As the rain falls
we see our past go by
from a friend's death
or a siblings birth
The rain never stops
nor does it go away
just like our past
it doesn't get drifted
nor carried by the waves
As the clouds clear
and the past leave its ruins
we see the path
that leads to the untold future
the clouded path blocks our view
but our time hasn't become
our past is our lesson to learn
our future is the rain
we never know what it has instore
