Hold Tight (Chapter 12)
--- LAURENS POV ---
"This shit is annoying" I quietly mumbled to myself as I looked over to Camila and Austins direction. Camila is playing a game that's has a very close resemblance to wack-a-mole, Austin is standing directly behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist and his chin resting on her shoulder. I watched in annoyance as his hands continuously rubbed along her stomach back and forth.
In all honesty no matter how bad I wanted to go over there and rip his hands off of Camila, I couldn't blame him. She's fucking beautiful and the outfit she's wearing is literally tearing me apart from the inside out. Camila must've felt me staring at her because she turned her attention towards me and glared at me, we continued to stare at each other challengingly until Austin put his big ass head in front of Camila's face, blocking my view for only a few seconds before going right back behind her again. I continued to watch her until I saw Austin loop his fingers through Camila's belt hoops and pulled her even closer to him.
"I hate that outfit" I unintentionally said out loud
"Did you say something?" Kyle asked
"Uh no" I said quickly
"Are you okay? You're uh you're really red" he said
"I'm fine, it's just really hot in here" I said slightly smiling
"It is isn't it" he said rubbing the back of his neck "you should do that more often"
"Excuse me?" I said confused
"Smile I mean... You have a nice one"
"Oh, Thank you" I said smiling again but this time a little wider
"No problem" he said smiling down at me "Austin ya'll ready to go play laser tag, it's getting kinda hot in here" he said looking at me and winking.
I had quickly thrown on my vest for laser tag and from the corner of my eye I could see Camila struggling a bit with hers. Turning my head to get a full view of her I carelessly let my eyes travel all over her. I had done it so many times tonight that I no longer cared about getting caught. The only thing on my mind was finishing this laser tag game so that I can go home and get away from Camila and that outfit.
"Red vest over there blue vest over here" A brunette who appeared as if she were my age said
"Damn it" I heard Austin say but I decided not to pay much attention to him as he kept on rambling
"You gonna go or what?" Austin said nodding his head into the door where I could see the rest of he red vests glowing.
"When did they... never mind" I said shaking my head and following the red vests in front of me. I was looking ahead of me and noticed that I was the only girl playing in my group. I wasn't really listening when The girl started talking about the rules as I had been to boomers literally a thousand times. I knew the rules and all rooms to hid in the laser tag area. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I overheard some guys whispering loudly in front of me
"Aye you see that girl on the blue team" one of guys said to the taller guy beside him
"Which one man? There was like four of them" the taller one said
"The one with the short short shirt and the nice ass" the shorter one said
"Come on man have some respect" the taller one said making me smile
"I know... I'm just saying her ass nice. Almost as nice as the girl in our group"
"You know I can hear you right" I said annoyed
"I know" he said laughing "I'm just speaking the truth"
"Ignore him" the taller one said
"Aye man chill" Austin surprisingly said
"My bad bro no disrespect, didn't know she was your girl" the shorter guy said
"She's not"
"I'm not" Austin and I said at the same time
"You know your voice sounds familiar" the taller guy said as he turned his head towards Austin and I
"I knew I knew you, you're the asshole that-" he began to say before being cut off by the girl
"HEY! Whatever issue you two have going on, can wait until after you have left boomers property. Got it?" She said Angrily. "Now this is your area, game starts when you hear the ringing or buzzing sound" the girl said walking away as soon as she was out of site the buzzer went off.
I began walking when I jumped as felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around I saw that it was the taller guy from the line
"Sorry" the guy said backing away
"It's okay" I said "did you need something?" I asked
"Yea kinda" I said sounding a little upset "Look I just came to tell you that that dude that your with is nothing but bad news"
"What do you mean?" I asked
"It's not really my place to say. I uh... I made a promise. But whatever you do watch out for that guy okay. I suggest that you find a new boyfriend"
"Oh ewww, I'm not... we're not together he's here with my friend" I said rolling my eyes
"Well tell her be careful okay, he's not a guy you want to be friendly with"
"Where you at Cody?" A guy yelled from somewhere behind me
"I'm coming man hold up" he yelled back
"I know you don't know me but, I need you to trust me when I say Austin's not a good guy to be around" he said before jogging off. I wanted to ask him what he was talking about but, I was too taken back to talk.
