In all these days
And the life in my years
I've not found the door
To Olympus
Fate threw their sparks
To Ignite latent desires
Growing walls that told how
To be inspired
Granted Wishes where trees laugh
And pretty flowers dance
But not the way they do
Under the harsh control
Of the wind .
But the way I imagine they would
If colours could sing
To be a part of the immortal journey
As a waterfall barks its foam into mist
Follow the hiss where new waters kiss
Until I've found home,
On a permanent horizon.
And if I did earn
A place among the stars,
Id spread my wings across the spanse
Of a universe yet to learn
And conjure twins of columns gold
As citizens flutter in silver hems
Or Deities under the eternal sun
Void of bitterness in the streets alike
But in the reality I'm from
I fear Paradise is too much to ask.
