know what I was doing. Thanks to you, I'm back to Erik." He gave a fraction of a smile to her, too scared that it would make her upset, but she didn't seem to care.

He continued, "I've never regretting anything in my life. Everything I've done in the past has lead me to where I am now, meaning it was worth it. But you," he turned to look at her and their eyes locket, "I'll always regret what I did to you. Breaking you, is the biggest regret of my entire life."

She didn't say anything, but sat down next to him under the tree, slow tears descending down her cheeks.

"You didn't know it, but I went to see you many times after our break up. There was so much guilt trapped in my body I had to get rid of. For a week I watched you break down and crumble to pieces, yet I did nothing. But I had to do something."

"You did nothing," she said and Cobra frowned.

"I didn't do nothing, I did the one thing that I could do, the one thing that you died trying to. I saved myself."

She knew what he was talking about. When they first met, it was because of the dark hole that he was in and the bright light that she was. She walked over and sat in front of him because she wanted to save him.

"Another reason why I wanted to see you again after all these years was to thank you," he turned completely towards her and grabbed her hands in his, thankful that she didn't pull away. "Although you didn't do it directly, you are the reason I'm Erik, I'm saved. And for that I'll be forever thankful." His tan and still calloused hand reached up and wiped away a falling tear.

"You have no idea how sorry I am for breaking you."

For the first time in two years she smiled a genuine smile. "I'm starting to have an idea." And she giggled slightly.

He missed that sight, that sound, for too long. And seeing and hearing it again was too good to be true, he felt his own eyes getting moist.

"Can I ask you a question?" Her soft and pure voice broke the silence and Cora removed his hand from her cheek. He nodded and smiled.

"Of course, that's why I invited you hear wasn't it?"

She didn't return his smile but held a serious expression. "What's the biggest lie you've ever told?"

"And why do you want to know this?"

"I thought I should know, being a person you played." She was joking which he was glad for, but the words were still truthful. Cobra nodded before gulping slightly.

"The biggest lie I've ever told was when you asked me if I ever loved you and I said no."

The pair grew silent and the rushing of the water seemed a little bit too loud.

Cobra's hand went back to her check, though not to wipe a tear, but to pull her closer.

"You may not believe me, and have the right not to. But the jerk that ripped your life in pieces is so far in love I can barely breath. Finding you was the best thing that ever happened to me, and finding you again is even better." He began to lean in, his lips aching the feeling of being pressed but against hers. But before they touched, she stopped him.

"Before anything happens, do you promise to never use me, break me, lie to me, or abandon me ever again?" She asked, her lips ghosting his.

"I wouldn't dream of it, I promise."

That was all she needed to close the distance and be back where she belonged. Their lips moved perfectly together, missing the other pair just a tad bit too much. They had to pause for air, but it felt as though the kiss never ended.

"You may not believe me, but I, 100% love you and will do for I don't care how long." He kissed her one more time, a lingering peck.

She smiled at him, the realest smile she's ever smiled and said something she knew was anything but a lie, "I love you too."