I had shot a couple of people but, I couldn't seem to shake the the thought of what Cody was telling me about Austin. I was walking into the "blue" area when I heard a very familiar loud laugh. Following the laugh until it died down I saw Camila slowly walking with her laser gun close the her ready to shoot. She straightened up a bit and stretched her arms out
"That fucking outfit" I whispered to myself as I watched her stretch. I smiled as an idea popped into my head. I'm going to get her out of those clothes I don't care if I have to personally rip her clothes off myself I am going throw that whole outfit away, either that or burn it.
I followed her until I noticed that she was heading down towards the lower level. Remembering that there was a room by the staircase I ran the opposite way of her to try and beat her before she could get down to the lower level. I sprinted up until I got to the staircase where tip toed up to the room I slowly peeked to see if I could see Camila. Luckily her head was turned the opposite way or else she would've seen me. I tried to slow down my breathing as I heard her footsteps quickly get closer and when I saw jogging past the door I ducked out and shot her at vest making her blue light turn off. She tilted her head upwards before turning around to walk the opposite direction
Making my move I put my hand over her mouth and pulled her into the room with me.
"Shoot my vest" I said turning her towards me
"Lauren" she said angrily "What the hell?" I could see the angry expression on her face from the red light on my vest and she was giving me the most hypnotizing look I've ever seen and it made my flustered beyond belief. As much as I loved to see her face I needed the room to be completely dark so that no one would find us
"Shoot. My. Vest." I said getting closer to her. Seconds later I saw the light on my vest begin to die out and when it was finally completely dark I pushed her up against a wall.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing Camz?" I said breathing heavily
"I don't know what you're talking about" she said angrily
"Don't lie to me Camz! I'm not in the mood for games" I said inching my way closer to her neck
"And you think I am?" She spat out. Growing increasingly angry I grabbed her hands and pinned them against the wall as I pushed against her even more earning a wince. I heard her breathing pick up rapidly and I took it as an opportunity to keep going
"I know you are" I said before placing a gentle kiss on her neck
"I-I could say the ssssame about you" She stuttered out, making me smile as I knew she was getting turned on
"Oh Yea?" I asked with my lips just centimeters away from hers
"Yeah" she huskily said before quickly attaching her lips to mine
I grew angry as I remember why I was kissing her in the first place. All because of that fuckin' outfit
"Don't think you've fooled me Camz" I said disconnecting our lips. I felt her push forward multiple times but I moved back chuckling as she continuously tried to reattach our lips.
"I know what you're doing Camz. And I know you know that I don't like it" I said reaching under her vest and began to rub circles into her stomach
"You sure you're not just jealous?" She said stubbornly, I took a deep breath in and before I knew our positions changed and I was now the one pinned up against the wall letting out a groan that came out more as a moan. Before I could say anything I felt her lips roughly on mine. She bite my lip and pulled it tightly earning her another moan from me.
"Fuck Camz" I said breathlessly when she let go
"Mm... I think you're forgetting a word in that sentence " she whispered into my ear
"I-" I started to say but couldn't bring myself to finish as I had gotten Cotton mouth
"Tsk tsk that's not it" she said bringing her right hand up to my face and tilting my head before bringing her lips breathtakingly close to mine
"Try aga-" she began to say but was cut off by the lights turning on and someone speaking over be intercom
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls your time is up. Please make your way back towards the entrance"
Pulling away from me, she ran her right hand through her hair, smiled at me and said "you coming?" before walking out leaving me flustered in my place. Walking out shortly after her, I was trailer behind her by a few feet when we passed a bin that looked like a trash can causing me to roll my eyes and cussed to myself as I realized what I didn't do
"You had one job Jauregui... trash her fucking clothes" I said angrily
